I e been to this Sephora in the past. They have a lot of options even though it isn't the full store experience. The staff were nice and helpful and I got to use my Sephora gift card! Bonus! read more

Came here for one of their big sales and it was pretty crowded. That was expected because they had some great deals. The disappointing thing was they didn't have all of the registers open. I'm kind of surprised that during a big sales right before Christmas they didn't have every available register open. read more

JCPenney - JC Penney - Women's Clothing Near Me - St. Louis, Missouri

Came here to shop for my kids. It's a little hard finding stuff, including bathrooms. But, hey, it's a department store. I shop almost exclusively in the clearance section, and got some decent deals. Overall, a pretty average experience. read more

Horrible. They mixed up my information with another customer. The customer thought I was trying to scam them by ordering items. They filed a police report. When I called the customer service, 800-322-1189, option 1 and then option 3, the rep acted like he was listening to my concerns and then hung up. When I called again, I was redirected to Virtual assistance. Meaning the same person was at the desk. This happened on 11/1/2024 at 11.30 a.m. JC Penny needs to hire good reps who understand what customer serve means, i.e. listen and try to resolve the issue. read more

If I could do a negative 10 I would. Customer service is a joke. JCPenney is not the company it once was. I ordered two pairs of Puma sneakers. I received both in a plastic bag. One was in it's usual box the other wrapped in plastic. Needless to say the one wrapped up in plastic was all crushed and bend, not looking new at all. In fact looks like I got them from a flee market. Called customer service he says oh no problem take them to store for a return/refund. WHAT. So the whole purpose of ordering online is to avoid going to the store yes/no? Plus the stores don't ever have the size I ordered, which is why I ordered online. Also they were for a birthday present tomorrow. So thanks JCPenney. now I have two choices which aren't really choices for me #1 return . And not give my grandkid the one thing they wanted #2 give him these shoes that look like they're not new. PLUS where's the box? No read more

Not sure how this store has remained open all these years when better stores have closed. There is one right next to the Target store I shop at so I will go in occasionally just to waste some time and that describes every shopping experience I have had there. Their clothes are all ugly, juniors and womens both. The purses are ugly, even their pajamas are ugly. Whoever JCP hires as Buyers for their products needs to be replaced with people that actually have good taste. read more

I ordered a purse online and was told it would arrive on 3/3. The purse still hasn't arrived and I was told, before being hung up on, that the only way I could cancel and get my money back is going to the store. Otherwise I have to wait another 5 BUSINESS DAYS (even though they are open every day) to receive my merchandise. Did I mention I was hung up on and still don't have my money or the purse. read more

Color me surprised and color my friend happy. After shopping all the other major department stores and some very popular boutique stores with no success, I asked my friend if she want to try JCPenny. She said, she didn't care where it came from, as long as she found what she needed. My friend has tickets to the Kentucky Derby and we were searching for her dress to wear on Friday at the Kentucky Oaks. It is known the world over as the Derby's "sister race," this contest takes place the day before and celebrates the sport's finest filly racers. She already has her dress & hat for the actual Derby. If you've never been to the Derby, when you buy your tickets they come with a dress code. You especially have a dress code if you're in the really good seats. The Friday dress code, required that her dress be pink or have pink as a prominent color to celebrate the fillies. We also had to find a purse within the dimensions allowed. We found a dress, hat and purse all for under $125. What a deal. The service we received was friendly and professional. They young lady who processed the sale, totally impressed me. She was more attentive then some associates that work at a regular Nordstrom's. So give JCPenny's a chance next time you are shopping. You just may find what you're looking for and at a major savings. When: April 4, 2016 Why: Derby Attire for a friend read more

I ordered a couple of items to pick up at the South County store and after receiving an email notice that my order was ready, I drove to the store to do just that. Half of my order was missing. I thought the rest would be available in a few days. However, an email from JCPENNEY thanked me for picking up my entire order. I called customer service to verify, and was told to contact the actual store for information. The employees at the store found the rest of my order in a short time and I left happy. The young man who helped me was very polite and apologetic for the mixup. Good job JCPENNEY. read more

