Pamela S. was extremely rude to me twice in one day!! I was making a return and she told me that I couldn't return my item because I had to go to Nordstrom to make the return. I informed her that customer service told me I could go to any location. She denied my return and pointed into the direction of Nordstrom and stated that I need to make the return there in a rude manner. She look at me in an awkward fashion. I called customer service once again and explained my situation. Customer service was unsure why this location would turn down my request to return an item that I ordered and actually picked up this Nordstrom Rack. So I called this location and the manager if I could in fact return my item at this location. She was Amazing! I explained my order and situation was seen like the third and gave her my name. I drive up to Nordstrom Rack, and who do I get to do the same return?!? Yep, Pamela S. I told her I needed to make this return. She yelled out, "Is this the same shoes!?" I said yes. She tells me once again to go to Nordstrom! I informed her, once again that customer service said I can in fact return these here. She grab the shoes, mumbles something under her breath about a manager. I quickly tell her, I spoke to the manager and she did in fact say I could return this item here. So after a few minutes, she comes back and says nothing to me. She does the return but literally says nothing. I am thinking at this point, this woman hates to admit she was in the wrong. I happened to look down and see my email address pop up on the pin pad. She hand me the receipt and I said thanks. I almost asked for apology but I could she her gaining a bigger attitude. This was my first time purchasing from Nordstrom. I normally just purchase directly from the brand itself, but they were sold out. Pamela S. made this situation so much worse for me. Her attitude was not needed as someone who works in customer service. If she would have been kinder the situation would have been manageable. Yeah so district manager commented on last review. I see nothing has changed with plus size clothing. The few items i found wouldnt even fit half a rack. Then no one on sales fkoor but 3 people behind counter and only one was waiting on a customer the other two were talking and not paying attention to anyone else. Nordstrom Rack is a great place to stop while out shopping. Items in the store can have significant savings off of list prices. Jewelry is always a fun place to begin. I have purchased several pairs of Kate Spade, Kendra Scott, and Nadri earrings at the Rack. Some of my favorite finds have been Jack Roger and Cole Haan shoes. Makeup deals are worth a look through. I have found Smashbox, Urban Decay, and Laura Mercier Makeup and great prices at this location. Other stand outs are athletic wear, housewares, and purses. The Nordstrom Rack Website is great. Website purchases can be returned to this store. The check out process can take longer than the hunt to find an item. Several times I have run in to buy a present, jumped in line...only to wait and wait. The registers themselves don't seem to be the fastest, and always seem to be causing stress to the employees. read more

Always has great little finds in casual, outer wear, active, shoes, home, and accessories. I find the coolest shades here and love the Nike Dri-Fit socks because they have them cheaper than major retailers. Shoes can be hit or miss when it comes to sizes but there's a great variety. I prefer this location in the StL area. I feel like it's always a little less crowded and the selection is still great. The parking lot is also less of a headache in comparison to the other location. The BF and I stop in here from time to time to checkout what's new in stock regarding their shoe selection. And it's usually pretty hit-n-miss, like most places. We have found several pair of shoe's here though to our liking and at GREAT prices!!!!! It's a convient location for me and I like to go when I notice the parkign lot isn't full when we're going to either Costco, Walmart or Petsmart.Hmmmmmmm. Then as I glance at the clothes on our way to the shoes I'm puzzled by the offerings sometimes. I've noticed they carry "It's a 10" hair care products which I like. I like the men's wear selection for the BF. The customer service at the checkout counter is cool. I've never checked out their selection of purses. I go straight to Nordstrom's for that. read more

Super expensive, I can buy all this stuff cheaper at the department store. Don't really have much that I was interested in. There are the usual cute things, but nothing too exciting. Shoes are always spendy...I don't think i found any worth buying. Clothes are generally the same as those in Brentwood. I will not be driving all the way here to do shopping in the future. They do have the new check out feature where you can check out with a sales person while shopping by the racks of clothes. They will even print out a reciept for you! That's neat. Also, the sales people are generally friendly, but somewhat clueless on what their store offers. boo! read more

This Nordstrom Rack is proof that bigger is not always better. This NR is larger then the one on Brentwood, but lacks in selection that the smaller one has near The Galleria. I also, did not like the floor plan. It lacked the easy flow that the Brentwood location has. However, this location had a staff that was friendlier and more helpful. I was shopping for summer short sleeve cotton shirts to go along with some of my solid colored shorts. A man can only wear so many Polo shirts. The selection here was not that good and the prices really were not any better then a sale price at the regular Nordstrom or Macy's. I finally did find a pink madras one that will go great with my pink shorts. For my Rack shopping, I will continue to be a supporter of the smaller Brentwood store and let this bigger store for the west county patrons. read more

