About what you'd expect from a brew-pub. It was crowded on a Wednesday night, but we were seated immediately and our server came directly to the table. Happy Hour was from 3-6 pm and we enjoyed the reduced price pints. We only had a couple of appetizers, but they were very good. I'd recommend the nachos. We had really good service. We'll be going back. read more

Loved the set up for dining. We sat on the second level over looking the bar below and there were plenty of tvs with sports on which is always great in my book. The service was excellent as well and the burger I ordered had to best mix of toppings I ever had. read more

A bit disappointed about the ambiance (felt more like a Ruby Tuesday's than a brewery restaurant). The waiter we had was unbelievably nice. The meals were 30% off during mud season which was a nice surprise. Our food was average/ good but definitely above average for a small town. If in town again we would go back! It's also walking distance from the Hampton Inn. read more

Customer service sucks here, food sucks here, if you want dry food then this is your place, beer is the only thing i would come here for and thats it, everything else blows. read more

Great place for lunch or dinner! They have a wonderful selection of beers and a nice outdoor patio for the summer.

Have tried to eat here after a long day of boarding twice but can never get in. It's unfortunate that there is a hour and a half wait to sit and eat when there's only 1 person on the list. The reviews look great but we can never get in. Maybe next time... read more

I really cant believe all of the good reviews on here. We are from out of town and this place is highly recommend by the locals. I get that is says brewery but the food at most brewerys is usually pretty good. Definitely not here. The chicken wings are dry and have little sauce on them. The steak sandwich my husband had looked nasty from the get go. Well the taste followed. The mashed potatoes are heavy. The chicken fried chicken was burnt and hard to cut. The salad there is served hot. Ive never in my life had a hot salad served to me at any restaurant. Service was ok till a party of 15 showed up then of course we were just put to the side. Seriously, save your money and go somewhere else. Good thing it wasnt too bad of a price or else i would have been pissed. read more

my family and i LOVE this place. it is always so warm and inviting and has THE BEST buffalo burgers EVER! i can't even believe i resisted their deliciousness the last time i was there, but at least i got to try the portabello burger which was also SO GOOD! let the number of caps be a tribute to this no frills but many thrills colorado brewery. oh, and they brew their own beer which is also quite tasty (we've tried them all - mom & i like the wildernest wheat, dad goes for the sweet george's brown, and sister digs the dam lyte). plus, you get to really emphasize the DAM in saying their name! or anything for that matter. and their v. appropos motto is: dam good food. dam good beer. dam good fun! Cheers! read more

This was probably my favorite brewery that I visited in Colorado. I love amber beers, and I was big fan of the Dam Straight Beer and the Marzen. The Marzen was slightly sweeter and very smooth. The Dam Straight was more traditional, but also very very smooth. I started off my meal with the chili, and man was that good! Hearty, and just the right amount of spice. Really tender meat, big beans, and great flavor. For my entree I ordered the Bleu Cajun Bison Burger. Pretty good, but it needed some sort of sauce because the beef patty is coated in a Cajun seasoning, and spread with bleu cheese crumbles on top. Therefore, it becomes quite a dry burger. Some sort of "special sauce" would have moved this from good to great. read more

We recently took a trip to the mountains and visited a few breweries along the way and Dillon Dam was the highlight of the visit. The food was pretty good and the portions were very nice but the main reason we went there was for the beer which was all very good. There were a diverse selection of styles including a well balanced lager, IPA, and a nice malty brown. There were also styles that people aren't always that familiar with, Biere de Garde which was one of the best beers available. Once all was said and done this was a great brewery and the best one we went to and it was so good that we actually went twice. read more

So far Margaritas suck... Still waiting for food. Got salad instead of fries... substitution made the tiny side salad $5 .... Rip off! Burger good porter good. Not worthy of my return. read more

This is a good brewery. It has milder beers than you'll find at some of the other local microbrews, and the atmosphere is more relaxed than most. read more

Went for lunch, wasnt bad. Server was a bit slow. Food was ok, seems to have gone down hill a bit.

