All of the great things people have posted about Digital Solutionz and it's owner Shahrooz are true. We needed help setting up our entertainment system and stumbled upon his company. I called him after hours expecting to catch his voicemail but he picked up and came over for a consultation the very next day. We explained what we wanted and how we wanted to use our system. We also told him that this is not our permanent home so we didn't want anything that would require cutting walls, we would save that project for our next home. Shahrooz gave us some great additional suggestions like using an Apple TV for streaming and a couple of Sonos speakers for our home inside and out. He gave us an install date a few days later, he came in and knocked it out of the park. His work is very clean, he used furniture pads everywhere to protect our new floors, he took all of the empty boxes, and he even vacuumed when he was done. He left our house cleaner than when he arrived. read more

This was our first experience with Digital Solutionz and now I would never use anyone else. Shahrooz went above and beyond to understand what we wanted, help us decide what would work best in our living room, and he worked with us to keep everything at a price we could afford. He made personal consultation visits out to our home a couple times to scope the space, meet 1:1 to answer our questions, and review all of the possible options and configurations we could use. The day of install was seamless. He made sure every last detail was 100% perfect before he wrapped up. Now our new TV and sound system are our favorite part of our new home. If I could give him 6 stars I would! read more

Digital Solutionz - Fireplace mount - Home Theatre Installation Near Me

My partner and I recently moved and needed to have the TV mounted on the wall. Seems like something we should be able to do ourselves, but there was the cable box to fit in somehow and we didn't want to see any wires. And, we didn't want it to fall down a day later. So we turned to Yelp and found the highly rated Digital Solutionz. We're happy to say Shahrooz lives up to all those stars. His casual but professional demeanor put us at ease. He listened to what we wanted and he offered (without being pushy) ideas to make the whole setup better. For example, he suggested we consider adding a sound bar, since our flat-screen TV doesn't have great built-in speakers. I initially saw this as a red flag -- he's trying to upsell us on additional equipment. And he would have sold us one, but he also said we were welcome to get one on our own and he'd install it. He even suggested a model to look for when we told him we wanted it to be silver, rather than the standard black. Syncing our schedules was a bit of a challenge and it's easy to get impatient when your TV has been sitting on the floor for weeks. But when someone is good at what he does, he's going to be in demand. Just keep trying and he will get back to you. And it will be worth it. He arrived on time for the appointment, took care to protect floors and furniture, and meticulously made sure everything about the installation was centered and level. He cleaned up the debris and then took the time to show me how everything works in a friendly, helpful way. We highly recommend Shahrooz. read more

THE BEST! Shahrooz wired my entire office in San Francisco for my business which included TV's, Projection equipment, Stereos, computer network, printers, etc. He helped pick out all equipment and set up the office perfect. Shahrooz also handled all of our technology when we built our house. He wired the entire house, including 7 TV's and DVR's, a 110" projection TV, 55 built-in speakers inside and out, Intercom system, security system, computer network, a sound system that can be accessed throughout the house, etc. Shahrooz helped us with every aspect for all of our technology at my office as well as at my house, including; all our wiring, planning, choosing equipment and he continues to work with us when ever we need anything that relates to technology. I have referred Shahrooz to many friends of mine who feel like I do, that he is the best in the business. There really aren't too many people that I have dealt with in any field that has the level of knowledge, provides the level of service or is as trust worthy as you will find with Shahrooz. read more

I have used this company professionally and personally for about 8 years and have received nothing but the best quality service and professionalism. I have used them for random computer/laptop fixes, virus fixes, rebuilding computers, network wiring and installation and even in-home entertainment equipment installation. Each service was completed correctly and beautifully the first time. The owner really cares about details and customer/client satisfaction. He is very good at listening to what I want and need. I have tried other companies but have not received the same service and will never make the mistake of going elsewhere ever again. Value: You will get the best bang for your buck. read more

My company hired Digital Solutionz to install 8 of our new computers (the ones that our previous tech company left sitting on our office floor for 6 months!) and update our network a couple months ago. This was our first time working with them. They were very professional, responsive, and easy to work with. We couldn't be happier! I look forward to having a reason to utilize Digital Solutionz again in the future. read more