Ugly is as Ugly does! I have not been in a Nordstrom Rack for like 20 years, let alone the real Nordstrom's. I remember the Rack as having clothes that actually came from the main store to be clearanced out. I still kick myself for not buying a St. Johns Knit for $150 when I was lucky enough to find it. Well, I don't feel to bad now, it would not have fit anymore. Today, I stopped in on impulse. Nothing but the word "ugly" pursed through my lips as I flipped through the myriad of rounders filled with ugly stuff (imho). I ran to the shoes- more ugly. I like to pop my head into The Rack every now and then just to see what they have in stock. Shopping at at Nordstrom Rack is almost like shopping at a thrift store...it can be hard to find what you're looking for, sizes are a gamble, and service is meh. You really have to dig and know what you are both looking for and at. This one has a pretty good selection of men's clothes. I would highly recommend going here for a major discount on great shoes, ties, dress shirts, accessories, and athletic wear. This list is pretty solid in terms of reliability. Everything else is up in the air. I've had good luck with casual wear before but it's unlikely. I'm a pretty picky shopper so that could be part of it. Good hunting! read more

One of the things that made me feel better about moving out to the county was being close to a Nordstrom Rack. Yes, I'm a shopaholic and I need a weekly fix, but I'm also obsessed with finding great deals, so buying items at full-price is a personal no-no. Having shopped at the Brentwood location prior to moving, I was a little disappointed in the Manchester location selection. There is def less to choose from, although they carry most of the mainstream brands. One of the downsides to lack of selection is also lack of sizes. As someone obsessed with sunglasses, they don't seem to carry a lot of designer brands like Fendi or Gucci, but they seem to have plenty of lower price options. As someone also obsessed with shoes, I can appreciate they seem to carry a wide variety of sizes but again, the selection seems smaller than Brentwood. However on a positive note, this store is not as much of a zoo as Brentwood. In response to all the reviewers disappointed in price points, please note that to find a REALLY great deal (i.e. clearance section), you do need to be patient and sort thru the racks. I've scored some really great deals when I've had time to browse, but I also don't have major expectations when I come into the store bc you really never know what's available that day. P.S. I've found that Nordstrom Rack is a really great place to score designer jeans if you can find your size! read more

I am so excited that I have Nordstrom Rack available to me within a decent driving distance. I love going here and can always find something awesome. They have all the brands that you would want to shop for for others. Betsey Johnson, Stilla, Too-Faced, Cole Hahn, Fossil, etc. etc. I believe you have to shop here frequently to really find the things you want and the stuff moves quickly......I just purchased some fabulous Christmas gifts....they had super cute scarves, mittens, and hats by Smart Wool and I saved $$$$......They have an awesome selection of watches, shoes, socks, ---my only wish is that they had more home stuff very slim selection of sheets, pillows and that kind of stuff....but hey I love what they do have....oh yeah and the sales clerks have always been above and beyond nice to me.....two snaps to you Nordstrom Rack and a swirl... read more

Some things are still kinda pricey (like bigger name designers) but it's all MUCH cheaper than shopping at the regular Nordstrom. This is an okay Nordstrom Rack, I think it's slightly a step below the selection in the one in Brentwood, but that's ok. Here's the lowdown on this Rack. It recently opened in the giant shopping complex that houses Wal-Mart, Ulta, Carter's and Sam's Club just east of the highway and across the street from Uncle BIll's Pancake House in West County. The size of the store is bigger, and it has more space to spread its merchandise around - it also gives more space to the men's section (always the afterthought in everyone's mind for department stores), so that's a plus. All this being said, I don't think the selection is quite as good as other Racks I've visited, but honestly, it seems to change every time I'm at the Rack. Sometimes it's a treasure trove of good finds, other times everything's a miss. This one looked okay at time of visit. But that's beside the point as the first time I came here I came on a mission: I'd received a pair of sunglasses from Nordstrom Rack as a birthday present, but they turned out to be crooked and no amount of adjustments could get them to sit straight (believe me, I tried). So, I was on a mission to find the perfect replacements, and lucky for me, this Rack had a good selection to choose from. After much debate, I found the right ones and made an even swap. Nice deal. With no push back at all, the staff took back the glasses and swapped them out for the new ones. Nice! Good job Rack, I may come back to visit the next time I'm in town. read more

I was so excited when I heard they were building a Nordstrom rack across from me but was quickly disappointed. I had been to several other Nordstrom racks in different states and had luck finding designer clothes that I loved for a steal. This Nordstrom rack isn't much better than a TJ Maxx in my eyes with higher prices. The designers there weren't my favorite and the customer service was no where near the service I've received in a normal Nordstrom store. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Anyone who says they cannot find deals in here or cannot afford anything is just impatient. It is Nordstroms... things will still not be very cheap, but they will be a lot cheaper than they should be. Most recently I picked up a pair of Gordon Rush Boots that retailed for 375 dollars for 89 dollars. That's a pretty darn good deal in my book. The only boots you can find for less than 80-90 dollars will be low quality boots that will hurt your feet, and probably will fall apart. I also saw a cashmere sweater I almost bought. Retail 260, on sale for 49. Would have bought it, if my sister was there to try it on. Wasn't sure if it was too short or not. Oh, and a hot tip, this place is the absolute best place to buy cedar shoe trees. Every time I buy a pair of shoes, I get a pair of shoe trees for them, so they last a long time, and smell nice. Most places are 20-30 dollars a pair for these shoe trees. Nordstrom Rack usually has them for 10-13 dollars. read more
