Great selections of woman's clothing and shoes- sales are good and plenty in August. Customer service: deserves 1 star. the gals that work the floor upstairs are just plain mean. They don't help you unless you are carrying a $1200.00 bag- really? They work for min wage and get a few perks. they need to be reminded: THEY are the help!!! Store is always super clean and the jewelry section is well organized. Shoe dept. is a mess in the summer when sales start, shoes everywhere! Nice selection, but one of the employees offended me! When checking out I asked if they had a military discount, and the lady with a heavy Russian accent responded "No why should we!? If we gave them that we'd give everyone that." Don't get me wrong, I still shop at places that don't give military discounts, but to be so rude about it is not okay! After all, these brave men and women protect your rights to say ignorant things like that, maybe work on your respect? read more

Used to work at this dillards and the work life balance is horrible but everyone in here is very well trained and is customer service oriented at its finest. Roxanne did not hesitate to give me a call for pre sale and I went down there the same day and did my pre sale with her ! After buying some makeup from Mina Hamill in the Tucson Mall store, then walking out to the parking lot, I discovered that my car keys were missing. When I returned to the cosmetic counter, Mina spent quite a bit of time and effort helping me sort out where they might be. She called the lost and found twice, to no avail, and continued to offer help. Even though I never found them, I was duly impressed by the service Mina gave. She is a great employee. read more

I mean theres not much out here in TUCSON that sells good quality, high-end merchandise for resonable prices and to have a store like Dillards which has always been compaired to a high-end store like Nordstrom here and always has great sales and stylish merchandise is fabulous!! I went bday shopping for my daughter. A lot of department stores seem to be going down hill. Nice to see Dillard's is still maintaining their high quality looks and style. Although a few "perfume/make-up" staff did not ask if we needed anything as we were looking at their area. So we went somewhere else for make-up/perfume. Overall the clothing areas were nice and so were the staff and very helpful. read more

My daughter and I were here intending on buying many dresses for her for Christmas. We chose many and even took pictures of the dresses and had a great time. We were walking up and down the isles trying to find anybody, ANYBODY, to help us. We saw a young man and said hello and was starting to ask for help, but he kept walking and didn't stop to give us the time of day. My 4 year old daughter walked up to him and said hello. He again kept walking and didn't even respond. Absolutely disgusting behavior to a child. We would have spent ALOT of money. We spent $0.00. Thankfully Paul Guillum was working the next day. He was an absolute gem and his professionalism and thoughtfulness is the only reason we will still purchase from this store. read more

Twice in the past three days I have tried shopping at Dillards Tucson Mall, but no more. On the first visit, I needed help in the men's suit department, but the older salesman was much more interested in having a personal conversation with a clerk in the Daniel Cremieux department. No help at all. After 15 minutes of trying to help myself, I gave up. Headed over to men's shoes. Two clerks at the register saw me looking at various dress shoes, but also failed to acknowledge me. Wound up going over to Dillards Park Place where Sean offered his assistance immediately upon my entering the men's shoes area. Went back to Dillards Tucson Mall today, back to the men's suits... Spent 35 minutes going in and out of the fitting room trying to help myself, while another older salesclerk sent the entire time making small talk with a couple and their son. Never even greeted me. Drove up the road to Jos A Bank and was assisted as soon as I walked through the door. Lousy, lousy customer service at Dillards Tucson Mall. read more

While the merchandise selection is great, the dressing rooms & ESPECIALLY the women's restroom are beyond filthy! Two sinks had gross brown murky water standing in them. Both had "out of order" signs up. The floor is filthy w/spots of missing tile.For what is supposedly an upscale dept store these issues are inexcusable-where is management? read more

I absolutely love all the employees at this Dillard's. I've been to other Dillard's in the past where women just take one look at my tattoos and sneer at me. In fact, I didn't even like to shop at Dillard's for that very reason, & gave up going to them until I found this one. They have been so kind and helpful, and it almost feels as if I have family there when I go. The awesome lady at the perfume counter upstairs even went out of her way to ask how my business trip went and gave me a hug. Everyone I have met there has gone above and beyond my expectations to be helpful, kind and even entertaining - I go alone and it feels like I'm shopping with my girlfriends! There are at least 7 truly awesome employees I've had the pleasure of working with, at this location. For the rest of you to be complaining about this place, well maybe you just met the ONE wrong person in the store? Either that, or maybe you're just a sour, rude customer who doesn't treat employees like human beings, I don't know... Anyway, keep up the good work, Dillard's! Love you ladies. read more

Nancy at the sunglasses counter- first and foremost, I walked in with about $500 in my pocket, I received some ray-bans for Christmas and I just made it to town to receive them- I was told by who gifted them to me, if I wanted I could look at Dillard's and exchange- OBVIOUSLY I would gladly pay the difference in price. Nancy not only looked at me and treated me as if I might not be able to afford designer sunglasses, but was EXTREMELY unhelpful. Even at the end of me discussing the $120 difference to what I might be exchanging for! Because I have tattoos, because I might be gay???? Not sure- Nancy not only lost this sale, but I may never buy any affordable luxury items from Dillard's EVER! If I was to judge, I might based on her clearly Home-Colored frizzy hair and Walgreens runny eyeliner, what credentials could she possibly have to sell designer eye ware- tisk tisk Nancy- poor customer service! read more

The Dillard's store at Tucson Mall is the most run-down Dillard's store I've visited. The carpeting in the ladies clothing section and fitting rooms is filthy and worn out. I told the sales associate about the carpeting and she suggested I write to the head office because she said people complain all the time, and say that they don't want to take their shoes off to try on clothes, but no-one listens to the sales associates. The whole store needs to be updated. Go to the Dillard's at Scottsdale Fashion Center or any other location and you will see what I mean. read more

I had an appointment with shiseido staff for cosmetics service because the staff offered to make appointment one weeks ago. So I made plan for my weekend and went to their window on time without makeup. They called to me for remind and made sure today's appointment few hours ago. When I arrived there, nobody availavle and said comeback 30min later.I had more schedule so I canceled the appointment and left. They called to me few min later and said you can comeback. I went to there again. They were not available again. I waited 10 min then I left. I need to ask, if they can't manage customers appointment, Please don't take appointments. They were rude.also.I have used shiseido products 25years but this is first bad experience. I'm not appliciate their service. I wil try other shiseido next time. read more

I am recovering from a broken ankle and am confined to a wheelchair. My grandson is getting married soon and I wanted to buy a new dress. I was quite sure that I could find what I wanted at Dillards. My husband was pushing me with difficulty on the carpet. A sales associate, Rosalee asked if we needed help - I replied YES. She asked what I wanted to buy and really listened to what I said. She collected a number of outfits and then found some more for me to try while I could sit in the dressing room .I had many choices which I narrowed down. I am very happy with the outfit I purchased. I thanked Rosalee and told her that she had made my day. It was so refreshing to be helped by such a competent employee. read more