Whenever we need help with our TV's or Computers Shahrooz is the one and only person we will ever call. He is extremely professional and very easy to deal with. He is highly knowledgeable and friendly. We had him install our Home Theater system recently and he was back out today to upgrade our computer systems. He setup a brand new MacBook Pro as well as a new iPad for us. Everything is working just like he said it would and he took his time to explain how everything works. My favorite thing about Digital Solutionz is that once the job is completed he always follows up with us to ensure we are completely satisfied. Shahrooz is one amazing human being. I sent him a message this morning (a Saturday, mind you) asking for an estimate on what it would take to get my home wifi system working and he called me early this afternoon. My problem is that I've got Comcast, am using their rental "gateway" (wireless modem plus router) and it is a useless piece of junk. Can't stream Netflix unless it's to the computer it's hard-wired to. Can't get reliable internet access from 50 feet away. This is Comcast's Arris model TG862G/CT, by the way. So Shahrooz very carefully explained that this is a common problem, and that I needed a separate modem and router, and he talked about the specific brands and models he recommends (router: ASUS RT-AC87U, modem: ARRIS TM822G (apparently ARRIS makes perfectly good modems, it's just that these combo modem/routers don't work well)). He also told me that, though these two new bits of hardware may fix the problem, some homes have issues getting a good signal from one room to the next, and it's possible that I might need to get something called Enterprise-grade hard-wiring to resolve my problem, but that the most reasonable course of action was to just try the new modem and router first. Fairly early in our conversation, he realized that I'm located outside his service area (I was hoping to tempt him down with brownies or something, but he said their liability coverage only extended to specific zip-codes). At this point, I expected that he would politely wish me luck and get off the phone. But no. This guy proceeds to spend at least 10 minutes explaining very specifically what I needed to do to install the modem and router myself. He was never condescending, he was exceptionally patient and clear. I wrote down his advice, and then sent him a message thanking him for his time. He sends me back an entire PAGE of step-by-step instructions on how to connect up the modem and router, what to tell comcast when I call them to activate my new modem, not to take "no" for an answer, AND, after all this, he encouraged me to contact him again if I had any problems! I mean, maybe if my best friend was half this tech-savvy she might spend this much time with me, but this guy doesn't know me at all, and isn't going to earn one cent from me for all that he's done. This guy renews my faith in mankind. I have half a mind to MOVE to his service area just so I could take advantage of his skills down the road! read more

I have hired many people from different company to set up my TV with surround sound and ect. They charged me a lot and did a poor job.I contacted Digital Solutionz and the owner, Sharooz Hariri just installed a 80 inch TV in my living room and did a excellent job and for a great price. He even fixed up the poor job that was done by the last guys who installed the 70 inch TV with surround sound. He explained to me on how to work the universal remote, that he has programmed for me. I can really tell he cares about customer satisfaction, and he takes pride in his work and does a great job and couldn't ask for any better. Overall I am very happy with his service. He even works on the weekends which is a huge plus for me! I am planning on contacting Digital Solutionz for all my TV, surround sound, computer, and security camera needs! 10/10! read more

He was on time and professional. He was able to remove the virus and he also setup an online backup so that all of my family pictures will be saved. While he was here he also checked my other laptop too. I was extremely happy to have found him and the next time I need computer repair or home theater installation I will be calling him for sure. We recently contacted Sharooz for a pretty extensive install. He helped us with TV mounting, a complete system re-wire (that was no easy task), updated our surround sound speakers, receiver, universal remote programming and helped with our media cabinet layout. The entire process was incredibly courteous, professional and meticulous. The job was done on time and the communication was always straight forward and honest. I have to also say that Sharooz goes above and beyond what was even agreed on. Whenever something was wrong, even if it was something that was done by the prior owner. It was fixed with no issue, cost or headache. In addition he added extra lines to grow with our future system needs as well as tossing in a pair of extra speakers for outside! Lastly, we had some speaker interference problems and a few wifi issues about a week after and within 2 days he came back out and immediately resolved these small problems and made sure we were happy. The guy is the best. It may take a little longer to book him, but it's absolutely worth it. read more

