We went here on a Thursday night and were seated right away for a table of two at 6PM. My boyfriend and I both had burgers of various sorts. I had a bison burger with guac, bacon, and gruyere cheese. It was served with a pretty smallish portion of fries. The burger was a good size; I could only eat half of it. The burger was ok; I felt it could have used a little more of something flavor-wise. And I agree about previous comments regarding the ketchup. My boyfriend ordered a sampler of 4 beers and the George's Brown. The beers were OK - not anything outstanding or special. Just meh, bland, nothing to rant and rave about. We decided *not* to purchase a growler after we had tried a few. If you're in the mood for good beers and burgers, drive the extra few miles to Breckenridge Brewery. read more

There are a ton of reviews for this place and one more 4-star isn't going to make much of a difference, but I'm here to add my couple tips. - IPA is great here! Other beers are interesting as well, but this is my favorite. - The vegetarian nachos are very tasty and HUGE! A great meal to split with another person. Don't go for the guacamole though - it's not worth the $1.50. - Although nothing beats a beer post-snowboarding, summer at the DAM is great as well. They have a cute little, well-shaded patio in the garden. I think sitting here makes the food taste even better. read more

Busy place and we know why. Good food. Good Beer. We were up in Keystone for a weekend getaway. Stopped here on the way back to our condo after a long day in the area. My husband ordered the nachos and these nachos could feed our entire table. WAY too much for one person. Lively crowd and pleasant waiter. Got the Bloody Mary / beer special during a college football game. Great for the price. Lots of friendly locals. read more

Consisently good. We go once a month on average. Happy hour can't be beat but even outside of that it's reasonably. Good beer --- better than most brewpubs. Good burgers. Huge Nachos (a bit of a salt bomb, though). Good kids menu. I prefer not to sit upstairs -- too many TV's around to distract us. read more

I have been going to Dillon Dam Brewery for a few years prior to this review for a beer and food after a long day of adventures in the mountains. It wasn't until recently that I ordered a full flight of the beer and I was very pleased with pretty much all of the beers they offer. I would never have tried the dam light (or lite?) outside of a flight, but it was a very flavorful, light bodied beer and pleasantly surprised by it. A few of their heavier bodied beers (I think it was the extra pale ale and the brown) were a little to heavy for me, but I could certainly see myself drinking one in the middle of the winter on a cold dark evening. They had a chili beer that was probably the best chili beer I've ever had as I feel breweries that do chili beers do them as novelties. It was a great light-medium body beer and had a subtle flavor of chili that was perfect and great for summer! Their wheat and hefeweizen were also great tasting, light summer beers. The flight was equal to three beers so I now know what I'll be ordering pints of depending on the time of year I'm there. I feel I should take a star off because I think the food is kind of expensive, but the beer and service I feel make up for that. It is great quality and great tasting, but just expensive in my opinion. The fried we had we cooked really well and nice n' crispy. read more

We stopped by the Dillon Dam Brewery on our way home from a tiring snowshoeing day. The entire place was filled to the brim, but since we were exhausted, cold, and had a baby in tow, we stayed put and waited the 45-50 min. It was worth the wait! I ordered the chicken fried chicken and my boyfriend had the mountain man mac and cheese with chicken. The breading on my chicken was crisp and very flavorful. Some of the best I've had! Leftovers made for a great breakfast the next morning! I sampled the mac and cheese and loved the flavors in that as well. Our tablemates commented on the quality and flavor of the beer, though I can't speak to that myself. read more

Great place to have a bite close to Keystone resort. Service was great and very friendly. Food was great as well, very consistent among everyone in our party. From the appetizers to the entrees, we were all very happy with the taste and quality of the food. For starters, we had the german sausage with soft pretzels and the wings, both were very tasty. Then I tried the fish and chips and mywife had the cheese burger, both were very tasty as well. It was a great local place to escape from the over priced ski resort restaurants. read more

Love this brewery!!!! Good food and amazing beer. Always have a great selection of beer on tap.

Super disappointed with an old favorite. As locals we came here twice a month for years with mostly good experiences. We supported the Dam early during COVID buying takeout and tipping 50% plus. In the last few months, wait times have been too long due to reduced space and staff. Understandable. With restrictions loosening, we returned. Poor service. Tried again and we were completely ignored during happy hour when it wasn't busy. Couldn't get bartender attention. No eye contact. Bartender looked miserable and just walked away. No smiles. Couldn't get a beer. read more

Great food, beer, vibe and excellent service! We stopped by this local restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. Ordered the Chicken fried Chicken, The Dam Burger, chili pot pie. Every dish was flavorful and a lot of food. Thank you! read more

