Went there the other day as it was referred to me by a friend, cute clothes, not for the cheap quality and a shirt I see on SHEIN for 8 dollars being 41 dollars there. As soon as a walked in i felt the negative energy from the two workers there, they eyed me down and were whispering about me as if I couldn't hear them, I had my work clothes on still, I work at twin peaks, so I guess bashing my appearance is cute to them. I'm probably never going back there, I wouldn't mind spending near 50 dollars on cheap quality stuff if the staff wasn't mid life crisis 35 year olds with bad attitudes and gossiping issues. read more

I've always shopped at splash here and there for at least 10 years. Today I walked in to return a dress that I had bought a few days prior along with a second dress and shoes(return for full refund must be within 5 days). I was accused of wearing the dress out and that it had smelled like food... the manager then held the dress to my nose in which I could confirm that it had literally not smelled like food whatsoever. I was treated very poorly. I argued it and eventually got my refund but I will NOT be returning. There's plenty other stores online and in-store with cuter clothes and better customer service. read more

The store itself is absolutely beautiful and I love the clothes! It's definitely too pricey for me (swimming suit top alone cost $98). One thing that bothered me was when my friends and I were looking through the clearance, the staff wouldn't take their eyes off of us. Not once did they take their eyes away from our direction, and they even walked over closer when we got out of their sight. Splash and I have a love hate relationship. I love to browse this local store, but I'm not a fan of the seriously expensive prices they slap on their clothing/accessories. .As a whole, Splash sells dresses, shorts, jeans, pants, bikinis, accessories, shoes, and more. If you're looking to put together a cute outfit for a night out, you'll probably find something here. I do really like the dress selection, but I just never can bring myself to spend $300 on one. Splash does carry some somewhat high end clothing, but most dresses are not under $200. And Jeans, those are almost never under $80 and most are probably $200. If you are like me and would like to find a bargain, you MIGHT find one if you shop their sale. I've found some cute things on sale from time to time, but it's very rare. Although I do like the idea of supporting a local store, I also do not support breaking the bank every time I walk in. It's really too bad they're expensive, but I guess it's not really much more expensive than Nordstroms. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean. It appears as though they are adding new businesses to that strip mall, so I am excited to see what else comes in. read more

I went here with a friend today, looking for swimwear and clothing for an upcoming trip. The employees were quite rude, didn't even say hello or ask what we were looking for. No offers of assistance of any type. This in comparison to all of the other great stores in this plaza, where people actually greet you and ask if you need anything , or inform you of sales or new inventory, is just bad business. We get it, you are cool, maybe too cool to make any commission. I spent 8 years in retail, that's not how you treat customers. I don't think we will be returning. Nice clothing, horrible customer service. Update: after this review the owner contacted me via Yelp and asked to speak with me to directly apologize for my bad experience. I found her to be sincere and apologetic. She definitely went the extra mile to make sure my next experience was a pleasant one. And it was! I went here today to try to find a cute outfit for a night out. I picked out several different tops and shorts and tried them on. I was having trouble finding outfits that looked good on me. I was getting a bit frustrated because the staff was helping literally everyone in the other dressing rooms BUT me. I walked out of the dressing room with the top I wanted and the snooty salesperson gave me a rude smirk because she knew I was so dissatisfied. She didn't help me whatsoever and I even went out of the dressing room to grab my own pair of jeans because she was useless. Next I make my way to the register to check out. There is a line of people in front of me. When I get to the register the lady asks me numerous times if I know the return policy and if I am in the computer as a previous customer. I find it hilarious that she did not repeatedly ask the same questions to the girls in front of me. Maybe I don't have a pair of grey goose sneakers or my daddy's credit card, but I work damn hard for my money and when I wanna spend it, I spend it. I would suggest Splash works on being a bit more inclusive to all customers, instead of contributing to young girls' body dysmorphia, and treating them like we're different. I'm paying just like everyone else, and you are, in fact, working behind the counter, not me, so I would really appreciate some common courtesy. I will never be shopping here again. 0/10. read more

It's just okay. The clothes they have are totally adorable, and I don't expect it to be any cheaper than it is, but the salespeople are kind of snotty. Splash has always been a place I go to for dresses however I purchased two dresses seven days ago (the return policy is 10 days) and when checking the dates it seemed she assumed it would be past the 10 days. While standing there I tried to talk to her about the day I purchased the dress because she had been interested and very helpful, yet today she brushed me off as any old customer and said "yeah.. I don't really know" with a tone showing she didn't care. This only bugs me because for some of the high prices of items in the store I would expect exceptional customer service. I feel disappointed in my experience today as I was just stopping in on my Sunday for a quick return and she made me feel like a burden. read more

Best shopping experience! The customer service is so friendly in this gem of a shop and I love supporting a local business. As a former East Coaster (NY) and West Coaster (LA) who has also shopped all over the globe, I'm pretty well-versed in the high-end labels like Nightcap, Stone Cold Fox, Mother denim and the like but I love learning about new labels when I shop here. The price point and selection is great as well. Joni definitely has a discriminating eye because I'm very picky! I love Splash and you can always find a deal...but the staff is generally not friendly and the young girl workers literally stalk the dressing rooms. They may you feel uncomfortable while trying on clothes. It's hard to carry on a conversation without feeling like they are hearing your every word. I was very disappointed with my experience at Splash. We are going on a cruise and my daughter needed a bathing suit. I thought this would be the perfect place for a teenager to get some guidance on finding the perfect suit. Not so. We were told they were very busy with a shift change, and there were some suits "over there". The staff was remarkably unhelpful even when we asked about specific items, and the practically naked salesgirl, while lovely, was completely unprofessional. We will not be back. Sorry. read more

Awesome experience. My daughter and I were running late to shop for a dress. We weren't rushed by the staff...they suggested quite a few dresses to try on and even brought shoes to try just to see how the dresses would look with the right shoe (not flip flops like my daughter had on). Time got away from us and before I knew it was 7:40 when my daughter selected a dress...40 minutes AFTER the store closed. Not only was the owner still there helping, but so was one of her staff. Great place to get swimsuits all year round. But don't get it twisted you will break the bank. Think of it as a high end boutique. Definitely located in the right area. They have really cute clothing as well. I always find cute things here but still wind up leaving empty handed and feeling like a bum. I can afford to shop here but wouldn't be able to buy anything else for the next 6 months. From anywhere!!!! It's a nice place to go and splurge if you need a new bikini for an upcoming trip. I grew up in St. Louis and always remembered Splash being very over-priced with rude, unhelpful staff. However, I decided to stop in Splash on a recent visit back home and all I can say is wow! This store is completely different from what I remembered! The selection was great and the service was amazing! Both of the girls working that day were extremely helpful and friendly. I never write reviews, but felt the need to write this one. With some exceptions, I love the selection of clothes and accessories at Splash. But, what stands out more than what is being sold, is the customer service. It is BEYOND unacceptable. Consistently. Bored, lazy, passively and outwardly rude are the kindest descriptors that I can use. It was truly painful to hand my money over to people who are so exceptionally awful. read more