My father had a home theater system that was installed 13 years ago by a company that was the opposite of Digital Solutionz. In other words, they were unprofessional, minimally competent, and never could get things working perfectly. This week my father hired Shahrooz, largely based on his Yelp reviews, and here I am writing another 5-star Yelp review for his company. Shahrooz did an incredible job for my father. Not only did he recommend, install, and configure a new Marantz receiver, Parasound amplifier, Sonos Connect, AppleTV, customized Universal Remote, network switch, Sony UHD TV, and IR-RF repeater, but he got everything working so perfectly and so easily that for the first time in over a decade, my father can actually use all of the hardware he purchased. I have used Digital Solutionz for 4 separate projects at my home over the last 3-4 years. We first hired them to do a complete home theater install in our living room. We had an old light taken out of the ceiling and then track (recessed lights) installed across the room. We also had 6 x 8" speakers installed in the ceiling and a subwolfer as well. All the wires were completely hidden and wired into a panel behind our flat screen. They were great about cleaning up after cutting into the ceiling. The patch work was excellent as well. We also had 6 low-voltage wires and lights installed in the front of the home that was put on a timer system. The next project we had done was a complete in-home wiring of switches, cat-6 Ethernet + coax for DirectTv and telephone (Comcast). Now each room in our 3 story home is hard wired and has screw-less lighting switches and power outlets. It is top notch!!!. This was essential since our home is originally from the 1920's and the original wiring was faulty. Comcast was unwilling to rewire after 5-6 complaints to their customer service, so I asked Digital Solutionz to rewire it all. Since then, we have had zero issues with broadband and telephone. We went back to Digital Solutionz to install an outdoor speaker system. They wired everything thru the crawl space to the main system so that we have Zone 2 in our backyard with all weather speakers. They even installed a second line of speaker wire into our master bedroom for a future install of speakers in there when we are ready. The last project we used them for was a flat screen install in our master bedroom. They installed a flat screen TV, ran Ethernet and HDMI wires through the ceiling and wall so that the components were on the other side of the wall. Everything is so clean and works great. The owner is really sharp and does an excellent job of explaining what they are doing before doing it. Knowing what is about to go down really makes a difference because it removes the stress from the project. Without a doubt, I would recommend these guys for any home theater install or computer needs. We are considering to have a camera system installed on the perimeter of the home and know that Digitial Solutionz will get the job right the first time. A+ in quality and service! read more

I would highly recommend Digital Solutionz and Sharooz Hariri to my relatives and best friends without reservation. When I called with my "home theatre" questions and plans, Sharooz was able to schedule the next day, (lucky!), and updated his ETA by phone, (allowing me to do things besides waiting at the door for hours). Sharooz immediately remedied rookie mistakes I had made, considered my "vision", and explained the reasonable solutions to match my budget. He has knowledge of A and V pieces, their pricing, and the expertise to make it all work. I will call him when I am ready to build and finish my home's entertainment "systems". Mr. Hariri refused any remuneration for his consultation. He is a gentleman, and I give Digital Solutionz the highest rating. Thanks! read more

Our entertainment system is about 15 years old. When it went down for the count last week, we were dreading the task of finding a new serviceperson to work on it. We had factored the entertainment components into a construction remodel at the time, and other than some minor upgrades, we were still happy with the system (the original installers had dissolved his business). But it was 15 years old, with 15 year old wiring and technology and ..... I am so glad we found Shahrooz. With our initial phone contact, he explained that he was completing another job but offered a very reasonable time when he could come by and assess the problem. The day before our appointment, he called me to give me an expected arrival time, then that day called to confirm when he was an hour away. He was professional and personable, and his diagnostics were thorough. Not only was he able to repair the issue during that visit, he also corrected an additional problem I threw at him. He also had some solutions if the time came when we would have to replace aging parts of the system. We will definitely use Shahrooz and Digital Solutionz again...for both the entertainment system.....and the 10 year old computer set up in our office...... Mahalo, Shahrooz. read more

AMAZING, that's all I can say, AMAZING. We called Digital Solutionz after hours Wednesday night and within 10 minutes of our call, Sharooz called us back, scheduled time that very evening to come by and take a look at our TV and discuss how we wanted it mounted. We told him we were somewhat in a rush since we had a party scheduled for Saturday. He assessed the problem, suggested how best to install everything and scheduled time to come Saturday morning to do the work. Come Saturday, he and his team showed up on time and completed the work ahead of schedule! They did an absolutely immaculate job! I can't express how good it looks! They even discovered and capped a live wire that was in the wall in between our living room and garage that we didn't even know existed. Digital Solutionz is an excellent service for home networks. Our home network is complicated, involving two computers directly connected, several others wirelessly, and a high end router along with a Comcast box. Basically, we have a lot of devices that don't play nicely with each other because they all have different automatic settings. Digital Solutionz was able to come the day I called (a weekend) and fix the problem within an hour. Not only that, they fixed the unreliable streaming to the television. Great service, great communication, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend. read more

