I hired Licia around the end of November 2025 to do "full planning" for my early May wedding. Her…read moreservices are more expensive than what you'll typically pay in this area, but I figured it would be worth it since my wedding was only 5 months away and I wanted everything taken care of. 6 weeks passed with zero progress on my wedding and barely any communication from Licia. No vendors were booked, no decor ideas were sent over. I never heard Licia say that she was blocked waiting on something from me, in fact 3 weeks went by with no communication at all.   As time passed it began to dawn on me that something was not right here. After reviewing our paperwork, I realized that Licia hadn't fulfilled items in her own contract. With my wedding now just 3.5 months away and ZERO vendors booked, I called Licia in early January to discuss terminating our contract. She insisted that she had been working on my wedding, and deserved to be compensated for her time by keeping part of my deposit. I'd never ask anyone to work for free, and told her if something is done that's great, please send it over! After hanging up Licia let me know via text that she would not be sending anything over, and I did not get a full refund of my deposit. From the reviews here it seems that others had good experiences with Licia in the earlier days of her company. My more recent experience, not so great. 2 stars instead of 1 since I can't really speak to the final product. I will say, I was initially drawn in by Licia's bubbly personality. But ultimately, good intentions are not results. Licia let 6 weeks pass on an already tight timeline which put me in a very tough position, and ultimately didn't render any services paid for.

At first I didn't think I needed a Day Coordinator and I almost messed up big time by not booking her services. There were mishaps that happened the day of my wedding but I didn't deal with any of them. She took care of it all and even went to bat for me when a vendor messed up big time. I am so thankful for her and Jake. Speaking of Jake, he killed it with the music. I had a very particular vibe we wanted and the selection of music was going through eras as the night progressed. He pulled it off flawlessly. If you're reading this and debating on them over others just pull the trigger with these two. You will be glad you did when all is said and done.

She was so organized and was there for me anytime I needed. They were both able to travel from Redding to Chico at an affordable cost. When it came down to the day of they were both timely and so friendly I felt like they were two of my friends at the wedding! I hired her 5 months before my wedding as a day of coordinator with setting up and cleaning up added. She did exactly that but I realized many things the next day (the day of our wedding I was too happy about being married and seeing out of town/state friends and family to notice). For starters, I had given her a list of each table with the exact items at each table such as the specific table linens and each item used at the table and what they were supposed to be used for. One great example is our specially made figurines of our 11 year old dogs my husband had bought that were supposed to go on the back of the cake. Since they were specially made they cost $50 total for the two. They were left in a bin underneath our welcome table that my husband had to grab after realizing she and her assistant failed to notice. The only photos they were in were after the cake was cut so we never had the photos we wanted. Another thing is the ceremony. I had 6 reserved signs for the first two rows and put in my notes " (2 extra just in case they break because they are flimsy)". You would think she would put two on one side and two on the other but she went ahead and put 4 on the first four rows on the right and two on the left. This left almost two full rows empty because of the unnecessary reserved signs thrown out. I really didn't consider leaving this review until I found out the next day that none of our wedding favors were put out. For our wedding favors my dad and I made homemade peach jam. We had worked on it over the span of two months trying to make it perfect for our friends and family and were so worried about it turning out right working on it until the month of the wedding. We were so excited to have it be finally done and we're proud of what we made because it was a nostalgic gift because we used to make peach jam when I was little from our old peach tree. I found out the next day that our 79 jars of peach jam were not put out. I had it in my notes that there would be a small table for these jars of jam to be stacked and I had rented a linen for the table and made a sign for people to take one. I understand if things got busy not being able to set up that table might be one thing but to not put them out at all? To not put them on the tables? To not even bother to ask "why did you put Favor Table is your notes?" as if that has to be asked. If the box was lost she could have had people looking for it. I was never told by her that she failed to do this.I found out by my disappointed family who found it the next day and me and my dad are still incredibly disappointed that she failed to put out our hard work. I believe that despite me handing her a binder with a checklist of just basically inventory with pictures of how I wanted things that she didn't bother to look at my checklist and just saw my pictures in the back of the binder and ignored the rest. Her and her assistant did a great job setting up what they could and cleaning up. Again I have heard great things about Morgan and would never tell anyone not to hire her but I would not recommend Ciara King because of this disappointing experience.

It was beautiful! Gwen and I chatted on the phone, and I was terribly afraid of the cost of a wedding planner. I know that in the Bay Area, they are ridiculously priced. So I told Gwen that I would be more comfortable just doing "day of" coordination. And she said "i really prefer to work with my brides from day one. I will do that anyway." and she gave me her price.. I almost choked. It was so affordable! And she was on EVERYTHING. Emailing me updates with all of my vendors, finding me vendors that I couldn't get to, just truly gave me sanity during such a crazy time. My wedding day was so smooth. Gwen was on top of everything. At no point did I get stressed out that anything was going wrong because I trusted that Gwen had handled it all. She has such a creative and aesthetic eye. I knew that once the wedding was over, I would miss working with Gwen. Gwen, thank you so much for making my big day so spectacular. All of my guests told me that my wedding looked and felt like a million bucks even though we were very price conscious!
