Iinteresting, there are no current reviews for Mani. So let me provide one. As older reviews have noted, Mani is great at ignoring you, once he has your money. Our cameras and surveillance system (non-standard, by the way; a legitimate security company had never heard of the SW Mani uses) quit connecting to our phones, so I tried to contact Mani to fix it. A message I left was never answered, so I called a second number I have. Yay, Mani answered and cheerfully said he'd be by in the afternoon. Now, 4 days later, I have neither seen Mani nor heard from him. No regret that he can't make it, no rescheduling, just . . . . crickets. This isn't the first time Mani has flaked out on us. We loved working with Digital Surveillance. We are repeat customers of Digital Surveillance. Mani is responsive, professional and quick to respond when needed. The prices of their security cameras and Access control is competitive and they never charged me additional for any minor unforeseen issues they encountered with our buildings. Digital Surveillance installed 28 4K Security cameras for us at our new office. This is a large office and construction yard with a challenging layout. Office had high ceilings and yard was over 8 acres. Mani was able to cover the office area with wired cameras and the yard with setting up the wireless throughout the yard. I was very impressed how we got the 4k cameras over wireless. Amazing job. Digital Surveillance techs are professional and very helpful. Since writing my review ( in quotes below) I am happy to report that I have spoken to the company and it seems it was a case of crossed wires and miscommunication - but looks like we are back on track - so I am now comfortable recommending them and hoping to use them for an upgrade of our system in the future. I left my initial review as an explanation of how sometimes things do go wrong but also as an example how things get rectified - and a reminder that we are all only human! "It pains me to write this review as these guys were brilliant initially - quick set up and a great price. When we had issues they were fast to respond - so not sure what happened this year - we had some changes to our internet so needed help reconfiguring remote access - called to request an appointment and received confirmation but no one showed up. 6 weeks on we have called and emailed several times and still no response - the answering service takes our messages but says that's all they can do . So now we have to hire someone else as we don't appear to have complete admin access . And have been told as a result we will need to install a new system , especially as we want to add extra cameras. I would strongly recommend finding another company to service your surveillance needs. This guy, Mani, is incredibly unprofessional. After completing an installation, he never returned to program the equipment. So, for months, I was stuck with equipment I couldn't use. He would ignore emails, text messages, and calls. (Probably shouldn't have your "Read" receipts on, if you plan to ignore the customer.) Word of advice, even if the job is 90% completed, and he promises to return for that 10%, don't pay him until he does. He will take your money and disappear. A truly shady businessman, ready to prey on you the moment you first call for a quote. I promise you, he will take your money and run. Find another surveillance company. You'll be happier you did. The stress Mani causes isn't worth the trouble. read more

These guys know what they're doing and are honest and hard working. I work for a management company with over 50 properties ranging from 7 units to 80 units. Digital surveillance completed a 25,000 sq ft job at my place of business, equipped with 16 HD cameras and DVR. I can watch all these cameras on my phone with a crystal clear picture which is absolutely awesome. Also installed was a hybrid IP Allworx phone system and internet lines at 15 different desk locations. Digital surveillance was very helpful answering all of my questions and concerns. They also made sure to check up and make sure everything was functioning the way that it should. I normally do not write reviews, but felt this was necessary to warn anyone considering using this company. We've had Digital Surveillance install "their" cameras at our location and they constantly go bad. They do however have a 1 year warranty on their products, but don't buy in to it. When their products are faulty, the company is impossible to get a hold of. If you're lucky enough to get a hold of them it will take weeks before they come in to take a look at the issue. Like another Yelper mentioned, they like to cancel last minute or not show up at all. This is by far the worst investment I made and unfortunately it was an expensive one. I contracted with DS to install a keyless entry system for our building. I contacted their references and they all came back positive. Our 6 door plus custom gates install started mid March and was expected to take a week. Two months later the job was still not done with the fence guy doing some of the worst welding I have ever seen. Mani finally fired that welder and got a new one to fabricate 2 new gates. This welder was a pro and was in/out fast. As time went by the push-bar latches stated to fail and Mani would slowly come out and fix them. Now here it is October and another latch failed so he took it with him 3 weeks ago telling me he will get a replacement. Now he is slow to return phone calls or emails and we have a gate that is unlocked. I could not recommend this Company to anyone. As a Facility Mgr. I know that things happen but there still has to be follow through to make it right. This job was $25K. Follow up. I did finally receive, after a month, what seems to be a better latch but I had to modify the mounting bracket and install it myself. read more

I received a quote from Mani, and then requested installation. Since I work weekdays and can only do a Saturday install, it took a little time to get the job scheduled. That was the biggest problem I encountered. On installation day, Mani and his two installers got right into the job and quickly installing 4 cameras and the network receiver. After the install, Mani walked me through the home viewing system, screen views, and pulling up previously recorded video. Getting this job done on a Saturday isn't easy, so I am very pleased with Mani's patience in supporting me with my new system, and for a basic home security system, this is great! read more

The price was not too or too low since I had already have gotten couple other quotations. I decided to give them a chance because of their positive reviews on Google. The guys showed up on time to start a job and installed 13 cameras and got them on my phone all in one day. It has been 3 months since they installed the cameras and yesterday I had to replace the router and I couldn't watch cameras anymore on my phone. I called the company about the problem. Manny is an Angel. I had seen good reviews on him but I am always a skeptic. So I called him and he came over and explained a system to us and his price was by far the best price (having had three other prices from other competition). He and his crew installed our system on less than one day and made sure it all works and trained us with the software, etc. However the most important thing is that 3 yrs later when I could not see the office from my Iphone, I called Manny and he responded right away and took over my PC remotely and fix the issue in less than 5 min. I hired Digital Surveillance to install 8 cameras in my home and they did a great job. From my work I have some experience with security camera systems and I'm both happy with the cameras they installed and the functionality of the DVR. I can view the system from pretty much any Internet connected device and they did a fine job. They installed the system prior to a remodel and at no additional cost they removed the interior cameras before the remodel and reinstalled them afterwards.
