After all, we are talking about home protection, not selling shoes here. The alarm installers showed up on time, introduced themselves, and were very easy to work with. Thank you, Ulysses, Marlin, and Edison. Then we had San Marino replace our old camera system. They did a fantastic job of getting all the cameras to cover the strategic areas. I was impressed! Thank you Dennis, Victor, and Chris. I will soon replace my alarm system and cameras at my business, and recommend San Marino Security Systems to anyone who may be serious about protecting their home with an alarm and camera system. He mentioned that they were a smaller business, so I gave him as much time and opportunity as possible. Almost 6 months later, he as stopped responding to my emails and does not answer my phone calls and I do not have a proposal. I understand if they do not wish to provide service, but do not continually string a potential customer along as if they are interested and will follow through on what they said they will do. I would appreciate the honesty and have more respect for the business for providing the minimal common courtesy and some level of customer service. If this is an indication of the service they would provide, I would say that I dodged a bullet and would encourage any one else to do the same and patronize another business.

There has never been a fault in my camera setup in these three years. The reason I write again is that we replaced our laptop computers this year, and needed service to help set the software up. The company runs lean, and they do not have a normal "help desk" when you call, so you don't always get an answer or help immediately, but I still give them five stars because they care about your experience with this and they make up for it once you get their highly competent technician on your case. Joe set up the software on two computers in only a couple of minutes and it feels like these cameras are sturdy and will continue running through at least a few generations of computers.
