Burger was huge and they even had a gluten free bun, which is hard to find. Bun was toasted and soft. Drinks: The bloody Mary's hit the spot, they do it up on the toppings. I even got some pork belly on top! Had one of their espresso martinis, also delish. They make it creamy which I love, I usually ask for it creamy. Lastly the lavender lemon drop was another great drink, super refreshing and it'll sneak up on ya!!! They do live music most Saturday nights as well!!

Rob & Linda Hart, who run the Inn & Coventry Gardens, are amazing! They were so sweet & welcoming & they made us feel right at home! The Old Town Mercantile that's inside the Inn offers a wide variety of neat gifts including some really cool vintage items. As gorgeous as the grounds are during the day you have to see them at night when their decorative lights are on. We stayed in The Blue Room & it was spacious & beautiful. Everything was clean & well stocked. With a view of the grounds & Coventry Gardens from several of the many windows & the large private bathroom with a tub & handheld shower, staying here was a real pleasure! But, the REAL treat was Linda's cooking! Oh my goodness! Her food was so amazing! We had dinner & breakfast there & both meals we beyond delicious! We will definitely be going back! I would highly recommend staying here in either the Cottages or the Hotel (we stayed 2 nights in the Cottage and an extra night at the Hotel). The service was incredible (special thank you to Dan the bartender) and the hotel itself is welcoming, clean, charming and gorgeous. We will be back. And if you are camping or staying somewhere else, the restaurant here is a must!

Unfortunately for myself, during my stay here I ended up having internal electrical problems (absolutely NO fault from the campground). I have Tmobile, which means you will not have service for calls, only "satellite texting" available, if you have that plan. The RV park also has no wifi. However, that wouldn't be an issue...if my rig was working properly. Fortunately for us, Kari helped us out!!! Not only did she let us use her phone to make a bunch of phone calls for mobile mechanics, but she let us connect to the business wifi so we could use our phones to research solutions while at the office. She was SO kind, understanding, and willing to help in anyway she could. Even though we arrived with all sorts of problems, she went above and beyond to make sure we were kept warm and happy. Now for the RV park itself...it is located in the BEAUTIFUL Childs Meadow. Just a few minutes away from Lassen Volcanic National Park's entrance and visitor center. The prices were extremely fair. Full hookups around here were a gem to find. Franks (the restaurant directly in front of the RV park) had the friendliest staff who made us feel welcomed immediately, with a nice selection of comfort foods available. We also ate across the street at the nice sit-down restaurant and WOW it's a must! It was so good we went back twice for dinner. If you are looking for a BEAUTIFUL area in the woods, with the kindest staff, and best amenities around for the location and price, then The Village at Highlands Ranch (RV Park) is highly recommended!

It was early enough for dinner that a lot of bugs weren't out yet but as we were leaving the gnats started swarming... there was several screaming and crying babies so it wasn't a very peaceful dinner, but not the restaurants fault.... Just wish that people had consideration for others when bringing their children to restaurants, when they are worn out from being at the lake all day.

This went on for 4 holes until they finally let us skip a couple holes. We in total waited 45 minutes to an hour in all, waiting for other groups to pass us. What should've been a 2-3 hour day, turned into a 5 hour day. Super bummed out with the customer service and definitely do not recommend if you have a group over 5.
