Birthday Party Review: My 7 year old girl had her birthday bash here 2 days ago. I was extremely impressed with the employee Kyndall. She was very attentive and sweet to the children. Both Alyssa's were great also. We had 24 kids so we reserved the GREEN room. ( it's double in size so choose this if you have a lot of ppl coming ) I saw big rowdy kids in the toddler area and a worker quickly moved them along. It was good to see that. Pretty fun trampoline park in Redding They have a few different sections inside. Two areas for older kids on the left and middle sections, and another section on the right for smaller kids. They have a dodgeball area as well as a rock climbing wall The prices are reasonable, especially when you have younger kids shorter than 42". It only cost $7-$8 per kids. They also have an arcade area in the main lobby. Not a ton of games but enough to keep a kid busy for 30-45 minutes? A few of my negative experiences: 1. it's a smaller trampoline park and in a place like Redding, when it rains for example, the place is PACKED. 2. Even though they had a "little kid" section, there was no regulation. There were tons of older kids running around the toddler area, knocking over our toddler and baby. 3. the yelp hours, their website hours and their actual hours are not the same which is super frustrating. Yelp says they're open at 10am every day Their website says "Normal Hours: Monday - Friday : 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Saturday: 10 AM - 8 PM Sunday: 11 AM Their actual hours: 11am Monday - Friday (see photo) 4. No one answers the phone here. I tried calling at 10am, and continued to call every 15-20 minutes without anyone ever answering the phone. Then around 2:30pm someone finally answered and confirmed they opened at 11am that morning... Which sucked because by the time we got their after 3:30 the place was slammed and our kids were overran by older kids. Over all I'd give it a 3 stars. We visited Rare Air excited for a fun day with family, but unfortunately, the experience was soured by an interaction with one of the employees named Landon. From the beginning, Landon was dismissive and unhelpful. When I had a simple question about check-in and wristbands, he gave short, sarcastic answers and made it clear he didn't want to be bothered. I tried to clarify, thinking maybe he misunderstood--but instead of helping, he doubled down with a rude tone and eye rolls. It felt like I was an inconvenience for even asking. Look, I get that customer service isn't always easy. But basic respect shouldn't be optional. I wasn't confrontational--I was just a paying customer trying to get information so our group could enjoy the park. Landon's attitude was not just unprofessional, it was downright disrespectful. The rest of the park was fine--kids had a great time jumping--but that one interaction left a bad taste. I'm sharing this in hopes that management sees it and addresses it, because no family should feel embarrassed or dismissed when they're just trying to make memories. Do better. read more

MY kids love Rare Air! I have been taking my son here since he was 2 (he's 6 now) and every time I ask him what he wants to do, he says he wants to go jumping! Same with my daughter. We've had nothing but great experience's here. The park is always clean and the employees have always been really great to my kids. Not safe for smaller children! I took my five-year-old twin girls here last weekend on a rainy day. Within about 60 seconds of stepping onto the main mat with all of the little squares to jump on, a bigger kid jumped in passing right behind my daughter and fractured her tibia. No staff offered to help upon seeing her injured on the mat. It was so busy that there was no way to keep track of who injured my daughter and try to address the issue. Bigger kids are simply given free rein to injure smaller children here! That bigger kid will probably continue to do this without any accountability or prevention measures taken on the part of rare air. I'm sure they're just simply delighted with all the money they made on that busy day without being able to provide a safe environment for the children. There was no first aid available on site. The most that the staff members could offer me was to try to give me a refund. Unfortunately " the card wasn't working" to give me a refund. So convenient for them to take my money so quickly and not be able to refund me within a few minutes. They attempted to give me a partial refund on another card, only offering about 2/3 of what I paid to get in. After going to the ER and getting a splint on my daughter's leg, rare air called me to tell me that they were "praying for me." I don't know which religion or god they are praying to, but I don't share that worldview and that was entirely meaningless to me. it was more like a slap in the face after everything that happened. read more

This establishment used to be a clean, fun, and well managed establishment. However, after today's experience with the staff I would not recommend for any parent to bring their children here. The teenaged staff are rude, disrespectful, and laugh at the adult paying customers when clarifying questions about the different areas designated to the different sizes of children. With NO adult employees to monitor, the "customer service" you receive is watching the girls speak about customers poorly in front of other customers giving the most negative vibe to an expensive good family time. save your money and just go to Palo Cedro park or kids kingdom park. read more