Location on (mobile yelp) map was not correct. go here: 100 Little Dam Street Dillon, CO 80435 Food looked good, lots of choices on the menu I wanted to try... I had the Pilsner (Beer tasted good) and the mac & cheese with blackened chicken. Portions were reasonable - could be larger. Things I'd go back for: Dam Fine Wings (1 LB of Wings). Jumbo chicken wings, fried crispy, and glazed with our signature Chipotle sauce. Served with carrots & celery & your choice of ranch or bleu cheese. one of their specialty burgers, maybe: The Zurich Topped with smoked bacon, Gruyere, and guacamole. Beef $9.95 Buffalo $11.75 Chicken $9.95 Veggie $8.95 read more

We went to the Dam Brewery on Fat Tuesday night with another couple and had a great time, however it was mostly the company, and not the brewery that provided the cheer. 3 stars for this joint because it is a middle of the road, average brewery, with absolutely nothing that sets it apart from other brewpubs. The fish and chips and burgers were average, the service was average and the beer was average. They definitely have lots of variety in the menu and have various beer and a full bar, so everyone in your party can be moderately satisfied. read more

I went to this place twice. The first time the Cortez Burger was amazing and the female bartender was very attentive, however we were the only people there as they had just opened. My friend got the special sandwich which the server raved about...I thought it was okay. The second time was horrible. 2 bartenders that were very good at refilling our drinks but that was it. We started with the cheese dip, it was good but not great. Mostly just not my style, and that's okay. I had the fish and chips. It was gross. The coleslaw was really bad, possibly spoiled. I like every kind of slaw, so this was offsetting. The fish was overly battered and fried. The fish was bland. I hardly touched it. My friend got the wings which came put on a very hot plate but the wings themselves were cold. No one ever asked us how our meal was. She was hungry and ate her cold wings anyway. I could not bring myself to eat my food. No one even asked or checked on me so I could tell them. Finally when we asked for the check, I handed my plate to the bartender and told him I really didn't care for my meal. He LAUGHED at me, tossed it in the bus tub under the bar, and handed us our check. This really upset me. I have a huge palate and love brewpub food. I think the Dam brewery has some of the best beer too. That's why there are 3 stars. Definitely damn good beer, and burgers. Anyway, $40 later and extremely unsatisfied, still hungry, and very offended. read more

Had the taco salad, was delicious! Unfortunately, nothing else was... sat at the bar, Saturday night around 9pm. Bartender was completely unattentative and uninterested in his job/customers. Clearly doing the bare minimum as a bartender, we asked if a sandwich could be cut in half and he told us we'd have to do it ourselves, fine. When the chicken sandwich came out it had the world's single smallest tomato slice. Yes, single, lol - see pic! Lastly, finding anyone in the restaurant who was working and "available" to cash us out took another 20 mins. read more

The bison options are awesome and truly delicious. Try the Flying Dutchman or the bison sausage-especially if you don't have bison readily available back home. The beers and service are great as well, plenty of seating. read more

Amazing, food, beer and service. We felt safe and the food was outstanding. Recommend the Philly, Onion Soup and Chili.

Sat at bar due to long wait. Staff friendly, good food, other items on menu I would have liked to try but we were just there for a couple of days so didn't get to return. read more

Worth the wait at this place. The food was excellent and they try to get people seated as quickly as possible. Only tried the stout beer and it was the best I've had. Not disappointed at all from eating dinner here. read more

Great Service.......Very good cold beer....Food was excellent..Very enjoyable evening and meal.

All in all I would say meh. Not bad, not great. My husband and I had burgers, our table mate had the ground beef nachos. The nacho plate was huge, but chips were over cooked and dry. Decent food for the price in a mountain town. read more

Great brewpub in Summit County, one of my favorite places to stop for a pint. They have great food and even better beer. Go during HH because otherwise the pints are steep, locals get a huge discount on beers and if you don't come across like a idiot the bartender may extend the same to you. Can get really packed during lunch and dinner but it moves fast and you get seated quickly. One male bartender is a complete tool and acts like he is doing you a favor if he even acknowledges your presence, management needs to move him to dishwasher so no one else has to endure his attitude. read more

I like hanging out at the Dam Brewery after a long day of snowboarding - good beers, good food, and a chill environment. I've been there about a half-dozen times by now, and have liked my food and beers every time. The Schuykill cheese-steak is particularly good. read more

Had the best macaroni and cheese of my *life* here! Rich, creamy and pure heaven! Add the blackened chicken to it, you won't regret it! Tried the wheat beer and it was good but I wish I had tried something different that I don't normally get as I tend to gravitate toward wheats. For an appetizer we had the giant pretzels with mustard...talk about some spicy mustard! My sinuses will never be the same! The pretzels were good though, perfect for s snack if you are just there to try the variety of beer. All in all a good experience, friendly servers and great atmosphere. My son also loved telling everyone he ate at the Dam Brewery and ordered off the Dam kids menu! ;) read more

