I even said, "This doesn't look big enough," but he assured me it was the correct one. I took it home and unfortunately it wasn't the right size, so I had to run back to the store. The woman who greeted me the first time was incredibly kind and helpful -- she had even helped me load bags of soil into my car earlier. She handled the return for me with no problem at all. Then I went back upstairs where the actual plumbing specialist helped me pick out the correct part. The customer service here is excellent. It's so close to my house that I prefer going there instead of a big store like Home Depot. I may pay a little more sometimes, but the convenience, helpful staff, and friendly service make it worth it. Usually, they're right and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this store for both customer service and convenience.

You'll not find anything like it around, not around here, but anymore. The equivalent to the hardware stores and feed stores of yesteryear in the Midwest. Service here is unmatched and if you ever hated Lowes or Walmart perhaps you can find it here. Not to be confused with the old True Value's this is so much more. Small parking lot, logical set up, prices are reasonable, but you must absolutely come here for the service. The staff here are true DIY, friendly neighbors. Willing to show, teach and explain many of the items they carry, but absolutely walk you from start to finish with nothing less than a smile on their face. I generally come here for Traeger Smoker Pellets which most even BBQ places don't carry. I generally stockpile for a few seasons, but come here from time to time for smaller more rustic home work.

The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Sometimes it takes a bit to track someone down. They have everything you want and more. If they don't have it in stock, it can be shipped to your house or the store for no fee within a reasonable amount of time. Usually, everything is in stock when I need it. I've also used to shop online and free curbside pickup. It's hit or miss; either they bring it out quickly or they don't, and you have to call the store. Being a HD cc holder has its perks too. I am always getting discount coupons mailed to me or 0% financing offers. They come in handy when it's a large project.