It's the week between Christmas and New Years, probably the busiest time of year in Silverthorne. Perhaps as a restaurant you might staff up or make arrangements to prepare for this busy time. I called trying to place a to-go order. Your staff said no to go orders whenever there's a wait. Does that mean if there's a 2 minute wait, you can't fill a to go order? It was 5:45 pm. I'll take my money elsewhere. read more

Visiting my friend in Colorado, he took me here for "ladies night" on Thursday evening. Not only did I get to drink for free, but their lager was very tasty! The fried chicken was great and there was nice entertainment going on - too bad it was a bit loud and I was trying to catch up with my old friend and it was hard to talk to each other. read more

We almost always stop at Dam Brewery when we are in Summit County. Great beer, onion rings, food. Yummy.

Food is DELICIOUS here!! Server was fantastic as well. Nice atmosphere for a Sunday lunch.

This place is bomb ! everything we ordered was scrumptious and well cooked, I had the moo moo chicken burger with mushrooms , carmelized onions and jack cheese , my husband had the beef chili which was hearty and well crafted , our friends also ordered a chicken burger with hand cut fries ( crispy and irresistible) and the hand battered chicken tenders. We had side salads with their signature southwest ranch , I'm a ranch girl and I say their ranch is top 2 on flavor and consistency . Their dinner menu looks great and I would recommend trying any of those items as I saw how delicious they looked when ordered by other customers. read more

After a long day of exploring the area, we decided to stop in and relax over drinks and food. Upon entering, you notice that the place must be good, just by looking at how busy it is. We were promptly sat in the bar section, and in under a minute the wait staff was bringing our drinks. The beers were great, and sitting right next to where they were brewed was impressive. The food was brought out quickly, and had no problems. The schnitzel sammy was amazing along with the beer mustard. Overall, the environment, drinks and food exceed any expectations. Our server, Joshua, was friendly and relaxed and provided possibly the best restaurant experience I have ever had. If you're passing through the area, be sure to stop in and see one of the best places this area has to offer. read more

This brewery is a fun place to have dinner. The food is good and the beer is even better. It does get crowded and they do not take reservations. Worth the wait. read more

Excellent. A must hit on for in town visits. Great everything. Have the nachos....amazing.

Food was subpar, and was a bit overpriced. The philly cheese steak had American cheese and was dry. Veggie burger was also dry, the Dam burger and chicken fried chicken were good. Food is a hit or miss. read more

Ordered the Sweet George's Brown beer and the Porky's Dam Platter (BBQ pulled pork, mashed potatoes, spinach, and mushrooms). Both came out quickly and were delicious. Service was great here at the bar. A good place for small and large groups. This place is also 4 min walking distance from a Stage Shuttle bus stop, even though it took my group awhile to find it. The bartender saw us at 12:30a and offered us a ride back to our condo, but we declined since we saw a bus was on the way. read more

Good food, good service. Don't go in expecting to be a quick and cheap stop. But overall, great spot.

Had a ribeye, flavor was good but it was not very tender. Garlic mashed potatoes were a little dry. Service was great and with the 30% off coupon it was a good deal. read more

Service and food were wonderful and affordable. Truly the best chicken fried chicken I've ever had, with great presentation and a unique twist. They don't advertise their kids menu, but it was a great place for my 5 year old nephew. The beer is award-winning and affordable, especially if you try their brewmaster's pick. In Denver, it might only get 4 stars, as this is NOT "as good as it gets", but for Dillon, you'll be hard-pressed to find anything better. read more

This is my favorite place to stop for lunch or dinner when we are on our way to and from our various mountain destinations. My kids love the "Dam" restaurant as they call it. We've had a bit of a wait at times, but not a big deal. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. The Dam Straight Lager is excellent, and so is the Dam Lyte. I have never been disappointed with the food either. Anything I've had is excellent. Yesterday, I had the grilled chicken with gorgonzola cheese over pasta and it was wonderful. My favorite burger is the Cortez burger and I like the fries, too. The chili lime salad dressing I had with my salad was wonderful, too. I also like the t-shirts and other souveniers for sale with the "Dam" theme. It's loud and fun, like a sports bar, but the food is 100 times better. read more