very friendly, knows his stuff, cares a lot about customer satisfaction I don't know much about the new technology, and Shahrooz was patient and gave me good advice. We had 3 TVs mounted, a sound bar, and universal remote that allowed us to get all the components out of the room and hidden away in a cabinet. Shahrooz remembered all my questions and concerns from various emails and conversations and addressed them all - getting closed caption, making sure we hear the dialog on the TV, hiding the wires, etc. We bought components from him and he is just like a dealer, i.e. warranties in force, serial numbers etc. The installation is beautiful, neat, streamlined and he put in new outlets as well. made a huge difference in how the rooms look. My Yahoo email account and Facebook page were recently hacked. After spending several hours trying to contact Facebook and Yahoo to try to figure out what happened I finally decided to hire a professional. I called Digital Solutionz after reading all of their 5 Star reviews. Shahrooz drove out to my house on time and removed all kinds of viruses and spyware from my machine. He also showed me how to change all of my passwords and reset them on my phone as well. Hopefully the viruses are gone but it's good to know that professionals like Shahrooz are out there. Shahrooz did a terrific job concerning two separate installations. After the installations, I had a few issues and contacted him. Sometimes it took a week, but he eventually responded. However, in the last 4-5 months I have left him emails, texts and phone calls. They have all been ignored. Now I have to pay someone else to learn mny system and repair some of the issues. This is disappointing as I had hoped to have a long lasting relationship with someone who could take care of my ongoing home electronic needs. In reviewing my emails and texts, I find I may have been a bit hasty in the above review. There was an instance where I received no response a problem with my system (Apple TV) and a need to perhaps improve the system.. This was in mid-May. On a later occasion , I did contact Sharooz about installation of security cameras and he responded the very next day. I find I am the type of person who sometimes cannot wait long, especially if there is an ongoing problem. I apologize to Sharooz for the above exaggeration. The problem is that he created a good system but I depend on him to rectify any issues when something occassionally goes wrong. read more

Shahrooz is fantastic! We were remodeling our master bedroom and a room that would become both a home theater and guest room. He listened to what we were trying to do and he designed a system that has worked better than we could have anticipated. Since we were remodeling two rooms, Shahrooz proposed and installed everything. I questioned his quote, did my own research, and I ended up not changing anything that he proposed. * 1 Marantz receiver that delivers the sound for both rooms * Sony projector and in-ceiling screen (home theater) * Sony TV (master bedroom) * Sonance in-ceiling speakers (both rooms), subwoofer and outdoor speakers for patio * Apple TV, Roku, XBox, Uverse boxes * SonosConnects for three zones * Universal remotes that work from both He worked with our general contractor to hide all electronics out of view in a media cabinet, and ensured that he was always ready when the rooms were ready for his work. And when he was done, he handed over universal remotes for each room that are so easy to use that he did not even have to explain how to work it. All of it just works. I have since had a couple follow up questions for him, and he has immediately responded to my questions. He is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Five Stars all the way. read more

We bought a new house and needed to mount the television over the fireplace in a recessed setting. The television we purchased fits the hole perfectly with a 1 inch border. I contacted Shahrooz. He arrived on time to give an estimate. Of course, what I thought was a simple install was "complex" and "difficult". It would take six hours, but that included the wiring for the surround sound. I advised that I only needed the television installed as the house was pre-wired. He wouldn't budge. Six hours. At $95 per. Shahrooz recommended a mount. $500. Online it was $300. When I called to schedule, he was ready to set up an appointment. I advised that I had purchased the recommended mount online and that it arrived today. Suddenly he wasn't so interested in my six hour installation of the television and wiring of the surround speakers. But we confirmed a date. I called on the day before to confirm arrival time. Shahrooz was "sick". We'd have to postpone. When I reached him the following week, Shahrooz was "behind" and would have to wait another week. He's been dodging my calls for a week. He sent me an email that he wouldn't do the installation. He was still "sick" (two weeks later) and "behind" on his appointments. I advise that it would be difficult to locate another installer that was familiar with the mount that he recommended. Sharooz chirped that he didn't tell me to buy the mount online and that that was my problem. This joker over charges for installation and makes even more money on overpriced equipment.
