OH MY. Barbe is amazing!…read more I had her cater my wedding and I am so happy I did! The food is the best I've ever had (not exaggerating) and I was so thankful for the decor she let us use for the food! I've heard from many people how great she is and now I know! I will definitely do business with BC Catering in the future!

I met Barbe at an event at Mosely Winery, as soon as I saw her presentation and then tasted her…read morefood I knew she was the caterer I needed for my work events. She caters dinner for our quarterly board meetings and has wowed even the pickiest of my attendee's. I've used her for the last 2 of our company holiday parties and everyone has loved her! On a personal level she has catered our daughters wedding where we, to this day get comments on how wonderful her food was. Recently I convinced her to cook for a family gathering for 3 days, not only was her food amazing, she and her husband were a delight to have with us. (pictures posted are of the appetizers she prepared of our son and daughter in laws rehearsal dinner). Now on to the 3rd and final wedding where of course... Barbe will be one of the main events!

I love, love, love DayBreak! I have never before had such great food in such a relaxed atmosphere…read more The setting is very casual, almost like eating at home in your own dining room, but with four-star food on the table. The dinner menu is prix fixe and Friday nights only, reservation required. I have always been satisfied when eating here. Master Chef Patrick regularly creates wonderfully inventive dishes with complex flavors, and Dana makes the absolute best carrot cake I have ever had. I highly recommend DayBreak to people who love good food but aren't in the mood for stuffy restaurants.

Yes, it's only on Friday…read morenights, yes it is a fixed courses menu but this is the best way to experience the food mood of the week from Master Chef Patrick. The flavors are accumulating through the dinner until you reach some of the best desserts in the Peninsula, then you realized you have been enjoying the food and the friendships for few hours. So yes, reservations are a must with 2 services at 6.30 and 7.30. Earlier is more mellow for a romantic dinner, later, more people and regulars so more animated but funny discussion in which Chef Patrick Farjas will join joyfully and explain to your table the "secret" of the dish served.

Josh, your food is amazing as well as your staff. Everyone was raving about our rehearsal dinner…read moremenu, you truly have a passion for food and took our western theme and ran with it. I think one member of your staff in particular, Adam (I hope I'm remembering his name right), was so fun and social and said so many kind words to my husband and I. I think before he left he danced a bit too and it was so funny thank you for putting out my silly Lord of the rings signs on our buffet (potatoes and meats back on the menu). You obviously also had many kind moments and just had everything under control. I also think for the breakfast when we left, the trays and anything left by you should have been disposable, we shouldn't have to drop off anything and it ended up being a few more things than we had discussed (a text with a clear list of what you needed back would have been huge, I had to keep asking and then the tong got left behind since I thought they were the venues). The morning after casserole was so delicious and the perfect hearty meal. I do think you could benefit from having like an office manager, sometimes I would email and take a while to hear back. But you are the chef and should be able to focus on your food! kind of don't care really if they drink after they are done serving all the food but I am concerned if you were drinking from our bar that we paid for. I really hope you had your own alcohol. A lot of my guests told me and they don't think it was professional so adding this note in for those that will care. I don't think it's worth knocking any points off for the food UNLESS it was from our open bar for our guests. I can't even express enough how delicious the food was. We went to a tasting to try our rehearsal dinner and my now husband and I were freaking out over how good it was. This man can COOK!

I would not recommend Josh Cleveland and C&C Catering to anyone…read more We had a great tasting a few months before our wedding, at which Josh told us all about his culinary training and his experience catering high-end, elevated events. Even though his pricing was almost double our other options, we wanted to give our guests a great experience. Food was our number one priority at our wedding. We paid extra for a plated dinner. When our wedding day came Josh was at least an hour late to arrive and didn't bring adequate staff to execute food for a cocktail hour + a 2 course plated dinner for 50 (3 different proteins, 4 different sides, a vegetarian meal, and some kids meals). He was the only person in the kitchen before dinner, and there was only one server bringing food from the kitchen to 50 guests. Josh didn't serve our agreed upon menu, and the food preparation was poorly executed (think bagged vegetables tossed into boiling water, with little to no seasoning). Food trickled out of the kitchen, with some guests waiting at least an hour for their dinner. What I've described is just a subset of everything that went wrong. The bartending service that we hired through Josh and C&C also fell short. Josh deposited our check on our wedding day. After our wedding I let Josh know that we were not happy with his dinner service and he's made no effort to address our complaints. The whole experience was a black mark on our wedding day. We did not get what we paid for. Find a different caterer for your wedding.
