This was basically our first stop right out of the gate when we got off the plane bc I needed to get essentials for my baby that we knew we weren't going to pack bc we could buy them here. So, I was easily able to find some meals, bottled baby food, baby food squeeze packs, diapers and wipes as well as a few other bath-time things for her. What I didn't find was the safety seat we had to buy bc the rental car company gave us the wrong size (too big) for our daughter so we had to purchase one. Two of the cheaper options weren't on the shelves and I couldn't find an associate to check in the back for me. It's in a very busy shopping center with dozens of other stores around so it was buzzing around 2pm when we arrived there on a Friday. I love Target and the consistency across states is comforting for finding trusted brands. Overall, a positive expiernece here, as expected. read more

I came in here to browse and see if I could find some great buys! Store was well lit and the busiest parking lot ever in a strip mall in my opinion. I found a cute cocktail candle and a new drink that is being advertised Sprite +Tea. This target is so terrible, not only are the shelves empty but they are just flat out dirty, rusty, messy. Nearly every aisle had stuff that didn't belong. There were groups and groups of teenagers just hanging out, and trash was everywhere. We made it halfway in and just walked out. Vowed to never visit this location again read more

This Target is awful. I cannot believe that it is this messy. I would like to say this doesn't happen very often but that wouldn't be true. Their management needs to make some serious staffing changes. There were clothes and hangers tossed all over the place. You couldn't even look at some of the racks because there were so many clothes lying around. They pack way too many pieces into the racks. It's the Target I most often shop when in Saint Louis. The area is packed with other businesses so expect busy all the time. Parking has not been an issue at their massive surface lot. The store is kept pretty tidy and organized. However during college move in week is chaotic. But this is no surprise to anyone that's moved a college kid into a dorm. It's hit or miss on finding items and I've had to go to other Targets to get what I needed. Something unique for me being from VA is they have bourbon. The most frustrating aspect is customer service which lacks at most Targets. They are more concerned with stocking shelves than answering questions. Also the lack of service is evidenced by the self checkouts which are 90% it seems. I will be honest, I don't like them. Bottomline I like Targets wide selections, goods and prices. They have a few areas that annoys me, but they are better than the alternative. 3.5 rounding down. read more

The store is super disorganized. There's clothes on the floor everywhere and toys misplaced. I was using a gift card to pay in the self check out and the attendant walks by and then leaves. She comes back with a sticker and looks at my gift card and says "oh that's not what you're trying to do you should have done this and press this" I didn't want to be rude but if she would have just spoken to me and asked she would have known that's I was trying to pay with it and not activate it. While she was walking back she was stopped by someone who asked "excuse me ma'am can I .." assuming she was going to ask for help the attendant stops her from talking by putting her finger up and walks away. read more

The store was busy, but the lines moved fairly quickly, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I had a couple of questions about where to find certain items, and the employees were quick to point me in the right direction. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that a few aisles were a little crowded, which made it tough to shop leisurely. At the end of the day I was able to pick up the Christmas gifts for my kiddos. So glad to have that done. I refuse to get caught up in the last minute chaos. read more

I placed an order for store pick up in the Brentwood Target in St Louis, MO. I went to the store after I received an email saying my order was ready for pick up. However, the cashier said my order was canceled after she scanned my bar code. I was so mad because then I received another email said my order was successfully picked up and they have charged me!! Don't shop at this Target; you will get nothing when the store cancels your order without any notification. What's even worse, you will still be charged and you have to spend another 2 hours on the phone with online customer service to get your money back. I will never shop at Brentwood Target again! read more

