    If we could give 10 stars, or even 100, we would. If you want the best system done the best way, Shahrooz is who you want. He did an upgrade on our living room TV in December. It's fantastic, we absolutely love it. He was back this week to hang a TV in our family room. We never thought someone could hang a TV on our travertine fireplace, so we'd dismissed the idea for over 10 years, even though it's the best viewing room in the house. Shahrooz encountered several challenges during this install, but he never gets rattled or worried. He's so calm with whatever challenges arise, and he quickly comes up with a solution every time. His knowledge of all aspects of electrical and gas saved us issues and kept us safe! His kindness and patience walking us through app installs and updates was amazing. We are beyond thrilled and would 1000% recommend him for any job. Thank you, Shahrooz!

    I recently had the pleasure of working with Sharooz for my home office stereo setup, and I couldn't be happier with the results.     Excellent Customer Service!…read more I recently hired Scott at Diamondback Home Theater to mount three, large screen TVs in my Scottsdale Home. From my first contact with Scott to the completion of the project, I could not have been more pleased. Scott was great at communicating in advance of his service. We discussed the project, my expectations, and specific needs. Importantly, I did not want to see any wires and that some of the mounting locations would be difficult, including one wall that was curved. Scott kept me apprised of his schedule via text and arrived promptly. He brought the perfect mounts for each location and his price for the mounts was very reasonable. Meticulous in his work, Scott put down tarps to protect our floors and carpeting. He measured everything carefully in advance, ran new Romex wire behind the walls and installed new outlets behind the TVs. He connected the RF boxes via HDMI and hid the boxes behind the TVs, as well. The result was a very clean and streamlined look in each room and TVs that function perfectly. The price for the entire project was very reasonable for the amount of work done. Scott was friendly and courteous throughout the project and a pleasure to have in our home. I would definitely contract with Scott/Diamondback Home Theater again and highly recommend him.

    DO NOT get Control4. We moved into a house that already had it and were told this company, who had…read moreset it up for the original owner, would transfer whatever was necessary over to us in a "welcome to your new home" appointment. Well, that appointment somehow grew into 3, took months, and cost $1000 for something that will never be used again. Appointments kept getting "scheduled incorrectly," taking way longer than was estimated, and then we got slapped with a bill way higher than was originally estimated. I really wish I had known something about Control4 because it's a dealer locked scam of a system, and in 2026, it's completely obsolete. Anything Control4 can do can be done by yourself using Home Assistant or other smart home systems, but you cannot do anything with Control4 without calling your dealer and paying money, even for the simplest things like adding a new device. I so dearly wish I never got involved with any of this at all.

Hiring them was one of the worst decisions we've ever made. They charged an outrageous $4,000 to install 25 feet of LED strip lighting, took three months to finish what should have been a simple job, and still failed to deliver anything remotely acceptable. The "work" (if you can even call it that) was a disaster from start to finish: Unbelievable Incompetence - It took multiple failed attempts, four visits over three months, my husband repeatedly meeting with them in person, and they still couldn't get it right. The LED strip in the master bedroom failed entirely, and their so-called "experts" clearly had no idea what they were doing, from design to execution. Major Safety Hazard - Most egregiously, their botched installation could have burned down our home. After notifying Oasis we could not trust them anywhere near this project any longer, we called in a REAL lighting professional, who promptly pulled out the wiring and showed us that Oasis' garbage installation with incompatible components resulted in a melted connector inside the wall. We'd smelled the burning for some time before the LED driver blew out, thankfully protecting us and our property from an electrical fire. Shocking Lack of Professionalism - Their team spray-painted indoors without any protection, leaving a mess on our floors, broke wires in the kitchen, and generally bumbled something every visit. Communication was abysmal. Repeated requests for updates over the life of the project were ignored. Meetings with their rep, Ben, were useless because he apparently couldn't wrap his head around the design, despite being provided visual aids, and the technicians didn't even follow the agreed-upon plan. Total Waste of Time & Money - After months of frustration and thousands of dollars wasted, we were left with a non-functional, dangerous installation. And despite their catastrophic failure, they had the audacity to send us an invoice for the remainder of the $4,000. This company is a bunch of clowns and a scam and a liability. Do not trust them with your home. If you value your safety, your time, and your hard-earned money, RUN in the opposite direction. ---------------- Clarification on the response below. There was NOT "quite a bit" of additional work. It was 6ft of lighting in the kitchen, 16.9 feet of lighting in the master and the materials necessary for both. Neither of these were some wild design that your industry has never heard of. Standard LED lighting. And the master bedroom was by far the larger of the two requirements. My husband asked MULTIPLE times as this project was going off the rails to speak with you. Never heard a thing. Maybe you should have a word with your staff. ALSO - our designer called you and had a conversation with you earlier this month to let you know how wrong this has gone and ask for your help. Did we hear from you then? Nope. So spare me the story that this is news to you. As for you reaching out, my husband just now found your response to our notice of dispute of the final invoice. Well after the project ended. It's really too little too late, unfortunately. Leadership was absent through this entire ordeal on every level. A refund and "We're terribly sorry" is indeed the only right answer here. ---------------- Update as of 2/24/2025: No surprise here - Justin and his team still haven't issued the refund they promised. Instead of taking responsibility, their response to this review was to try and bury it by creating a fake 5-star rating the very next day. Rather than making things right, they're focused on damage control. This speaks volumes about how they operate. If the owner can't own up to mistakes and do right by customers, what does that say about the integrity of the business? Think twice before trusting them with your money.

