You'll have more boutique and locally owned businesses, or the big Dillards, Sephora. They are building a Dick's Sporting Goods here and a ramen place! And I think this is the only place that has Cheesecake Factory, Savage by Fenty, and Lush. So, it's not bad! We've come here often enough that it's better than the malls closest to us and the outlet, imho. There's plenty of parking, but because of the construction, you'll want to park in certain areas.

The variety of stores seem to be getting lower and poorer. The Galleria use to advertise, "Where the Best Stores put their Best Stores". Now when I stroll the mall, I'm lucky if I see a familiar branded store. I basically only come for two stores now. I shop the Apple Store, which I am surprised is still located in the mall. I would have expected them to depart to a strip center somewhere else in the metro area. The other store I frequent is Tommy Bahama, but I don't shop there as often as I use, too. I can now just go on line and have it shipped to my home. My most recent visit, I could see the wear and tear of the Galleria and a desperate need for repairs and maintenance. As long as Apple remains a tenant, I'll keep coming back.

We were surprised to see that there doesn't seem to be a dedicated last act area, but the last act items are scattered throughout the floors in the different clothing sections. This makes it a little harder if you're specifically looking for off-season items and deals. We came in within the last hour and a half before closing time, and parked in the garage. Even though they made announcements about closing the doors, they blocked the doors earlier than the announcement stated. This made it very difficult to figure out how to actually exit the building, and then required of walk outside around the building to get to the garage in the dark. When I inquired about the doors, a worker told me that they closed them off early because if they don't, they get people running in through the garage entries close to closing time to grab merchandise and dash.

So when I arrived, I browsed through the different counters looking for certain brands, so I could sample them and pick out a favorite. Working on commission, the ladies selling the fragrances were constantly asking to assist me, when I asked questions or told them what I was looking for, if it wasn't their product, their attitude changed. In fact, I can say most of the clerks were snobbish and prof of why department stores are dying a slow death. Fragrance is really something I do not want to buy on line without smelling it first, but with the service I got today, I may take the risk.

Whether by car or Metrolink, it's literally a straight line out and back. Every time I'm here, it reminds me why this stretch has such a loyal following, because it's one of those places where you can land with no plan at all and still end up having a great time by just letting the street carry you along. The food scene here is the big draw, with a mix of global options that all seem to go together. From shawarma to ramen to tacos and yes, diner comfort food without breaking stride. The storefronts flip from quirky to arty and classic that keeps the walk interesting. Mini golf and bowling, too! Two unique things that make the Loop uniquely the Loop are the Planet Walk and the Saint Louis Walk of Fame. The Planet Walk is a scale model of the Solar System that stretches a half mile or so along Delmar mapping out the distances between the planets. And alongside this, the Walk of Fame runs along with stars honoring famous Saint Louisians (Saint Louisans?) set into the sidewalk. It's fun to spot names you know and names that are new to you. Chuck Berry. Maya Angelou. Tennessee Williams. Nelly. The Loop is named for the Loop Trolley. It launched in 2018, hit some operational and funding issues, and ended service in 2023. I'm bummed that I missed the opportunity to ride it. Maybe it returns one day? But even without the Trolley, the Loop is one long ribbon of activity. Accessible, diverse and consistently entertaining. It delivers exactly what you want from a neighborhood. [Review 440 of 2026 - 509 in Missouri - 25623 overall]

The employee started yelling at me that this location did not have a self checkout option. I asked why several people around me were able to scan their groceries and she said they pay $12 a month for that option in the app. In what world does it make sense to pay $12 a month to scan your own groceries?!? I know that part is not under the employee's control but her attitude is. They need to consider putting her in a different part of the store where she is not so customer facing... I gladly took my items and went to a checkout counter several aisles away where a cashier greeted me nicely and was super prompt. In the background, I continued to hear the banshee in the scan and go counter yelling at other customers that "this location does not have self checkout." Maybe better signage is needed...

Today they canceled an order that I made yesterday that was supposed to be delivered today. They told me the money would be back on my gift card within three hours, but it hasn't been put back yet. Also, I would never buy fresh meat from them as I order online I am not sure they are giving me the freshest meat or something that is already several days old. I do order from them because it's convenient and there are a lot of cashback offers from Ibotta connected with Walmart, however I've had so many problems with them lately. I'm thinking of looking for a different store. I don't like their politics and I don't like targets politics, which makes it tough to get something at an affordable price from a store that doesn't contribute to a government that doesn't care about the people of America.. I do give them four or five for convenience, but lower number for consistency of product.

It took 30+ mins to determine that. The associate was not very bright and I had to explain it several times. Then she informed me she couldn't do it. When I voiced my displeasure, she told me - not "sorry you got the wrong info on the phone," - but that the person who told me that info was probably new. Then proceeded to counter everything I said with something about herself. Oh she also complained about helping me find stuff and was super sarcastic and rude upon my exit. Here's a tip: want to be in customer service? Lose the bitchy attitude and narcissistic tendencies to talk about yourself when a customer has a problem. Don't visit this location.
