Working with Digital Solutionz was a great experience from start to finish. I just completed a full remodel and needed some AV solutions for the TV family room. Working with Shahrooz, he guided us through each step and helped us decide what we wanted for this room. He was extremely knowledgeable and willing with work with in our budget. When it came to the installation day, he was on time and made everything fit, and sound perfectly, not to mention how clean he was through the entire process. After installing it all, he took the time to walk me through all of the new components, to show how it all worked. I would strongly recommend Digital Solutionz , they are amazing. read more

Won't return my call....I called this weekend and left a voicemail with a question about an issue I'm having with my HDMI connection. Asked if they could have someone come out and take a look....it's been 5 days and no response.....Business must be good, but not for long with that type of customer service. read more

I am writing to highly recommend Shahrooz. His work was efficient, neat, and high-quality, and we are so pleased with the end result. When I first contacted Shahrooz he was very prompt in returning my call and scheduling a consultation. The estimate was also provided in a timely manner. We had to postpone the work as a couple of unexpected house projects popped up, but Shahrooz was proactive about getting back in touch to see if he could help us complete the media side of the project. In addition to completing the installation, he also took the time to walk us through what he had done, how to navigate the new systems, and also give us some suggestions about home network improvements and future projects. I really appreciate that he was generous with his time and knowledge, as I don't have any familiarity with media components. We will definitely work with him in the future for any other home theatre projects. Don't waste your time with other companies who claim to be able to do what Shahrooz offers. Just call Shahrooz, and rest assured that he will handle it correctly the first time! read more

Late to post this review but wanted to credit Shahrooz with doing a great job installing, wiring, and troubleshooting my new home's media and network set-up. He was fast, efficient, and effective in getting media system set up in two zones; he did a great job of installing ceiling speakers professionally. On the network set-up, he installed a switch and had to troubleshoot around some faulty wiring in order to get all areas of the home network up and running. Overall, I highly recommend Shahrooz on both the planning and installation fronts. Great guy! read more

Shahrooz really knows his stuff!! He helped us install our home theater system when we moved into our new home and we couldn't be happier! He offers great advice on what to get / what not to get and is just an all round great, knowledgeable guy. He is also brilliant about coming back if you have any questions post installation. Thoroughly recommend. read more

What a disappointment. I was super excited to contact this vendor because of the reviews. When I contacted him a week ago he said he was booked for a week. But he would be able to come the following week. I agreed to wait. He promised to call first thing on Monday to schedule the appointment. I called to follow up on Tuesday after I did not receive a call. He nicely apologized and said he would come Tuesday but that he would call me to let me know what time. Again I called today Thursday since I did not get a call. He than NOW tells me he wants to help but is too busy. :-( One man shop, no way to do business. I appreciate that fact that he is good to be so busy, but would have appreciated an upfront response instead of dragging it to be nice. read more

A quick follow up. We had Directv come out and swap out our boxes because the old ones were, well old. After they left we noticed that some of our devices were not working. I called Shahrooz in a panic because we were having family in from out of town. He shot right over and showed me how Directv unplugged all of the other HDMI cables from the back of the receiver in their haste to get to the next job. Since I had asked Shahrooz to come out to fix something that he didn't break I was expecting to pay him a service fee. He simply said 'don't worry about it', shook my hand and told me to enjoy my time with my visitors. Can't ask for anything better than that. Simply amazing. read more

Shahrooz did a great job for me installing OLED tv and sound bar. Fantastic work, stayed to explain new install. Would definitely use him again, he is a pro. read more

Highly recommend Digital Solutions for any of your home theater and AV needs. Kind, quick service, and client satisfaction are what Shahrooz is all about!! I will definitely be calling him for all future AV needs. read more

Shahrooz showed up on a Sunday morning on 12 hrs. notice to rescue me out from an audiovuisual morass - although no stranger to the finer points of tech I'd gotten in over my head trying to add equipment to a 10-yr old system I was house-sitting. He came in with a positive attitude, an open mind and listening ears. Before long he'd made a few setting changes, a few connections and we were back in business. He even hung around a while to share a few war stories. This is a very experienced gentleman who doesn't have a need to show you he knows everything about A/V - but he probably does! Will gladly work with him again. Tom read more

