We had our wedding here and it was amazing. I was shocked when I saw Cindy (their manager) boxing up our left over food and washing the pans they came in. I recommend this venue in a heartbeat not only because the amazing location but because the wonderful staff. Incredible venue !! Recently drove from Reno to this small town east of Redding to attend the wedding of a dear friend. Why would she have everyone drive three hours for the wedding when no one lives near here ? Come to the property and discover her reasons. Truly in the countryside. Huge parking lot with attendants to guide you. Lots of mature trees. Ponds. Fabulous fountain. Spacious grassy areas. Nice restroom facilities with changing room upstairs. Large barn. Yard games. The fall pictures will be incredible. The green lawn with white chairs, and brick path leading to an outdoor raised alter as the breeze tosses leaves all around. The natural area here is just plain gorgeous. While pictures were taken before and after the ceremony, horseshoe pits, giant connect four, and frisbee games were available to the guests to play on the lawn. After the ceremony we go to the barn, where it is a perfect up. An area for buffet service, a small kitchen for the caterers to set up in complete with industrial refrigerator and sinks. A bar area. DJ or band stage. Large dance floor. Large seating area with tables and chairs. Rustic, but very clean. The chandeliers are an awesome touch. The entire venue seems so well organized from a guest's perspective. BTW - for those that want to enjoy an event here, Redding Lyft does deliver and pick you up. read more

This venue is gorgeous hands down!! The Wedding was actually an old 'Hand Fasting' Celtic themed atmosphere. The barn area was also beautifully rustic. The celebration was from 4:00p-11:00p on a November evening. We were concerned about the weather honestly, but there were gas heaters set out amongst the tables and it was plenty warm enough! There were people in attendance that were disabled and it was very difficult for one elderly woman to get around in her wheelchair!!! There is gravel in the parking lot that is impossible to navigate thru, the isn't a clear smooth path from the ceremony area to the reception/barn area. It is grass with lots of bumpy roots, or more gravel, and a walking bridge (that is very cute btw) but it has uneven boards/aged wood to get across without sudden jerks or unexpected stops. This should definitely be a venue for each couple to look into for their special day! Just understand that if a guest has physical limitations, it will be very difficult to get them to important areas of the event. I did not use the restroom, I have physical limitations and the lumpy grass did not feel safe for me. I will also add that after the sun went down, it was very dark outside. The parking area was not lit, and it wouldn't be a huge plus if they would put more light on buildings and lots of lighting in the trees/grassy area below the barn. That is my humble opinion . . . use it as you will. I'm not from the area. I was just an invited guest as a longtime friend of the Brides mother/grandmother. We all had an amazing time together. The food and cupcakes were delicious!!! Lots of luck to you at the Ranch, you have a very special venue to offer folks. I wish you good fortune and happiness all the days of your life ahead. TBS Ranch is the best place to work with. We got married there a week ago, and booked the venue over a year ago. Throughout the whole process of booking, organizing, planning, and the actual big event itself, the TBS owners and staff were more than accommodating. TBS offers great policies for their ranch, provides all tables and chairs, and even provides a day-of host on the premises to help with any emergency needs. In addition, communicating with them via email was simple and quick; they always responded in less than 24 hours, sometimes within the hour. If you get a chance, go look at their website if you are trying to find a wedding venue. The images are beautiful and perfectly describe the location and setting. Neither my husband or I are from Redding/Palo Cedro, but we decided it was worth it to trek all the way up there just for this stunning location with the incredible price. They worked with us through distance, and even provided us with a list of other vendors (from caterers all the way to make-up and hair suggestions) which made the process of planning a wedding much less stressful. All in all, I highly suggest you take a look at TBS for your wedding. I would not have done anything differently! Such a great venue with respectful and kind owners/staff. read more

TBS Ranch is the perfect location for a wedding! It has beautiful outdoor gardens for the ceremony, and a beautiful barn for the reception. The barn is very nice inside! It has chandeliers , and a concrete floor, so it's not a typical barn with hay and the smell of farm animals. Lol! This venue is perfect for weddings during times of "iffy" weather, because the ceremony can be held in the barn during rain. Stephanie is very easy to work with, and she always got back to me promptly regarding any questions I might have. TBS provides a host/hostess and parking attendant during the event, so there is always someone there to help with last minute issues. The parking area is large and easy to use. The restrooms were clean and air conditioned! The bridal suite is well equipped and comfortable! The landscaping is well manicured. The water features are a plus! The grounds and surrounding areas are perfect for wedding pictures. I highly recommend this venue! read more

My wife and I got married at TBS Ranch in April. We were looking for a beautiful natural setting and we found it at TBS. We liked how the buildings and ceremony area blended with the natural landscape of oak trees. The barn was a great atmosphere for our reception. We had about 65 friends and family attending. The barn had nice natural light during the day. The surrounding lawn area and water features were well-maintained. The bathrooms as well as the rest of the buildings on the property were clean.
