I discovered this little gem a few years ago when shopping with a few friends on Main Street. Today, I popped in to get a gift for a girlfriend. Last time I was there the staff introduced me to a brand of leather bracelets with cute little sayings and I've been waiting to gift one to a special someone. The owner, Nicole, and her staff were very helpful finding the perfect friendship quote to give my dear friend. I also found an adorable little dress and boot socks (we used to call them leg warmers ). Besides the great staff, warm atmosphere, unique and trendy items the price point is very reasonable for those not looking to break the bank. Even though it was a special occasion dress the women at the register laughed at my husband and really related with me and since everything was brand new with tags so attached she made an exception and was very polite. I did not know Norton my husband clearly that this was a non-returnable dress but I'm so thankful that she was so sweet and really went above to help me out. The shop keeper was knowledgeable and helpful. She got me set up in a dressing room and helped find the right size and fit for my body. My hesitation with small boutiques is that the majority of my experience with them is always a let down. I am a plus size person (size 18/20 for reference) and usually find very little or anything at all in my size. To my surprise, I immediately found several items in my size. Items that were fashionable and well made. I tried on several pieces and they all fit well. The material fit and hung well giving everything I tried on a polished feel. I ended up taking home two new dresses. I absolutely cannot resist a dress with pockets! I was 2 for 2 today! I felt the items are good quality for the price I paid for them. Keep in mind that they do donate them after so many days. I can't remember exactly. It is donated they keep 100% of the profit and it's just donated to their store. Today I mixed up my appointment time. I couldn't get it to pull back up and I came an hour early they would not accommodate me so I had to drive around for an hour which just frustrating because of how gas is pricey then when I did come back for my appointment. I was only in there for three minutes. I brought in over 40 items of clothing and two boxes and they only took about five items. It was very frustrating to say the least. I wish I would have just accommodated me if I knew it was only gonna take them three minutes to go through my clothing when I originally came in. It's also important to note the items I brought in were brand new, never worn items. This is not, including the home decor that I brought in. They do not take home decor it's only clothing. I keep trying to give this place a chance because I love it here due to the customer service However, they are not doing well with sales, and this experience was very unpleasant. It's hard to continue to want to do business with a consignment store when you're only getting seven dollars for 40 items and then when you make an appointment they only take five items in out of over 20 you bring in.