This is the best Dam meal we had all weekend! We stayed in Breck and Copper and this restaurant blew all of them out of the water. Get the pulled pork. You won't be sorry! read more

Dillon Dam Brewery is one of Summit County's better options for a burger and a beer. They offer a wide selection of toppings (we usually end up ordering a Zurich burger) on your choice of beef, bison, or veggie burger. Happy hour specials are worth checking out - discounted apps and pints. And the beer is great! Be sure to check out the seasonal brews! read more

My husband and I came here for dinner on our first night of our vacation! The restaurant has a fun atmosphere and had live music playing while we ate. It was ladies night when we went so I drank for free! Their beers were really good and the food was delicious! Needless to say we would return again on our next trip out! read more

This is hands down the best Chili I've ever had! The atmosphere is great and did I mention how great the Chili is! The hot drink selection is fantastic and fun, they really put some fun thought into their drink menu. I rarely go to the same restaurant twice on a trip but I did this time. What a fantastic experience! Can't wait to come back, I've been thinking about this Chili for the past year! !!! read more

Wow. We have been at Dillon Dam Brewery many times for food and fun. But today we stopped by for a 40th wedding anniversary drink and dessert. They were amazing. They gave us dessert compliments. Shane was so considerate to acknowledge us! Thank you, Dillon Dam Brewery. read more

Typical sports bar atmosphere - bunch of tvs with chronic music in the background. Mediocre food - probably Sysco sourced. Very salty. We will hit Prosit on the return leg read more

Solid beers - not as mainstream as Breckinridge or Great Divide in Denver, but better beer selection. Didn't have their ipa on tap, but their brown, imperial brown, and 'hoporter' (what it sounds like, close to a back ipa) we're all excellent. Extra pale and session ales worth a taste too. $2.75 happy hour pints, and $1.50 4 oz tasters all day. Just off of 70...stop in! read more

I wish I could give two reviews, one for beer which would be four stars and one for food/service which would be one star. For the good - good local beer, cute brewery restaurant and clean. For the bad, been here twice and both times the food has not been good, burgers are preformed and dry, chicken sandwiches are fatty, fries ok, lettuce wilted...service very mediocre. Last night had to wait 5 minutes after food was served for utensils and server gave us a beer sample in a cracked glass and when pointed out said "oh". Then at the end of our meal I went to use the bathroom and a bartender who just got off took my seat without asking if anyone was sitting there and just glanced at me when I came back to the table. Not a fan of this place and besides drinking the beer will never return to here. read more

Barely could find parking, walked into a 45min wait but thought it must be good if there is a wait and we were right! Happy hour specials were awesome can't beat a fresh draft for $3 while you wait for your table. Our server was so patient polite and informative. My boyfriend and I were very impressed. Appetizer, cowboy dip, hit the spot to share! Ghost burger was no joke! The burger was delicious but oh man did it pack some heat! Over all the beer was so fresh it definitely is in the running for best beer I've had and the food just as much. Great experience and will be back asap! Worth the wait by any means! read more

Just stopped here after hiking Mt. Quandary. Only had time for a quick brew and a bite. Ordered the wheat beer and the smoky chipotle wings. UH-MAZING. And I don't usually say that about anything. These were seriously probably the best wings I have ever had. Period. The beer was also top notch. Go here people. Just do it. read more

A regular stop for my wife and I whenever we visit Summit Co. They have a good variety of beer with consistent taste. Sweet George's Brown and Dam Straight Lager are two of our favorites. Their beer has appropriate taste for the type they are making. Most places these days appear to over-hop everything in order to appeal to the IPA crowd while Dam Brewery as resisted this trend. Food is good, and service has been consistently friendly. Although, during our last visit with I70 closed, and three of the employees were stuck on 70, our waiter still provided great service with a great attitude. read more

We took a break from driving across RT 70 and stopped in here for a beer and appetizers. The place was great ! They have multiple micro-brews on tap and the salads and appetizers we had were good and large enough to share. read more

This place was so cute. They have happy hour inside the bar area where you get half priced drinks and appetizers. I would recommend the toasted coconut ale (if they have it) it was awesome! read more