This review is because if the Sephora in this JCP! NO STARS!! Horrible, HORRIBLE! I'm NOT giving reviews based on the products - just this entire STAFF! Multiple times now, I've been ignored while being the only person or one of few, and I've witnessed others ignored! They give out FREE SAMPLES OF EVERYTHING, but make sure you don't ask the mean, rude, obese 40+ year old lady! I've spent HUNDREDS of dollars online the last few weeks (because NOONE will help me in the store, and I'm even a VIB card holder!), and I asked for a couple of a certain one, while my family & I were shopping in there today, and WITH OUT saying one word to me, she handed me one, and went back to doing NOTHING! My family and I walked out and will NEVER go back there! I'd give NEGATIVE stars if I could!! read more

If you have not been into a JCPenney lately you are truly missing out. Not only do the offer great coupons, they have some of the cutest clothes. This is a decent JCPenney's--they have a nice selection in the men's big and tall and also a Sephora inside...there were a ton of clothes on clearance I suppose to get ready for the new spring merchandise that will arrive soon....my only complaint is didn't see much help from associates on the sales floor----had trouble finding men's dress shirts in a larger size in big and tall--for some reason they were tucked away in a lone corner of the store with the other dress shirts--had to wait in line to find out where they were---and she pointed and explained vs. walking us over there which is the customary response to great customer service..... read more

If its made out of fabric, they sell it here. Clothes, shoes, purses, sheets, and curtains. This South County location does not offer electronics, hardware, or furniture. Their single level mall entrance does not have the customer walk through a maze of cosmetic counters. Due to legacy floor plans, the lower level is quietly located deep in the store by escalator or stairs and has a modest exits to the outside. That level is where children''s clothing is found. The store is more subtle than MaySees or Dills, I find picking many of my clothes here. Over time, their selection of men's wear has grown. The store gets 3-stars for its presentation and an extra star for my patronage and the discounts I have taken advantage of their. Useless trivia: Novelty T-Shirts are plentiful in design throughout the store.. They're fairly priced too. I picked one up. read more

This review is for the Sephora inside JCPs. I'm a fan of Sephora in general, mainly due to their return policy. They have a no-hassle return or exchange policy, so this is a safe haven for serial returners. I needed a new mascara, and the SA helped me find one that doesn't streak, smudge, flake, have a weird spiky wand or require a cosmetology degree to apply. The winner was Bad-Gal by Benefit. I have been to this location several times and the SAs are always nice and helpful. Very free with samples (love) but the store is small so the selection is somewhat limited. read more

Hadn't been to this JCP in awhile because I usually shop at a different mall. Ordered a swimsuit online and the info in my confirmation said it would be ready to pick up the next day. Went in a few days later to get it. The first thing I noticed was how filthy the entrance to the store was. There were food containers, spilled food, butts, and other trash all over the steps and entrance. Some of it had obviously been there for some time. Inside was not much better. I know the season is changing and they were moving a lot of merchandise around, but everything was so cluttered and crowded and just seemed dirty. Went to customer service to pick up the item. The clerk tried to put in my phone number at least 5 times and my order never came up. Finally another clerk had to show her how to login or something (I was not bothered by that, she seemed newish and not very well trained.) My order came up, but had been cancelled. What???? She said sometimes they cancel if the item is not available. I don't recall getting an email saying that. In fact, that day I had gotten one reminding me of my order. Overall a wasted, unpleasant trip. Will not be going to that store again any time soon. read more

I've always been a fan of JC Penney, but today I had one of the best retail experiences of my mall - going life. It was around 11 am and it was pretty busy but I was helped very quickly through the checkout line and the store was in pretty good shape considering retail shelves can get destroyed fairly quickly when busy. They have a ton of sales. I was stoked a dress I was looking at that was originally 70 dollars was half price and they were also running 50% off sales in other areas of the store. I also stopped in Sephora, which is located inside of this location (who knew?) And they were actually happy to answer questions regarding foundation for my particular skin type. I went in expecting the bare minimum and a mediocre experience and I walked out with a couple deals and not feeling like I was "upsaled" to death. Awesome day. read more

I purchased a dishwasher on 9/26/2016,it was not going to be available until 10/20/16,so I had to cancel the order.I paid using my debit card, the money was taken out on the spot. I went to this location to return an online order and i waited in line for 5 minutes in one line just for them to tell me i couldn't return it at that customer service station and they pointed me to another register well i waited another 15 minutes in this line for another woman to tell me i couldn't return at this register either that i would have to go to another line and i waited in this line for nothing in a really mean way so i went to yet another register waiting in this line for yet another 10 minutes and the lady finally returned my one shirt i needed to return because they sent me two of the same shirt so it took me 30 minutes for a 5 minute thing never going back ever! read more
