These two are fun, friendly, extremely detail oriented, and go above and beyond in their services. The whole process was made easy with how well their planning forms are structured. At the wedding, anything that needed changing or questioned, Jennifer was so calm and collective and took my thoughts into consideration and took care of it in a snap. I didn't have to worry about anything. The music selection can be as detailed or as hands off as you choose. We chose all of our songs. Jake read the crowd so well that when everyone was getting down he never stopped the fun by putting on a slow song. The party kept going! And we love it! Several people afterwards said that was the funnest wedding they've been to. Over all we give them an 11/10 and recommend them to all of our friends!

At first I didn't think I needed a Day Coordinator and I almost messed up big time by not booking her services. There were mishaps that happened the day of my wedding but I didn't deal with any of them. She took care of it all and even went to bat for me when a vendor messed up big time. I am so thankful for her and Jake. Speaking of Jake, he killed it with the music. I had a very particular vibe we wanted and the selection of music was going through eras as the night progressed. He pulled it off flawlessly. If you're reading this and debating on them over others just pull the trigger with these two. You will be glad you did when all is said and done.

He's very relational, and was always easy to reach and answer any and all of my questions. I told him I just wanted a big dance party and he made the wedding so fun with playing requested songs and keeping the dance floor going with songs the crowd was vibing on! I was so thankful for his "do not play" list available to which Casper slide was definitely on, and I'm sure someone at some point requested it but he stuck to my request. (Thank you Paul! ) He was very quick on his feet to stall the crowd when it came to the garter/bouquet toss and I realized in that moment I had completely forgot to put my garter on! The night flowed so well and even with a stuffed up sinus cavity ridden with allergies, Paul showed up and made it happen with ease! He also has ALL the connections, so really you get more than DJ services, you get a wedding phonebook at your dispose with great local vendors. Check him out, cause he books up quick!

He's also organized some of the best vendors in the Redding area under the Northern California Event Services umbrella, which should be the first site you visit if you're getting married in the Redding/NorCal area. Mike was a big part of that. He worked well with me on the music selection before and during the dancing and he took requests from all the guests and we had a lot of people dancing all night who didn't want to leave. He worked great with our coordinator and all the transitions in our wedding went very smoothly. His emcee skills were excellent and he had charisma, excitement and confidence in his announcements. Note: If you are having a wedding, hire a coordinator, or designate a friend of family member with a well put together plan. Don't expect the DJ to be your wedding coordinator and then blame him for your own lack of preparedness like another review here did. Mike is highly detail oriented, which is very important for a wedding. It does mean he's going to ask you a lot of questions beforehand and make you aware of a lot of things you probably had no idea mattered, but they really do. You don't want to have some clown who doesn't know how things work and sells you on the illusion that this is an easy job and all you need to do is find the lowest bidder. Then they go and screw up something special like your toast because there's a bunch of people not paying attention and the sound is too low. Happens all the time when you skimp on your DJ. Take my advice, it's one of the most important days of your life. Pay for a DJ with a lot of experience and knows what they are doing. I'm really glad we went with Mike rather than try and save money by getting some kid or cheap DJ service.

DJ Patrick was AWESOME!…read more He worked with me to figure out the logistics of the wedding, which was super helpful. Our ceremony was in front of vineyards and there wasn't access to electricity. Also, we had a different ceremony and reception site, so there was the issue of set-up and take-down and re-setup. None of these things were issues for DJ Patrick - he has SO much gear and was able to adapt to any situation. He also has his own uplights, which saved us HUNDREDS on rentals. The thing that stands out to me was his investment in our day. He was the first one in our reception venue on the day-of, so he ended up telling the caterers where and when to set-up, he worked with the margarita machine guy to learn the recipe and how to start the machine, etc. He even brought something to the ceremony site for us that we left at the reception set-up! He was AMAZING! Our own little Day-Of Coordinator :) He was dancing and had us all dancing for hours - he even took some photos and sent them to us. Can't recommend enough. He was fantastic.
