On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, I drove an hour and a half to the Tempe location. After standing around for about five minutes, I noticed the sign directing customers to the sales counter. I approached the employee working around 11:00 a.m. and explained that I had brought in my camera and lens to see whether the store would be interested in purchasing them. Without properly examining either item, he responded very unprofessionally: "Nope, too old," and, "Nope, we already have one. You should have called, and I would have told you that." I had called. I specifically spoke with Dave before making the trip and was told the store was very interested. The employee then told me to contact another camera shop or go to Samy's, and that was the end of the interaction. I was inside the store for less than five minutes. This experience wasted my time, gas, money, and resources. I drove three hours round trip based on information provided directly by an employee at this store. I will never recommend this business, and I will not return. The sad part is that I was genuinely excited to visit and had planned to purchase another used camera while I was there. Instead, the store lost both a potential seller and a paying customer because of its poor communication and dismissive customer service.
