I called after a review on Nextdoor website. On post it said $125 to mount 56" TV. I have a 40". I also wanted a soundbar added to an existing TV (already mounted). In both cases I have everything- mounts etc. I made an appointment for January 7th (9 days from today). In speaking to a friend and revealing Kent quoted me $175-180 to do mounting. My friend told me no need to pay , he could do it. When I made appointment Kent said there was a $25 deposit to secure scheduling. I paid it immediately via Zelle link (which by the way is not recommended by Bank). I did it anyway and now it turns out Kent says it is not refundable! He is playing on Bank warnings not to use Zelle! Long story short no mention in phone conversation that deposit was non-refundable with even 9 days advance cancellation. Prices are all over the place for mounting and installation. Found a separate post on Nextdoor quoting $89 (everything included). He had nothing to provide with me. Please do not pay him via Zelle, G Ed t a price in writing and specify what it covers and get good understanding of deposit!! I am extremely disappointed in what I feel are a bit deceptive. read more

I bought a new TV and had it delivered because couldn't get a full install from where I purchased for another four weeks. I was able to contact Diaz Bros. and get my TV set up next day and for less than the big box store. I was glad to see Kent brought Derek with him since it's a very thin 65" TV. The first job by Diaz Bros was to mount 2 TVs. Kent was excellent. Efficient, clean and kind. My second job was to mount a ceiling light. Kenny arrived a few minutes outside of the timeframe they provided, but he was great as well and displayed qualities of a skilled electrician. My third job was to hide the wiring of my office equipment. This go 'round, I had trouble getting in touch with Kent, he expressed that he was swamped with work. He made arrangements to come and consolidate the wiring, which he did, and that was a huge aesthetic improvement; but I specified the descire to have the wires covered. Kent didn't have the materials needed to accomplish this and would have to order it and complet the job another day. I followed up and we scheduled a day and time to finish the job; and that day came and went. No call, no show. I reached out to see if I had my dates wrong and Kent replied apologetically for missing the appointment due to being short-staffed. That was the last message I received from anyone at Diaz Bros. There was no effort to reschedule and complete the job. I believe Diaz Bro's are good people who know what they're doing, but I have extremely low tolerance for my time being wasted as a paying customer with no consideration to reschedule or attempt to rectify the wrongdoing. read more

They moved previously mounted speakers, mounted a 120" projection screen, mounted a DLP projector, and ran tons of cabling for everything. They also spliced a 12V trigger cable for me. I am a bit of perfectionist so I was a bit nervous looking for someone to install my new 65 SUHD tv and soundbar. I knew I didn't want to see wires but and I wanted actual receptacles not just extension cords. I called a few places, some said I needed an electrician, others said they would just mount the tv. I called Kent, he got right back to me. I grilled him on what ifs and he gave me the answers I wanted to hear. He even made time for me the very next day (he'll probably get me for saying this but he even came on Sunday) to get it done for me. His guys showed up on time, were clean, respectful, everything you could ask for. We spent a little time talked about height and tilt and angles. He helped guide me to a decision , and the right decision. It looks amazing. He planned it so perfectly that all of the wires are hidden in a slot behind my soda table and the tv. It is amazing. He is such a perfectionist, which is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately I didn't have the bracket for the sound bar. He actually cam back the next day at 6pm and finished it for me. It was a big job with some hurdles but never once did he raise the price on me. It was exactly what he quoted. Honestly, you can not go wrong with Kent and Diaz Bros. They put a recessed box into the dry wall with power and HDMI cables running through the wall up behind the TV (zero cables visible). This was perfect because the new TV we bought is designed to fit flush against the wall. There were Zero hiccups and they did exactly what we wanted / envisioned. Upon arrival, they were completely prepared to take on the job ( a concrete wall) with no issue, and that same comforting tone and rapport continued during the whole install process. I can't say it enough, these guys are some of the coolest individuals you'll ever come across. Everything was finished in record time without a hitch of complication. The plasma is mounted, and everything was cleaned and re-organized after they finished. The quoted price was BEYOND fair, and WAAAAAAAY lower than anyone else I researched prior.