I think a lot of people have been jumping the gun and giving these guys a rough time pre-maturely or without considering certain factors. I have a pretty hard time accepting these reviews based off my own experiences with them. First off I want to say that no company is perfect. I manage a construction company in San Diego & we make some mistakes along the way. It's the nature of the business. But it's how we respond to those mistakes in the end that makes the difference. I-Wired has never burned me on their workmanship or something that they forgot. Second I want to touch on the character of Rob and Steven. These guys have always texted me back or called me back when I have an issue. They are polite even when I have been a little OCD or dramatic at times. They have way more patience than me that's for sure. They show professionalism and kindness and I'm pretty confident that it's the same with most everyone. I've never been forgotten or disrespected. These guys do care a lot about making sure people are taken care of. Third I want to touch base on service call fees. Yes, they have fees. Most companies do. The prices on everything is going up in AZ if you haven't noticed. They do have costs running a business & their business strategy makes perfect sense to someone who runs a business. It prevents people from abusing their services making calls whenever their heart desires and it also minimizes their losses. These guys do alot of business and need to stay in the green as do most businesses. It's part of being a (successful) business. If Wendy's now charges for sauce, Southwest Airlines now charges for bags, then you can bet your ass that most companies are charging for service calls. Now if they determine that the service call is from faulty work then the company is fair from my experience. I can assure you though that nobody gets a free service call for something that they may have caused or for more equipment being purchased. Unless you know how to install your new products yourself, companies usually charge install & service fees. My pool company charges me to diagnose pool issues. Warranties expire and things cost money. Please get over it people. Thirdly they do have a clause in the contract that tells you to cancel 30 days before the contract period ends. I just reached my 3 year contract expiration date and asked Steven if I was contracted for another year. He explained that most companies renew you automatically which is true. They aren't going to hold you hostage for 1 more year though if you really want to go pay ADT a higher monthly charge for a new 3 year deal that truly traps you (lol). If anything Steven is doing you a favor before you get high pressure sold on a longer & more expensive commitment. In closing, Steven is good with customers. He has always found a solution for my needs whether it was camera trouble shooting, new equipment solutions, or a better rate for being a loyal customer. My experience is that they are going to do everything they can to keep you as a customer. I want to say with confidence that Rob will always make sure you are taken care every time you call in. Steven will do the same and keep your business. Both guys are great. Give them a chance to help you out. They'll do a good job for you.

After making two appointments to come out to our home in Scottsdale and missing both of them, the sales rep came the third time, took extensive notes and apparently quick a week later. After 4 weeks of no-follow up, I requested a second visit. The rep showed (this time, as agreed) spent an hr, took (new) notes and promised a proposal within 48 hours. 3 weeks later I had to request it. 4 days later it arrived. I wrote back immediately with 8 questions. No response. After 4 weeks of emailing and 4 phone calls, no response. I wrote feedback on the company website telling them what a waste of time this was. Got a response from a manager, asking forgiveness and another chance. I sent the correspondence. 2 weeks later after I sent a text, he acknowledged receipt of the email. Now, 4 weeks later, no response. This could be the absolute worst customer "service" from a tech company EVER. Why would anyone let them touch/install/service equipment with treatment like this. My advice: RUN AWAY from iwired as quick as you can, unless you want your time wasted. There is just no excuse for this type of treatment.

The folks at Mythic Theater are absolutely the guys/gals for the job. Joe arrived at our house with a fantastic attitude and quickly came up with a plan for our home despite our complete lack of knowledge or the ability to give him even the slightest hint of a desired scope of work. "Make it awesome", we said. "Do you have a budget?" he asked. "Uh...the least amount of money required to achieve said awesomeness?" "I got you, fam." He came back in a couple of weeks with a proposal, and he did indeed get us. Clearly not his first rodeo dealing with AV dumb-dumbs. His crew showed up at the prescribed time and date, and in relatively short order, started cutting several holes in our walls and ceilings. They were such kickass guys, we didn't even care that our house was swiss cheese, and we welcomed them back over and over again. I promise - if anyone else came over and put holes in our walls, we'd probably ask them to leave ASAP. (Spoiler alert - they put it all back together and you can't even tell it happened.) The whole Mythic team was great to work with and patient with our questions and mid-job changes. At the end of the job, it was indeed awesome. Joe selected some great elements that work well in the house, especially the sound deadening to fix the echo we used to have. We now have whole home audio, a fantastic surround sound system in the living room, a patio TV and speakers, significantly updated systems in a couple of out-buildings, and as much lighting automation as a couple of cranky Gen-Xers can tolerate. I can't recommend them enough. 11/10