How to wear your kids out when the temperatures hit 120: take them to Rare Air. Rare Air Trampoline Park is a warehouse filled with bouncy floors for the Tigger in your family. Board games? Hmph. Tiggers don't like board games! Tiggers like bouncing from one smallish trampoline to another. Tiggers like bouncing onto the block in the middle. Tiggers like flipping off the block in the middle. Tiggers like dodge ball on the trampoline. Tiggers like rock walls. Tiggers even like video games. But mom or dad should be close by in case Tigger gets hurt. My tigger is 12, and it turns out she was at the upper age of most of the tiggers there. Or maybe it was just an early Saturday night. But that's something to keep in mind. Redding has some rough characters who live here, but the other tiggers weren't picking on anyone else, and adult staff is always roaming around. Rare Air is $14/hour, which seems high (and probably prices out the rough characters), but it took less than an hour for her and the other tiggers to wear themselves out, so it's a good price. There are also small rooms to the side for birthday parties. We were tourists, and this was not an only-in-Redding thing. But the girl tigger had so much fun here. `Cause that's what Tiggers do best! I think under normal (non-COVID) circumstances, this place would get a much higher review from me. However, this business does not care at all about keeping employees or guests safe. I don't know what their "normal" capacity is, or if they're keeping it at a safer, lower COVID capacity, but it was crowded as hell when we were here today, and they don't enforce masks for anyone. I was literally the only guest wearing a mask when we got there at 9 until we left just before 11. As we were leaving, a family came in who were also wearing masks. But not a single other guest was wearing one. Not a single other adult. None of the children. Staff were all wearing their masks under their noses. One woman serving pizzas from the kitchen wasn't wearing one at all! read more

My two kids went on a field trip there for school and they said it totally sucked. They said that there was dodgeball going on and the older kids were performing head shots on the younger kids and the Referee Employee was turning a blind eye to that behavior. There are other reasons too, but it's not cool that they let the older kids gang up on the little ones. read more

A massive room full of trampolines. Massage chairs situated so you can watch your children get out their energy while getting a shiastsu massage. Super friendly staff who are helpful and easy going. We arrived 20 minutes before they closed and after driving 8 hours we needed to get some exercise. Staff helped us check in quickly so we could get as much jumping in as possible. This spot has tons of potential, and would be getting an entirely different rating had we not been in a pandemic. However, we are, and I'm unsure the staff is aware, as the place was not being wiped down WHATSOEVER, there were minimal (and mostly empty)sanitizing stations for the guests, the staff members were either not wearing masks, or if they did have one on, it was hooked under their chins and not covering their faces at all, and one staff member (female, young, tall, brunette) was walking around the front helping people with neither a mask, nor shoes on. I was literally disgusted. It was shocking how flippant people here are in regards to safety and the welfare of others during this pandemic that's killed HALF A MILLION people in the US alone. Gross. Gosh I want to actually come here and express how much I love this place and how much my kids love playing there but, it's literally the worse place to go if you don't want to catch something. Every time we take our kids they get sick, first it was a cold virus , we went again a couple of months later and boom 4 days after my kids are sick . We though maybe they got it somewhere else so we went again like usually and agaiin my kids get sick. This was the last straw . My son got a herpe complex virus from this place. They DO NOT wipe or clean their things and I notice that because even our kids cloths looked a different color when we left . It's disgusting!!! I'm so mad . My son has. Cool place for the whole family! We chose the 1 hour jump option. Family of 4 and group of 7 (3 adults, 4 kids), we had fun on main trampoline with visits to the Dodge ball, foam pit, and other sections of trampolines. Happy seeing plenty staff visible and doing their jobs. Played air hockey and a few video games. Skee ball was not working this visit. You will need to buy a pair of their "no slide socks" for a few bucks or if you have your own that's even better, bring them! Plenty of lockers to lock up your purses and belongings. Bring 4 quarters for that. Bring your own water as well. You also have an option to wall climb. It's super reasonable at $5 for 15 minutes. My only gripe was that it did get very stuffy and hot. Wish management could have turned on that huge fan that was overhead in main trampoline. Enjoyed ourselves and will return. read more

We had an overall fun experience at Rare Air. I brought a friend from LA who was, at first, very nervous to try it out. I also brought my 9 year old nephew and my fiancé. I had bought tickets online and everyone signed waivers to save time when arriving. All except my nephews waiver was done...I thought his mother had already signed it. They will not accept ANY other family members to sign a waiver for children. Only legal guardians. His mother wasn't with us. They said "just call his mother and have her sign the waiver online". I'm not really sure how that even proves it was his mother that signs it, I very well could have just said I was his mother and signed it myself rather than waiting. They don't ask for proof of legal guardianship. Anyway, luckily I was able to get a hold of her to sign the waiver real quick so my nephew could enjoy the park. Would have been very disappointing after a 90 min drive to not let him use the park. I don't know why people are making a big deal about the socks. They are only $3, they are good quality socks, they look cool (nice bright lime green) and are a nice souvenir. Yes, you get to keep them! Plus you can reuse them for another visit! My nephew had a BLAST and was bummed we weren't staying another hour. My nervous friend also had a good time! My fiancé thoroughly enjoyed the massage chairs they have outside the trampoline park. We got a great workout in the short time we were there. I plan to be back now that we have our waivers signed and our socks saved. read more

