DIG in is definitely a place worth trying, I'm so happy that they brought a location to New Jersey, and that it's less than 20 minutes away from me! This visit, I parked in the back and entered through the rear entrance, which is always convenient, especially when it's raining. It's a clean and bright space. I was immediately greeted when I walked up to the counter to order. I ordered a custom DIG protein bowl, which comes with one protein, three sides, and a sauce. I went with the charred chicken, homestyle mashed potatoes, sheet tray carrots, and the Jasper Hill mac and cheese, with garlic aioli sauce. The portion size was hefty, and everything was absolutely delicious! The mac and cheese was hands down the best non homemade version I've had from a restaurant, it was rich, creamy, and FULL of flavor. The mashed potatoes were also incredible, smooth and perfectly seasoned. If I wasn't trying to cut down on starch, id be there everyday ordering this same bowl. Even though I know everything on their menu is great, this bowl will definitely be my go to cheat meal. I've also tried their chili lime Brussels sprouts, charred broccoli with lemon, roasted potatoes, and char-grilled steak, and they've all been solid choices. The ingredients always taste fresh, and the flavors are well thought out. I'd love the recipe for the Mac and cheese and sheet tray carrots!!!

I came back to DIG after visiting for an Elite event. The food tasted even better the second time! And the staff was just as friendly. I ordered the custom dig bowl with double protein- steak and salmon. They cook the steak medium, so definitely ask if you want it cooked differently. I ate every last bite of my medium well steak; and dipped it in a side of special sauce. They gave me a large piece of salmon, and I asked them to add pesto at the end. The skin wasn't crispy, and was able to be eaten with the salmon. For my three sides, I chose the kale Cesar salad (contains nuts), sweet potatoes, and Mac and cheese. As you can see, I received decent sized portions of each. I wish I could say I left with leftovers, but I did not. The food was so good post workout, I devoured every single bite. I think Dig is the perfect place for anyone looking for healthy, fresh made food. I will definitely return in the near future.

Tried to place out after stumbling upon it after work. Was very impressed with their selection of protein. Really great for a well balanced meal. They grilled the steak and salmon there as I ordered. Service was amazing as it was my first time being there. The employee walked me through all the options they had available. A little on the pricey side but overall great lunch spot to go to. Very clean and open inside. They served me the meal in a ceramic bowl which was a great touch. Very filling and very healthy and fresh place.wish they had more locations!!!!

Make your own plate or pick a sandwich, salad from their menu. They offer a variety of sides and protein options. The salmon is wild caught which is not found in many restaurants. Spacious diner but seating is limited. Service is great and the staff are very friendly. Parking in the mall can get busy. Overall a nice place for a quick and tasty meal.

Still in love with this place. The staff, the place, the food, all of it! Consistently delicious and always healthy.

This was delicious. My sis and I were on our way to CAVA and decided to stop in, needless to say I never went to CAVA. This was my first visit and it definitely will not be my last. I ordered the Classic Dig with Tofu and it was good. The tofu was crispy, the broccoli was grilled to perfection, the rice and roasted potato was flavorful. The customer service was great and the gentleman that was the manager/chef was pure comic relief. It was a great first impression all around.

Exceeded my expectations! I have heard about Dig before and recognize the name. This is the first location in New Jersey but they have 3-4 locations in the city. This was my first time trying this fast casual dine in and boy was is delicious. My only wish was that they expanded into northern New Jersey as well! I had the hot honey plate and the classic plate. Both were so good and so flavorful! The classic is something can get again and again but the hot honey gives you more surprises flavor wise. I'd definitely come here over other fast casual establishments. It's certainly now my go to for chicken! It's also very well priced for what you get. The sides are all so delicious - The baked carrots, the sweet potato, that Mac and cheese was divine! I want more already. It certainly leaves you full!

I've been here several times in the past both for yelp events and also takeout. I love the variety of options and am a particularly big fan of the mac and cheese, tofu, and carrots! Everything is also reasonably priced and comparable to other bowl places like chipotle and cava. There is plenty of seating inside and the place is pretty spacious. My only qualm is that the online orders are always very behind despite minimal in-person orders/customers. I consistently have to wait past 30 minutes past the estimated order time, so it makes me question the utility of ordering ahead when ordering in person is definitely faster. Regardless, the food is great!

I attended a Yelp Elite event at Dig. I had never heard of it before and had no idea what to expect. I was not disappointed. Their staff all have chef backgrounds and it is very evident in the quality and flavor of their offerings. I felt like I got a full plate from a sit down restaurant from an establishment that applies the choose and move service modality (kind of like a chipotle line). I had mashed potatoes as my base, chicken thighs, carrots, and Brussel sprouts. I also opted to try a piece of tofu. I don't like carrots or Brussel sprouts and they were absolutely delicious. The chicken and potatoes were so fresh and tasty. In addition, they have the most delicious light and fluffy focaccia bread. You also get to choose from a variety of sauces for whatever bowl you concoct while purveying their options. The food was amazing and I look forward to my next visit to Dig.

