We specifically requested light blue dresses and no lace, yet she repeatedly brought navy, silver, several other colors and lace that we had already said we were not interested in. It felt like our preferences were being ignored entirely. The customer service was also lacking. While trying on dresses, she would simply toss the next dress into the fitting room while I was still changing. When I finally had a dress to on, she was unable to zip it- stating she broke her hand over a year ago and thankfully the family members who came with me were able to help. Because of the poor service and limited selection, we ended our appointment early and called another store, which thankfully was able to fit us in the same day. After driving two hours based on Mimi's advertising, the experience was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend Mimi's to anyone shopping for a Mother of the Bride dress. There was another person in the store who used their flight waiting on their suit to be shipped over as well. They have cool styles but incompetent employees who don't seem to care. I found my dress elsewhere because I felt 100x more comfortable at the other places. While we were trying on dresses, another bride was at the counter. She was nervous and upset because her wedding was in 4 weeks and her dress hadn't even arrived yet. That is scary on its own. The manager was literally yelling at the bride and we could hear everything. It was SUPER unprofessional. Our stylist even apologized... the bride said to us "do not buy here". We listened to her, obviously we do not want to go through that if we have issues too. The bride was in a crunch and literally showed up at our next appointment - she bought a different dress at the other shop. Like I mentioned - our stylist was friendly, but I don't even remember her name. We didn't connect. I felt comfortable at the other places and got to know the stylists and had conversations with them.
