I was working with my associate, Lori; however, I was inquiring about a product that was more in the scope of Tracy. Lori attempted to engage Tracy's knowledge and not only did Tracy disrespect Lori, she disregarded me as a customer of Saks. I wanted a particular Kilian fragrance and Tracy did confirm that the one I wanted had been discontinued to Lori. I then addressed Tracy inquiring if there was one similar to my original inquiry. Tracy said yes and proceeded to walk in the direction of the Kilian counter. She then abruptly turned around and said "you all can go over there and find it." To be clear, she was not working with anyone at that time, so we were not keeping her from another customer and after saying her last comment, she went right back to looking on her phone. She was totally dismissive to me and had it not been for Lori standing there, I would have let Tracy know in that moment how ridiculous behavior was. As a long time customer of Saks, I know that your associates are not trained to behave in such a manner. Makes me wonder if I was Caucasian if she would have reacted differently. There are far too many options of where I can spend my money that sell the same items, if this behavior is acceptable then maybe I need to go elsewhere. This interaction reduced my rating; however, please know my associate Lori is a 5 star and beyond.

That being said, clothes here are definitely on the pricier end (shorts for $36, tops $50s, dresses from $70-120s) but the dresses are really good quality. There is a section towards the back that is clearance/sale where you can find stuff significantly marked down (from $78 down to like $30). However these are often XS or XL sizes.

Neither day did we have one person helping us. The first day, I ask the manager who our consultant was bc the girl we were "assigned to" wasn't helping us at all. The manager stepped in and helped some until another consultant step in later. The second day, "our consultant" seemed to be helping at least 4-5 girls and we only checked on very minimally of those girls. The whole experience was overwhelming because without some guidance, you don't know where to look for dresses that have the features you want, in the size you need. Another thing was most of the dresses without bling were smalls so for a girl that even was a little bigger, you couldn't get a feel of what the dresses looked like.

If you haven't checked this store out, you are missing some fun clothes, especially for summer. This review will focus on two visits in particular. The first visit was last fall when I was shopping for a purple top to wear to my college homecoming. I went in and shared with the associate what I was looking for. She immediately showed me a couple of items that were more lilac in color. When I told her it needed to be deeper and darker in color, she asked me to give her a moment and she'd be back. She scurried off to the stockroom and came back with the perfect item. One of Tommy's half-zipped sweatshirts had just arrived in a shipment and she found it. As I was excited about the color, she was excited to share with me how I can remove the label and the sweatshirt would be reversible. I giggled and I told her, I already knew that as I had two other colors already at home. Still, she provided top notch service. Second most recent visit was during Friends & Family Sale. I always love 25% off. I had seen a stripped linen shirt I loved in an earlier mailing. So I could find it or describe it to a sales associate, I took a picture of it from the catalog. When I showed them what I was looking for, they informed me they no longer had it in stock, but they check with other stores. While I shopped and selected a fun silk shirt with martini glasses on it, they found my shirt at Mall of America. I still get the 25% off both shirts, and I wasn't charged shipping for the one and I had within less then a week. Again, I applaud their customer service.