We are in town visiting friends & they suggested this new indoor trampoline park as a good way to burn off energy. We live in SoCal & frequent Get Air our local park. We are familiar with the safety involved as well as the convenience & ease of this place. However, Rate Air Park albeit new made today's outing incredibly difficult & frustrating. Upon arrival we were told our kids couldn't jump in their own socks. We were required to purchase "jumping socks" for $3.00/pair. Even if I lived here & could return to this park, I'm not sure I would be thrilled about keeping up with a special pair of "jumping socks" wiener we decided to pop in. Strike one. The second strike for us was the wifi. I run my own company & needed this one hour reprieve to get some things accomplished. To access wifi here, one must have a Facebook account. I understand I may be one of a few people without Facebook but that is my choice. The excuse given for not have a master password to access the wifi is it would create a unsecured network. The last time I set up my own internet, I found it fairly easy to set my account with a password. I'm not looking to do any banking while here, I would simply like the opportunity to send/receive mail & do a little project research. The staff would not provide any help in this matter. The third strike is in the size of the bouncing area. Given the size of the building & wasted space in the "lobby", this was not well laid out. The trampolines are small & when packed with children, I imagine it is a parents safety nightmare. Today there are only about five other children here during our hour. If either of these two things had been represented or displayed on their website, I would not have brought my children here & spent $32.00 for one hour of "entertainment". I will not be returning here when we visit our friends again. I hope others have a better experience than we did today! read more

Love this place. Friday morning toddler time is the best for my 3 year old. We can roam the entire area and its great for her to play with kiddos her own age. We have gone every Friday since they opened and has always had a great fun and safe time. The owner/manager is great, very friendly and helpful. I was worried that it would be hot during the summer but it's a great place to beat the heat. The newly added huge fan works wonders. All visits have been fun and safe. We have never had an unpleasant visit, plus we can always count on a nap afterwards. Big deal that you must by socks, it shows me that the owners are consistent with rules and look out for our safety... Awesome place, will and have recommend to friends and family. This place was awesome! My wife & I took our son here for his birthday. We were a little nervous how our son would do because he has Autism. My wife and I both were very pleased how wonderful our son was treated. From the cashiers to the helpers on the bounce floor. Everyone was great. Big THANK YOU to Alex. He was on the bounce floor and couldn't have been nicer to my son & I. He was very helpful & even showed our son another area to try and see if he liked it and he did. Sitting here absolutely freezing inside rare air. The outside air is 52' and inside air is probably around 40'. All of the parents are shivering. The music is way too loud. Your ears hurt and ring from it. We have been to many trampoline places in many different states and had never experienced anything like this. We are happy to have rare air here in Chico and hope they read this and make adjustments. read more

I guess if you have little kids who just jump around it would be fine but if you are there to do flips then don't go. you aren't aloud to do doubles or flip off anything. any place you can flip is usually packed with little kids. However we paid for the package with unlimited rock wall and due to it being so busy and not enough staff on, the wall was not open for the 2 hours that we were there. 45 minutes into our jump time they got someone over there and then the kids were happy. We love your establishment and the kids love going there but I was a little disappointed for that being as we paid for 14 jumpers with unlimited rock wall climbing for the birthday party. I was also disappointed that they only gave one of the birthday boys a future hour jump pass which became a problem later but for the most part, everyone had a great time. Great fun for kids. I would give full five stars if the "refs" would actually enforce any of the obvious rules like height requirements. There are adults bouncing in the kid zone and 2 year olds getting hurt in the big kid area. The "refs" just talk to each other and ignore the mess. Update- Refs are doing their jobs now. We had my sons birthday party yesterday. As we arrived there we were met with friendly service and smiles. As we rented out the green party room people I noticed from other party rooms were complaining about the heat. Ad very little time went on our party of about 25 started complaining about the air. I went up to ask what's going on with the AC and by 3 different people was 3 different answers. It got so bad in our room people had to leave temporary to go into the bounce house area for more cooling. My mother asked for some sort of discount for the trouble of the AC not running right. They replied and said they don't give discounts. I funny part about the situation was the same thing happen last year. We wont be going to this establishment any more because of the greedyness and just simple upkeep on the AC units which it happened to be.