I've had to deal with a few different audio and video specialists over the years but that won't happen anymore... Shahrooz was amazing the whole way through giving me amazing advice on how to setup my home theater system as well as different tv setups throughout my home. While I have pretty decent knowledge in television and audio setup, he was so well versed in letting me know what made most sense both visually and financially. I won't ever deal with any other audio and visual specialist. read more

Shahrooz is the bomb! He arrives on time and if he's late, he'll text and let you know. He is patient and does great work...he installed cameras outside, wired our house (inside and out) for music, and put boosters in for wifi. Since I'm in my 60's, had tough time initially trying to decipher, but he was patient with my husband and me and has done an exceptional job! read more

Awesome support. We had a serious network and computer issue this week. Contacted them and scheduled an appointment. Showed up promptly on time, did an outstanding job, recommended a different virus detection that you buy direct so there is no markup on the price. Installed the software, did scans of the machines for malware and viruses and done. Would definitely use again. read more

I did not actually use this company, however, I would defintely not hesitate to do so in the future. I was having computer problems and called Digital Solutionz and Shahrooz answered. I told him my computer problem, and he was upfront regarding his schedule and told me he was booked for the next couple of weeks. However, he still asked about my issue, and took the time to give me possible solutions to try to fix it. He was so professional, and even though busy, and not getting paid to help me, he still took time to explain the steps i can take to try to resolve my issues. It was refreshing to talk to somebody who clearly cared about the customer, and not just making money. read more

Tired of our wifi not working well in the house and with the prospect of our two college sons being home for weeks during the holidays, I contacted Digital Solutionz for help based on positive YELP reviews. They lived up to expectations! Shahrooz was helpful on the phone and a pleasure to work with in person. He is knowledgeable and personable. Good sense of humor. He got the job done quickly and checked in with us after a few days to see how it was going. When coverage in the master bedroom was not ideal, he came back and adjusted it no questions asked. Terrific experience. Highly recommend! read more

Digital SolutionZ has been my one and only IT company for the past 18 months. I have been through many for small little things and was always disappointed. I can't afford to have my computer go down. I needed a computer system upgrade but was afraid to trust just anyone. A friend recommended Sharooz. He completely set up my new computer system for my small business with no hassle on my part and everything worked that same day! His rates are very reasonable. He is personable, honest and my go-to guy. You can't go wrong here. read more

Shahrooz installed my new computer recently. My old one went dead and I needed a replacement ASAP. I called him and he told me exactly what to buy and where to go, then got me up and running immediately. He is very pleasant to work with, professional, and a real pro. He will patiently answer any question you have -- I had plenty since I don't know much about computers. He even helped me back up my system disks over the phone the next day since I was unsure of what I was doing. He does not mind answering questions even after the job is done. Most of all, he is an honest and trust worthy person, that's why I chose him to do my installation again after the first one he did for me 4 years ago. I highly recommend him to anyone! read more

My hard drive was failing so I was faced with either buying a new laptop or getting a new hard drive installed with all the data transfers and setup issues involved with that. Shahrooz took care of the hard drive replacement for me over a weekend so I was up and running by the next work week. He was very professional and accommodating, willing to pick up the PC in Oakland, although it turned out to be easy for me to drop it off in Pleasant Hill. He also spent time beforehand researching the error message I was receiving to see whether it was valid or a virus so I would know the lay of the land prior to any decision to use his services. I'll definitely use him again for similar problems. read more

This experience was as good as it gets. Very knowledgeable, helpful and willing to do the work to make sure it is done right. I wanted to mount a TV on the wall. He made sure it was clear of electrical, pipes on the other side of the wall. The internal TV mount had been broken by the last person who mounted the TV (in OH). He took the TV apart, affixed new internal mounts with epoxy (stronger than factory specs) and mounted it. Customer Service was also top notch. He called let me know he was on the way, kept in touch via e-mail/phone, did not pressure in any way. Additionally, he showed me some tricks on existing equipment I had to max performance. He is the first and only person I would trust with my home electronics, computers and tvs. A definite repeat. GO RAIDERS! read more

