We had our daughter's wedding last Saturday at Gover Ranch. They have the most amazing venue and have done such amazing work on the grounds. The bridal and grooms suites are gorgeous., the grounds and barn are stunning and they have so many options for were you can have your ceremony. Adam was great to work with. We attended a wedding here and while the barn is a rustic but elegant backdrop for a wedding I do not recommend having one here in the summer. It's a barn so naturally they do not have AC and just imagine having to be in wedding attire sweating everywhere. It was an unusually hot day around 110 so that did not help. I don't know if the venue or the wedding party paid to bring in giant water cooler fans (2 of them) which helped a little. As a guest I thought I was going to pass out. For this particular wedding they opted to have a food truck which was outside and partially under a shaded area. I did not see if they would be able to have food catered. If so I'd go casual and BBQ route. The restrooms were very nice and super clean thank goodness. The property itself is extremely secluded and off the beaten path. If that's what you want then go for it. The staff of the property seemed very slim to none and they did not seem to offer the usual wedding type assistance that I'm familiar with. Maybe this was based upon the type of package our wedding party purchased I don't know. Most of the traditional aspects of what you'd see for a schedule of events at a wedding did not occur. Beautiful couple , sweet ceremony and good to see family. Beautiful piece of property but limited for sure. Hope this helps. read more

So disappointed when a business does not respond to either your multiple phone calls or emails. We attend their lovely movie night, so much fun. We spoke with someone who works there about the wonderful vendors they had who were selling hand crafted items. Now I'll admit I'm new to the vendor business but I am local with a sustainable product. All I want to chat with them about was my product and to see if it fit in with their vision and if there was a place for me. But as professionals a simple "we'll get back to you as we're super busy" or no not interested would have polite. read more

Viewed this venue in winter for my summer wedding (June 3rd), and it was beautiful both times. I must say though, it was absolutely breathtaking in June. I'm sure if you want a winter wedding, this will check all your boxes, plus more! (Flowers just aren't in bloom yet ) Well priced for what you get! Bre was an absolute pleasure to work with! Gover Ranch is one of the most amazing venues in Northern California. I have had the pleasure of attending many events at the venue as well as photographing events. As a wedding photographer, I am always so excited to work at Gover. It is nearly impossible to take a bad photo at the ranch. From the gardens, to the orchard, to the barn, Gover Ranch is absolutely beautiful. Plus, the owners are incredibly friendly and awesome to work with. We had the best experience having our wedding at Gover Ranch in May 2017! Bre Ketel was a pleasure to work with as our on-site coordinator (I highly recommend Bre - she really went the extra mile for us!), and it's a breathtaking place to have a Spring wedding - with all the flowers in bloom. We would recommend Gover to anyone considering an outdoor wedding in Northern California (They also have a concrete-floored barn that can be used if you want an indoor wedding or reception with a rustic feel.) The day goes by in a hurry with a million details, so it really pays to have people and a place that have the whole experience dialed-in so you don't have to worry about a thing. The Gover Ranch is amazing! The grounds are impeccable and my daughters wedding was really beautiful. The new owners cane through with the use of their home on the property when the old owner had re-nigged on it! They were gracious with my daughter and son in law and kept their word. The pictures are amazing and everyone has commented on it beauty! We had the ranch from the Friday before the wedding till Sunday after with the three houses on the property included for a very reasonable rate. My daughter lives in Chico so the trip was not to far and very worth it! It was her dream wedding! Thanks Gover for making it happen! read more

My husband and I were just married at the Gover Ranch a few weeks ago and it was absolutely incredible! Everything turned out more beautifully than we could have ever imagined and we received so many compliments on how beautiful, relaxed and fun our venue was! Also, Kimberly was an absolute joy to work with and helped us out with planning, set up and always went out of her way to help us with any questions we had. Guests have described our wedding as if it was a page from a fairytale and I have to say that is exactly how it felt!