So upon doing my research I came across this restaurant. Now of course upon reading reviews everyone said to get there early because the line can get long especially on a Saturday and Sunday morning. So we arrived around 8:30 on Saturday and we were seated right away because it was only two of us . The service was excellent we were seated right away . Our waiter came out and gave us the rundown of the menu . They had a promo menu because of the Devil Wears Prada movie . I did get a specialty non alcoholic drink from the menu which was excellent. We ordered the French toast and the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and it came with smoked salmon on sourdough bread . The French toast was so good and moist you didn't even need to add additional syrup . The food was delicious and the portion sizes are perfect . The restaurant is cozy so if you have a big party make reservations. But you won't be disappointed I can't wait to visit Brunch by De Martino again whenever I come back to New Jersey . Please check them out you won't regret it .

So coming here carries a bit of nostalgia for us. This concept feels very different from the original. It's definitely a more modern, upscale take. Portions are smaller, prices are higher, and the menu feels more elevated with a mix of Cuban-inspired and American flavors rather than strictly traditional Cuban comfort food. That said, the food is genuinely very good. The Cuban sandwich was easily one of the best we've had in New Jersey. Unlike many places that mostly use ham with a thin layer of pork, this one had thick, flavorful pieces of pork that made it feel much more authentic. A few other favorites: - The tostones with guacamole were a great starter. - Their chocolate latte used to be one of our favorites (sadly it seems to have been replaced by a raspberry chocolate version, which wasn't for us). - The seasonal pumpkin iced latte was excellent. - The strawberry banana waffles were more than enough to share. - The scrambled eggs and thick-cut bacon were fresh and delicious. We spent about $140 for breakfast for a family of four, so it's definitely on the pricier side, but it felt fitting for a special occasion like Mother's Day. A heads-up: reservations are only accepted for parties of six or more, so smaller groups are first come, first served. On Mother's Day, we waited about an hour after arriving at 8:30 AM, but their digital waitlist system made it easy to track our place in line while running errands nearby. Do we miss the old Martino's? Absolutely. The larger portions and casual family feel were special to us. But this restaurant offers something different--more polished, more curated, and still very enjoyable. I'd recommend it for brunch dates, family celebrations, or when you want to treat yourself.

Once you enter through the store, there is a sign to wait to be seated. The place has a nice and bright rustic vibe to it. I really liked the decor and table setup. Even the napkins had a rustic vibe. Started off with the potato scoop ($16) which was my fave item. The potato was shaped like the Fritos scoop chip, and the cheese dip that came with it had chunks of cheese in a melted cheese sauce. For my main, got the pulled pork sandwich ($16), which came in a pretzel knot bun and creamy slaw. It was solid meal and very filling. Other mains ordered were the roast beef "pho" style sandwich ($16) which I had a bite of and it was good and not what I expected thinking roast beef. Roast turkey ($16) was warm and also tasty. Each of the mains came with a side of potato salad. I will be back to try the sloppy Joe and their dinner meals. I highly recommend this place if you want tasty, high quality meal for a fair price. * Highly recommend making reservations on weekends * Street parking * Good service

The vibes of the old house were great though! Once sat, our waitress was alright. She was kind of quiet (especially once the louder groups were in) and not overly friendly, but food and drink delivery was prompt so that was nice. I got a cider and my coworker had a couple of beers. We split the caramel shrimp (very tasty) and I also had the cheddar IPA soup. The soup was good but could have used maybe just a bit more salt for my taste. He wound up getting the pub burger and said it was delicious. I had the BLT and added fried chicken. The chicken wasn't the fried chicken I imagined (not as breaded/crispy) but the sandwich was really good! Overall, it was a neat spot that I'd go back to if I was in town.

Blame your president as he insists upon annihilating everyone and sending our collective pressure through the roof. We arrived about 20 minutes before the end of Happy Hour and snagged a couple of beers as well as wings and a shrimp quesadilla. The food was great but the service was the real stunner. I found myself stuck between two beers and the bartender suggested Arnold Palmering it and going halfsies on both. Fantastic decision - the mixed drink was refreshing and tart without being too pedestrian or too far afield. Food came out quickly and deliciously. Saved $15 on food prices alone during Happy Hour. Fat things: The bar stools are excellent - steel with a wide seat and a foot bar so your legs don't fall asleep. And they don't pack too many of them in so it's easy to get into and out of your seat without bumping someone else. Other stuff: They have regular indoor seating and an outdoor seating area on the side with couches, high table, and heat lamps. Overall, the space is open, airy, bright, and clean. It's pretty packed when the temps warm up but shoulder season is very nice for us right now. Be advised: Regular menu prices still seem steep - like everything else these days. But the food is good and they have a very nice craft beer selection. If you can't make happy hour and are looking to treat yourself this might be it. We'll def return!