This Target location has got to be the worse one I've been to but it is the most convenient for me. The parking lot is a nightmare (IYKYK). The Drive Up is so awful and the wait time is just ridiculous. One time, I waited 30 minutes and finally went inside. Not sure how they forgot about me as it was 9:00pm and the lot was empty. A worker was nice enough to give me a gift card for the inconvenience. But what really gets me is the consistently terrible customer service. Every time I do a return, there is always someone with an attitude. No one can ever be found on the floor to help. My pickup/drive up items are constantly out of stock. I probably stood there about ten-fifteen minutes before I gave up and did the rest of my shopping. As soon as I walked away I looked down one of the aisles and there he was, stocking items. So rude! Since I recently had an operation I tried the drive up at the target Brentwood Promenade. What a cluster. Every time there are products that I have purchased - that they told me were in stock - then i find out they are out of stock when I get to the store. So now I have to go to another store anyway to get the rest of the items. Today I sat in my car for 15 minutes and nobody came out - so I went inside to guest services and they said " oh, drive up is not working. Go stand in line to get your groceries." And even though the person to whom I was speaking was doing nothing but playing with her phone she did not attempt to help me at all. So I left. But the best is yet to come - when I got home, it turns out they had charged me for all of the groceries anyway. They registered my order as " picked up!" Done with this mess !! read more

Overall this Target is pretty clean, well stocked, and lines are very reasonable. Be aware it's in the notorious Brentwood square parking lot, the epicenter of half the car accidents in St. Louis. Try to come on a weekday as the parking lot is treacherous on weekends. read more

This is the worst Target I have ever been to! On multiple occasions I have found many empty shelves, and many disorganized messy ones. Gosh, I hate doing this because I'm sure the workers in the store are doing their best, but on my trip through today, I saw: stocking carts in every single aisle, most without employees beside them, making it hard to navigate with a cart; empty shelves and some shelves with mislabeled items; a snack pack of cheese/salami/crackers on an end cap which had clearly been there a while because the cheese had that sheen it gets when it's been sitting out 2+ hours; and a bunch of overripe bananas on a different store shelf. The women's bathroom was so filthy I was scared to pee in there, and I am not typically a picky person. But there was one stall taped shut with the little tags they use for handles for paper towels and another stall in which poo was flung up on the sides of the toilet bowl and seat, rendering it useless. The stall I ultimately used had a streak a poo on the seat, which I wiped off before sitting. Meanwhile, at peak Saturday shopping time, there were only 3 lanes open. Also, what kind of Target doesn't stock index cards, sriracha, or single serve jif peanut butters? Again, this is NOT about the workers, but rather about the management--is it better to keep wages low and have this pitiful level of cleanliness, or should you perhaps think about increasing wages to attract workers? read more

DO NOT ORDER CURBSIDE PICK UP FROM THIS TARGET!!!!! Most incompetent experience of my life. Their curbside pick up is a joke compared to every other target I've ever shopped at. Just tried to pick up two items for my sick baby while in St. Louis visiting my parents. First they canceled one of the items saying it wasn't in stock (they had 8 in stock 1 hr prior according to their app). So I had to go in and was magically found several of the item in stock. Their employee was clearly just too lazy to look for it. Meanwhile my sister was sitting in the car waiting for the curbside pick up. After THIRTY MINUTES I called the store and requested in store pick up customer service desk. No answer. Kept calling. No answer. Finally walked back in the store and went to the in store pick up and there are three employees sitting around on their phones laughing and chatting. I asked to get my curbside order. They were SO RUDE and tried to tell me that all of their staff called off. Strange how there were three people there doing literally nothing. One of them said they remembered packing my order. She clearly didn't look very hard for one of the two items! Went in today to make a return. The order did not come up on my Target account. I figured out it was bought thru the SHIPT app, which is owned by Target. I couldn't put my hand on the credit card I use on the SHIPT app. The customer service person was so RUDE. She asked me to step aside because she had more customers. I left. Got to the car and found the credit card. We went shopping elsewhere and came back later to try again. This time I was waited on by sweet Kylie. She had never done a SHIPT return, but she stuck with me, and we figured it out in just a few minutes. Kylie was great! Not like the older woman who waited on me earlier. So One Star for her rudeness and Five Stars for Kylie. She's a keeper. I hope the Customer Service and Store Manager read this review and correct the problem with the rude older woman. And give Kylie an acknowledgment for a job well done with patience and a smile. read more

This is the Target I often frequent in the area. Parking is a bit of a mess, although I don't consider it to be the fault of Target but more a location. There are tons of popular stores in the same shopping center. I've been here many times, and they are usually not very well-stocked. Some shelves are practically bare, and it isn't just the fault of the beer bug pandemic. Also, checking out is generally awful. If you can use self check-out, do it. The lines can be rather horrible. Bathrooms are always pretty clean. The store, well, it's hit or miss honestly. I would say the store itself is hit or miss whether it will be a wasted shopping trip or not. read more

