Russ and Debbie, the owners, were so accommodating, enjoyable, helpful and easy going; people you could just spend all day talking to. There are some RV spaces to camp here so we stayed on site to make set up a little easier on the day of the memorial. We had family that rented a quaint one bedroom cabin on site as well. There is an outdoor covered kitchen area with a huge refrigerator, which allowed us to bring food in advance and prep the day before. It was all so convenient! They were in the path of the Dixie fire, so the drive out there is baron, but don't let that deter you. Once you arrive, you are surrounded by green trees and stunning scenery. It was a perfect hidden gem. We are so pleased with our entire experience at lassen meadows and would absolutely recommend it and use this venue again for other events.

We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The booking process was easy and completed via e-mail. This aspect was handy as I didn't have to leave the house or make a phone call on a busy day. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's! During set up, Tim was there with his team hanging décor for us and making sure we had all the tables and chairs we needed. They were all very helpful and gracious to work with. Our caterer was thrilled with the kitchen access. The café area was the perfect place to hang out away from the loud music and dancing. The kids LOVED the way it looked and felt.
