So last year we went and did a tasting with Deborah, the bride and groom loved her food and were…read moresuper excited for all their wedding guest to try the food. Wedding day, 5/23/25, we had meatballs, bruschetta, 3 different toppings, and fruit. The bruschetta didn't not look the way it was served to us at tasting, I was disappointed, but most people paid tasted okay, the meatballs were cold, the fruit was excellent. Now to dinner, the salad, bread, and Mac-n-cheese we got for the kids was the only thing okay. The cod was dried out, and cold, the checken parm looked like a casserole that was dried out, the chicken parm looked like store bought process patties. The Gnocchi looked like big things of glue. The bride was so upset and embarrassed because she bragged to all her guest on how great her food was. Bride and groom left most their food on the plate! So very disappointing. Her staff were wonderful. So I made sure they I tipped them separately. Buyer beware! What the food tastes like at your tasting was not what you get the day of. Seriously disappointed if I could negative stars I would. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos. But I don't think anyone went back for seconds. Coordinator said there was food left over and what did I want to do with it, I told her go through it out, it was that bad.

Not only is the food incredible, but the team is amazing. The first time you talk to Stephanie, you feel like you are talking with a friend. She is so patient and has such great ideas. We had our rehearsal dinner with Butte Creek and we had them cater our wedding and from the moment we starting working with them, you could tell how much everyone actually cared about us and our event. Our rehearsal dinner was so beautiful, so delicious, and we had amazing drinks thanks to the bartending staff. We also hired Butte Creek for our day of coordination and my only regret is we did not hire them to plan the entire event. Payton is amazing and took so much stress off my plate and made sure the event was beautiful and ran without hiccups (and if there were any I didn't even notice!). The bartending services were amazing and the amount of detail that went in to setting up the bar and making sure our guests were happy was incredible. During our wedding, Coco even reminded me to take my dairy pill before the mac and cheese bar came out, can you say above and beyond? The food is delicious, the presentation beautiful, and the people truly care about making it a day you will never forget. I know our day would not have been the same without Butte Creek and I hope we're able to have another event with them in the future.

From the first meeting, we knew Mindy (owner) wouldn't disappoint. She gives you her undivided attention, and provides guidance and her expert opinion on the entire wedding event. I consider her a wedding planner, too. She always responded to texts/emails promptly. She always remembers the details of our conversations. She has a variety of food choices to fit every budget. The food we chose for our wedding was delicious!!!!! (Tri tip, chicken bruschetta, and penne pasta. Her green beans are to die for). We had more than enough food, and she even bagged up all of the leftovers for us to take home. She takes care of everything including rental items, set up and tear down, clean up, serving, etc. The presentation of the food was beautiful and she tailors it to the venue! Her entire staff is professional, clean, neat, and attentive. Mindy kept the wedding events (cake cutting, first dance, toasts, etc) on schedule so we didn't have to worry about anything during the reception. Mindy is very professional, and a great person! I highly recommend Special Times Catering - you will not be disappointed!!!!!

They always had really great ideas. The day of our wedding I really didnt feel like I needed to do a thing. The staff was really professional, and very sweet. Dani and Jennine really did a beautiful job with the table settings, all of it. The compliment I have heard the most from all my guests is "your wedding was so well organized" Which for a bride is such a wonderful thing to hear.
