I love this store, but one of the major put offs for walking in is the fact that every time I want to simply browse and look at items myself, I get an overzealous employee wanting to pick out more clothes for me and it turns into an unsolicited personal shopper experience where they are constantly checking in with me even while I'm dressing, and I feel super pressured to purchase multiple items. There's nothing wrong with this service at all if a customer WANTS it, but it's a little much for me. For me personally, I haven't really liked the style or the fit of the clothes they pull for me anyway, and by the time I go through with trying the selections to appease them, I usually feel uncomfortable letting them know I won't be purchasing the items. I would feel so much more comfortable if they left me alone to shop or let me come to them for styling advice. It just feels super aggressive. I have a particular sense of style and knowledge of what looks flattering on me so I want to go there to shop and choose for myself, not to try on what they pick out for me while having them checking in on me the whole time when I didn't ask for it. read more