This place is insanely crowded. And the food is good, but nothing special. I ordered macaroni and cheese (there was totally a trend on this trip). The cheese sauce itself was mediocre but they put seasoned bread crumbs on top that were REALLY good. read more

The brewed beer list was huge and great. The onion rings are a must for an appetizers, large and delish. The kids meal corndog was good, filling for the kiddos. Blackened Chicken macaroni & cheese was great! The veggie wrap was not good! The vegetables were almost pickled. Sour! The quinoa cakes were cold, dry and pretty bland. They come as an appetizer as well, would not be worth a starter meal. The beef stew was amazing, had a kick and full of flavors. Love the atmosphere, social and warm feel from the moment we walked in. Banana bread pudding, not bad on the flavor, but the texture was off...not recommendation. We were all like, "should have tried the brownie" All and all visit this place! Especially after a day on the slopes read more

Dillon Dam Brewery - American Near Me - Dillon, Colorado

Super-busy, but good beer. What I ordered: ground chicken burger with sauteed mushrooms and onions, and a side of guacamole. What I got: plain grilled chicken patty, dry, on a plate. Um, big difference. So they brought me the wrong order, and over - charged for it, too. Fairly disappointed. Fortunately, the chilli lime vinaigrette for my side salad had good flavor and they're allergy-friendly. read more

Dillon Dam Brewery - Eating at the bar avoids an hour wait. - American Near Me - Dillon, Colorado

Ah what to say about the Dam that hasn't been said already? I've been coming here since the year they opened (1997) and have loved basically every visit. Yes, I am only going to give it 4.5'ish stars but bear with me... From drinking my first legal beers here, to having our rehearsal dinner to weekly happy hour visits during the ski season I've been around a bit to see things progress & change. First, the beers are always solid. Our go to is the Dam IPA and it is near perfection. Smooth, hoppy and refreshing year round. The various seasonals such as the Dam Gogh and High Speed Quad Ale are mighty fine. I dare you to find at least one beer on the menu you don't like. Not gonna happen. It is too bad the head brewer left awhile back (not sure of backstory) but so far that beers continue to make us giddy. The service is almost always prompt & friendly. We've gotten to know a few servers/bartenders over the years and some even stick around for awhile. A good sign for sure. It is rare to leave even partially disappointed in the service, so they have that dialed. The food? Surprisingly my only real gripe right now. Thus the 4 star rating and not 5. The dinner items rarely disappoint but the appetizers have fallen by the wayside lately it seems. The wings have been dry, not meaty and the included veggies not very fresh. We were also quite bummed when the old pretzel went away and was replaced by the pretzel bites. We've tried the pretzel bites a few times and keep being disappointed. It's like eating cardboard. Even the asiago cheese dip has suffered as of late. We have had a few burgers that have been overcooked (sent one or two back) as well. Not sure what is going on the kitchen as of late, but I hope it improves. Oh and one more gripe. Can the bathrooms get hot water a little quicker to the faucets? It seems you always have to wait (or sometimes get no hot water at all) to wash one's hands. Brrr. Otherwise we'll keep coming back. With Bakers' now open across I-70 we've been bouncing between the two nowadays. With crap snow the one hour earlier happy hour at Bakers' is enticing along with really good food right now. The Dam will always be special, but with a new brewery in town it might be time to step up the game a bit. read more

Dillon Dam Brewery - American Near Me - Dillon, Colorado

After reading all of the reviews, I was quite disappointed. I visited with my family when we were up in Dillion for the week. They had been there previously (with out me) and raved about it so we went back. First of all, we had to wait 30 minutes on a Wednesday night which was surprising. After we were seated, our waiter brought us water, though we had to ask for ice. A few of us ordered beers, nothing too special. After looking over the menu, nothing seemed appealing so I went for the french onion soup and a small caesar salad. The soup tasted strongly of beer (it was called the ale french onion soup, but still) and the salad was so watery that I could barely taste anything but soggy lettuce. Not enthused. My dad raved about the pork schnitzel sandwich but almost anything impresses him. The other two family members we're terribly impressed with their dishes. Overall, just kind of bleh. Brewpubs are a dime a dozen in Colorado so I had higher expectations. read more

Really looked forward to trying the Dillon Dam Brewery only to be greatly disappointed. Bacon cheese burger was meh. Philly cheesesteak had no flavor! Server comped the sandwich but only because I told him it wasn't good as he took my plate away - not because he checked in with us or asked how things were. I felt sorry for those outside waiting 40 minutes for a table and hope that they weren't as disappointed as we were! read more

A summit county classic. Been coming here for 20 years and it never gets old. Burgers, salads, beer - all sooo good!

Great service! We came in at happy hour. The beer was amazing. And our food was really good and HUGe portion. We ordered off the appetizer. We had the nacho with chicken and the chicken taco. Way to much food for two people. Great quality food and really well prepared. read more

Delish chicken sandwich that we swapped instead of a burger. Great fast and friendly service
