All their linens were clean and wonderful. I'm really happy we chose to go through them.

We booked table and chairs (9-tables) from A Planned Affair and had to cancel our reservation with over 2-months in advance notice and they would not refund my deposit or even a portion of it. I could understand if it was a larger amount but for 9-tables and 2-months advance I don't think that is very fair to the customer. read more

We used Redding Tents to furnish our outdoor wedding at a friend's farm. We're from out of town (about three hours away in Sonoma County), so we came a couple months before and reserved what we needed (tents, chairs, tables, dishes and silverware). We made adjustments about a week before according to our RSVPs. They delivered everything and set up the tents the day before. Everything went off perfectly. Since they are closed Sundays (and didn't charge us for it because of this fact) they came back and picked up everything on Monday, after my wife and I had already gone back home. It could've been a real nightmare for us having this all happen without us being around, but RT&E was professional, helpful, and took care of everything we needed. AMAZING, RELIABLE, PROMPT, AND THE BEST! My husband and I wed this past November and we cannot express how pleased we were with Marlene's planning and day of services! To begin with, she only had about three months to plan the entire thing. Being a Southern California native, it was really hard to let someone else take the reigns on our wedding day, but she has top of the line catering, florists and cake references. We took one trip to Redding before our big day and she lined up all of the meetings to fit our time frame. From the food to the flowers, they nailed it all! I could not stop hearing from family members that just absolutely loved the entire event! This was the first time either side of our family had experienced the work of a wedding planner, but it was an amazing experience. Given that most of my family was worried about the level of stress our wedding day would bring on (I was eight months pregnant), Marlene and her team took it all away! The day of our wedding, we were only asked two questions. They took care of the hard set up and tear down. All our family had to do was grab the bags that were clearly labeled "belongings" and we were on our way to bed! Seriously, do not look any further. I rented table cloths for my wedding and one of them wasn't the right size and I only had ordered 6 table cloths. Can't even get a small order correct? My friend also ordered table cloths for her wedding and they only gave her half of them so she had to cut them all so they would cover all the tables on the day of her wedding. I would not recommend this place at all! read more

Terrible customer service. My event was on a Sunday and they gave us rectangle table clothes for round tables! They looked like table runners, it was terrible! We asked for a refund because we were unable to use the equipment and the manager was extremely rude and hard to work with. Would never rent from here again for a special event. read more

Do not rent from this company. There is nothing worse than finding out, on the day of your wedding that your table clothes do not match! We rented 7 table clothes. The color of the table clothes did not match and one cloth was too long. The owner, Brenda, refused to take responsibility for their mistake. Rented dunk tank on the phone for the online price listed. We waited a hour when we picked it up so they could fix it which we did not mind. Returned it and got a receipt which was way over the online price. My husband talked to the manager who said "it was not her problem the online prices were old prices" so I called and talked to her and would have been fine with a I am sorry, but she said the same thing to me. She was rude. I asked her to leave a message for the owner Robbie to call me back. Well never received a call back. We were treated poorly enough for me to leave a review. Word of mouth is everything in this town and I will not be going to this business again. read more

Avoid this business! Reserved a dance floor for a wedding 6 months in advance - smaller size, nothing fancy- and the total was 500.00. Within a week we found the same dance floor through Geri and Fred's party rentals for 200.00. Despite canceling with tents and events within the week and 6th months in advance they kept 250.00 of ours. Not reasonable at all! Complete robbery!! We do not support thieves! :( read more

As we were planning our daughter, April's, wedding to the love of her life, Tryg...as parents we wanted her to have the wedding she always dreamed of. Marlene made that dream come true! Marlene was highly recommended by Melissa with the Gaia Hotel in Anderson CA. From the minute we met Marlene, we were highly impressed. She listened carefully to the brides's wishes and Marlene worked within our budget. As parents, Marlene held our hands and our hearts throughout this process. She met with us on multiple occasions during the planning and walked us through -step by step. Her sense of design and attention to detail is outstanding. She always has a smile on her face and she literally thinks of everything ! We cannot imagine planning a wedding without her. . She has a sense of calm and a heart of gold. Every detail of this wedding was planned.. decor, design, flowers, colors, style, timeline, seating etc.... Our daughter had hoped for an outdoor ceremony by the river with cocktail hour by the lagoon and reception indoors. This was an Oct wedding and weather was not supposed to be an issue. As the day approached and the risk of poor weather was a real possibility, Marlene and the Gaia resort figured out Plan A Plan B and even Plan C. The ceremony was not able to take place by the river, but instead Marlene transformed the room (with her elegant draping and lights) and created the most gorgeous room for the ceremony...I will never forget our daughter tears of joy when she peeked into the room..She then worked tirelessly with her staff and Gaia staff. Marlene decorated the reception with hanging drapes, lights, gorgeous tables, decor in every corner.. and even a table to hold the photos for our loved ones that were looking down from Heaven. She works magic with her drapes and lights! So so elegant.. Every table was so beautiful.. and she knew how to set things up as guests arrived and make everyone feel welcome.. She was awesome during rehearsal and kept everyone calm. Then on the wedding day, when nerves get the best of everyone, Marlene was there guiding us and overseeing our lifetime event.