Digital Solutionz is deserving of my first yelp review. Unbelievable service, meticulous work & reasonable pricing! It's no wonder why they are so busy & highly recommended. Would definitely be using his services again & recommend to anyone looking for a top notch company! read more

The monitor of my all-in-one computer went out and I called Digital Solutionz. Shahrooz was able to retrieve all the data on my hard drive and transfer it to my 2nd computer. Here' s what I particularly liked about Shahrooz: 1) he seemed to know his stuff; he correctly diagnosed the problem as the monitor, not the computer, and he had the right equipment to retrieve the data from my hard drive. 2) he explained things simply so that I could understand and asked the right questions to help me make the necessary decisions. 3) he gave good advice, eg, not destroying the hard drive immediately in case he'd missed transferring something (he didn't, but it would be easy to miss something, so I appreciated the extra cautiuon). We are planning to get a new tv in the fairly near future and I plan to hire him for the installation. read more

We recently relocated out of state. Right before our move my husband dropped the new remote and the screen stopped working = one very angry man! I contacted Shahrooz...and he came to our rescue again! He picked up the remote and mailed it back to Universal but said he wasn't sure wether or not they'd replace. Lucky us, Universal ended up replacing it and mailing it back to Shahrooz. He spent time reprogramming it and then mailed it to us out of state, without any fee. Now if that's not an amazing customer service, I'm not sure what is! Thank you, Shahrooz. Above and beyond!! Give him a call, you won't regret it. read more

First time Yelp reviewer and it is all because of Shahrooz. We have pretty spotty Wi-Fi and a fairly unconventional home layout. Shahrooz came by and confirmed both and then proceeded to provide use with several options - both wired and wireless. And he provided pros and cons, including cost estimates, ultimately providing a recommended first step. And he even took the time to fix a resolution issue we were having with our TV. And get this - he did not charge anything for his time or his consultation. He is very knowledgeable - I highly recommend him and if the wireless option we discussed (which I am going to try and install myself) does not work, I will definitely hire him to install the wired option. 5 stars plus! read more

I wish I would have know about Digital Solutionz when I first opened my business 5 years ago. I called Digital Solutionz to run two CAT6 cable from a server room out to a workstation and I could not be more satisfied. Shahrooz (the owner) was punctual and very professional. I was expecting to have to vacuum after he was done cutting sheet rock for the wall plate but he taped it off before cutting and left my office as clean as it was when he got there. I will definitely be using him againg in the future. read more

I knew I wanted a new TV and probably a smart TV but that was about the extent of my knowledge. Wasn't sure which, if any, of my old components, speakers, etc. would work with the newest products on the street. I spent a day shopping online and in stores but walked away dazed and confused. I called Digital Solutionz based on yelp reviews. Sharooz set up a time to come to my home and see what I had and discuss what I wanted to accomplish. He never once asked me about a budget but came back with a proposal that was less than I anticipated spending for a far better system than I imagined. During the installation, he was neat and professional explaining in detail the function of each component. I am very, very pleased with my new system. I would recommend Sharooz for his knowledge, professionalism, attention to detail and the fact that he listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. read more

Digital Solutionz, Shahrooz, really did amazing work on our home. He completely rewired our previous CAT5 home with "wall controls" and converted all speakers to a 7 zone iphone/Sonos system. Overall our project was quite large with industrial Wifi and 5 access points and 6 televisions and a central control cabinet, Tivos, apple TVs, etc.... so the project took 3 months due to some of our construction issues. Shahrooz did a great job of working with (and often managing) various painters and electrical contractors to get the job done efficiently and more importantly correctly. Shahrooz didn't ever cut corners and really paid attention to the details which translated to a very sleek and "clean" system install that looks and sounds amazing and is very user friendly. I am sure there are folks cheaper than Shahrooz but he really was a value for what you get if you are interested in quality and custom install with little hassle factor. read more

Digital Solutionz - Home Theatre Installation Near Me

I needed a smart panel cleaned up in my home, and I saw the great reviews of digital solutions, and decided to give them a call. I spoke to Sharooz on the phone and he explained to me that he can do the job but not until next month. I told him I'm fine with waiting because I saw your reviews and you guys do great work it seems like. He asked me to text him pictures of my panel so I did. After sending the pictures I never received a response for a couple of days, so I responded again asking if he received the pictures. Still I received no response so I simply asked him if he can do the job or not...still no response. I've been doing business myself for years and this is nowhere near professional. I don't know how he has so many good reviews. He wasted my time. I hope he doesn't waste yours. read more

