Stopped into a Kohl's in Santa Fe but the staff here was much more pleasant. Standard Kohl's. Sort of an empty lot but ample parking. Clean store, fairly new looking I assume. Or maybe it's corporate just keeping things up to date. I REALLY appreciate that. Compared to a Macy's or JC Penny I would select Kohl's every time. Anyway the shelves were stoked. Not a lot of product just skew wif. Bit of a line but it was a tax free pre school weekend in St. Louis so everyone was going crazy. Cashier got me through the process quickly and I left. Set off the alarm but I was told it's ok. Get home to see the safety seal or lock was still on my watch. Never removed. Returned the next few days with a receipt and all set. Thanks.

The shop keeper was knowledgeable and helpful. She got me set up in a dressing room and helped find the right size and fit for my body. My hesitation with small boutiques is that the majority of my experience with them is always a let down. I am a plus size person (size 18/20 for reference) and usually find very little or anything at all in my size. To my surprise, I immediately found several items in my size. Items that were fashionable and well made. I tried on several pieces and they all fit well. The material fit and hung well giving everything I tried on a polished feel. I ended up taking home two new dresses. I absolutely cannot resist a dress with pockets! I was 2 for 2 today! I felt the items are good quality for the price I paid for them.