The only down side with this particular location is the parking lot. ATROCIOUS cluster! Do yourself a favor...park far far away and walk to the entrance. I don't know why I continue to go here but I do. They are often out of a lot of their product, and it's usually chaotic. Tonight I went to pick up a few items, and when in the self checkout the pregnant lady ahead of me asked me to watch her cart full of bagged items, and before I could answer she immediately bolted. The target staff then came over and gave me a strange and rude look and asked me what I was doing and I told them what had just happened. Turns out the girl was trying to steal all of the items and was then trying to pin it on me I watched security chase her out the front door. this is a deserved FIVE stars to many employees of Target because of my potentially horrendous experience. This is on a Friday between 4:30-5:30 pm. i was in a big hurry to grab a flat iron. my husband dropped me off and waited in lot. i carried my larger RED purse. i grabbed a cart because I don't always walk well. after I paid i pushed my cart out the door but realized 'oh i don't really need this thing' and turned around and pushed the cart back inside the store. as we got out of the car at home, i looked down to grab purse and realized OMG where is it ?! I MUST HAVE LEFT MY RED PURSE DOWN INSIDE THE RED CART!! Heart sank realizing this could be a potential disaster as my WHOLE LIFE was inside that purse. we rushed back to Target as i also was on the phone trying to get a hold of someone and my husband had our bank number ready to cancel our cards too. we got back to Target before my call was answered, and the first employees i saw i, looking panic stricken, i was saying to anyone "red purse?!? red purse!?" first employee i said this to outside the store said "we have it!" oh my Lord!, A-FIB avoided! and as i made my way to customer service and security, i was still saying "red purse?". at least 15 others knew about it also. ! what a great bunch of employees. i could see they all cared. i could have hugged every one of them. !! what a relief. all items were in tact. thank you Target. have a great Christmas day read more

The parking lot for this whole shopping complex can be a little stressful to navigate. I have the Target Red Card so I get an extra 5% off but since the grocery section always seems to be poorly stocked I end up making a follow up trip to another grocery store right after. This is a very popular Target and convenient to get to if taking public transportation. read more

Bad parking situation and the customer service is not the best. Expect not to be helped when you do go through self check out and you can't do anything until a team member comes. I waited for 10 minutes while no one helped me. I just left and didn't purchase anything cause of how bad the experience is at this store.The parking lot is chaotic. It's a big lot but that's the problem. It only has two ways entrance and exits that become only one because of the countless amount of people leaving or coming in, so left turns are NOT your friend. This Target is awful. I have been here a few times and every time I've been, it has been a disaster. Tonight every single rack was jam packed full of clothes that didn't even belong there but if you barely touched anything like 6 shirts fell off the rack because it was so full. Their Christmas decoration selection is very slim. The dollar spot is not well stocked. Literally boxes and pallets everywhere, in between aisles, etc. It is fall/winter and Target recently released their jackets for the season and instead of having them in a nice area to go through, they were in the back of the swimsuit section with dozens of brand new jackets on the floor and falling off hangers. Honestly go to a different target. Trying to find anything in this one (clothing, shoes, decor, anything!!!) is like trying to find a specific article of clothing in one of those two story forever 21 stores. AWFUL. read more

I shop at this store fortnightly. It can be very busy during the day (especially weekends) with a cramped parking lot. It would probably be easier to get here at night, although the evening crew might give you attitude when you came in after 22:30. It is a clean store with clean bathrooms and super selection, but is consistently poorly stocked (empty spots on shelves) and groceries, fresh food are oddly organized. They are always running out of shopping baskets and random carts in every aisle. This Target needs to be better. read more

Dear Target, Is it really wise to feature an end-aisle clearance display loaded with rat poison and other pest killers directly in the middle of the pet food section? I think I'll be purchasing my Purina ONE elsewhere from now on. Sorry, but the opportunity for cross-contamination is simply too great. Remember, Target, our dogs are family members.