Shahrooz installed a 65" flat screen TV on our wall with no hassle whatsoever. He is a gentleman who knows exactly what he's doing and I'd recommend him to anyone. There are lot of people who offer cheaper prices but I'd be amazed if they did half as good a job as Shahrooz. The installation was seamless and if we ever need any more AV work done we now who we'll call. read more

We bought a Sonos system and needed to have it installed. Great service from the owner of the company. He came over that afternoon and installed it and gave us as much time as we needed to make sure we understood how to work the different zones. Great service, thanks! read more

I had such a positive experience working with Digital Solutionz and Sharooz in particular. He worked with my schedule, showed up right on time, and when it turned out that the work I needed was minimal, Sharooz even offered to do it for free. After finding out his hourly rate, we struck a deal and he left making it worth his while and my home theater system was set up to go. He patiently took the time to walk me through making things work smoothly and offered some tips about how to make sure everything hooks up correctly next time (just take photos of every. single. hookup). I'm very grateful for his work. read more

Shahrooz from Digital Solutionz is the absolute best. I have been using his services for a more than a year and a half. I am an interior designer and am often in need of an audio video specialist. Not only have I used him in my own home, but have recommended him for jobs at several of my clients' homes with excellent results. He is professional, personable and practical. He keeps up with new products and does not recommend solutions that are unnecessary. He is a great advisor in a field that is a mystery to most people! read more

I would give Sharooz 10 stars if I could!!! Professional customer care and excellent quality service like his seems much too rare these days - which is why I so greatly appreciate what he delivers. We needed a TV and speaker system installed on a wall with a new outlet as well and this was around the holidays so Sharooz was pretty booked up when I first spoke to him. We almost went with someone else to get it done sooner but other companies I spoke with did not come across as professional over the phone so we decided to wait for Sharooz. When he came to do the installation, he was completely friendly and courteous and the quality of the installation was impeccable. I have not experienced that level of quality of service in a long time... he even sent us a thank you card after the installation. We were completely impressed with him and I highly recommend him. read more

Sharooz provides everything one would want from a home entertainment business and more! He is timely and responsive: I had been trying to get many other service providers to my home for some sound system upgrades. Either my calls were not answered or the technician would come to my house but never come back. He is knowledgable: Sharooz has vastly improved my entertainment system. He has also saved me hundreds of dollars with his ideas. He is responsible" Sharooz has always kept me posted on the progress of my projects. He promptly gets things ordered and installed. He is reasonable: Sharooz is interested in providing the best solution to my needs and requests. He doesn't try to upsell. In fact he has talked me out of things if they were not really practical and/or necessary for my system. He goes the extra mile: Sharooz has either called me or come over even if its just a small adjustment needed to my system. He is friendly and personable: Sharooz makes you feel like one of his old friends. As he says: "I treat everyone like one of my family". He gets a sixth star:If there was an extra star available for going above and beyond expectations Sharooz would earn it. He is the best of the best and worth every penny! If all businesses ran like Sharooz runs his, we wouldn't need Yelp! read more

We can't say enough about the quality of the work and service that Digital Solutionz performed for us. We invited Sharooz to bid on hard wiring our entire home for internet and installing a complete home theater system in our family room. We had previously had less than optimal experiences with other "professional" home theater installers, so we approached engaging Sharooz with a skeptical eye. The end result is a home that is wired more professionally than many offices we've worked in! Sharooz is knowledgeable in all things digital and stays on top of the latest tech developments - no easy task in that fast moving industry. He was patient in finding out what we needed and carefully worked inside our budget. He does what he says and says what he'll do - no surprises. Long after completing the job, we needed him to come back to address some installation work that Comcast had done and he happily came back, cleaned up their mess and did so at no charge. While it only took him a little more than an hour to do the work, the fact that he decided it made more sense to not charge us for that hour or so of his time, speaks volumes as to his long view approach to business. You will not be disappointed. read more