The chocolate crunch bar is the best dessert I have had in a long time, the only thing missing from it is whipped cream. The vibe is very chill, will definitely be adding this in my rotations.

So, we went to Uproot on Saturday night 5/2/26 for the first time. From the door, everything was on…read morepoint. It just felt like a Saturday night. It is a very nice restaurant; Large, but not overbearing. I could see going here either on date night, or with 2 more couples. Our server Patrick was fantastic from the beginning of the night, straight through to the end. He was friendly, and very efficient. Chef/owner Scott came out from the kitchen to greet us and other patrons, and was gracious to everyone. Onto the food. The Duck Tacos and Mussels were very tasty. I think I might put a call into Chef and have him make me a bottle of that Mussels sauce to take home with me. Then came the crisp Caesar Salad, which kept everything bright. To finish, we had the Black Cod and Duck Confit, both of which were very well balanced and cooked perfectly. Oh, and the Guava-glazed Brussels Sprouts were a perfect side. Next time, I want to try one or two of their desserts. All-in-all, we had a great experience, and the night was a success. Chef, see you soon. I might just bring a large mason jar for some sauce!..

5-Stars it is!! *…read moreCASH ONLY- they have ATM on premise but cash is king! * Make reservations- we had reservations for 7p- but moved it to 5p and glad we did- this little spot fills up fast *BYOB Hubby and I came here to see what all the rave reviews were about and were immediately greeted warmly and with a smile, seated and given menus with an explanation of the specials. We started off with appetizers- which are really great for sharing- perogies for the Hubby and I had the liver dumpling soup- both were fantastic. Hubby had the German mixed salad with his meal, the special was sausage with both chicken and pork Schnitzel and potatoes, I had the sauerbraten with potatoes and we both had a side of the sauerkraut. We took a To-Go of the stuffed chicken breast with mozzarella and spinach and soup, with broccoli and an order of perogies. 2 Root beers, and he had the apple strudel and I ordered the Bienenstich. Our server was Karen- I want to give a huge thank you to her, she was an absolute delight, sweet, friendly and made sure our dinner was perfect, she is wonderful and next time we come for dinner, we hope she is our waitress. Food was incredible, I have not had "family" style German food in probably 13 years if not longer- I used to eat all the time at Alpine Village in Torrance Ca and at Phoenix Club in Brea Ca- both I was a long time foodie at, and never had a bad meal! It is so great to know that Sebastian's is our new place for delicious German food. Dinner for the 3 was roughly $180.00, but before you say "that's a lot", the food is delicious, the wait staff is amazing and both my husband and I gladly pay good money for fantastic food, like what we had here at Sebastian's.

CASH ONLY CASH ONLY…read moreCASH ONLY CASH ONLY Did I mention CASH ONLY So we are thinking about getting Christmas Eve dinner catered from here, so we tried it out yesterday. There was a decent amount of confusion and dialect disconnect, but I believe they have most of their regular menu available. We also ordered a bunch of different items to taste test and we were extremely happy! Let me get into my issue... At no point until I walked into the restaurant, did they mention cash only, oh and check! They take checks! But they never list if on ther website, or any social media sites. They do not mention it over the phone either... so I walk in expecting to pay with card and wham. CASH ONLY... They do have an ATM on site, but to use it, you need an ATM card or a pin on your CC, which I did not have. My FiL had to meet me half way back with cash so I could pay. I really wish they post it online or somewhere people can see before walking in.... I had half a mind to cancel lol! Well that's my gripe! Ordering food, there was a slight language barrier as well. But all in all, it went OK. The lot needs better lighting and or a sign that points to the main entrance. We walked the wrong way and ended up at tables and chairs in storage.... It is very very very homey inside. Very homey. It feels like Oma's living room. With Hummel and biersteins everywhere, and it mean everywhere! Do not bring young kids here lol! It does look nice though! Must but nightmare to dust... Service is unique, the owner was trying to make small talk, and this is after my cash issue, I was kind of zoned out... also had 2 kids that were surprisingly behaving! I got super lucky with that lol! I was able to pay cash and he threw in a few items for free, he gave me a potato soup and a Rahm sauce. Brought the food home and feasted! I got the triple schnitzel combo with Veal, pork, chicken. All were delicious, I like the brown gravy (which had a nice tang) as well as the Rahm sauce with it. By itself it was good, I think they do it more Italian style with only breadcrumbs and no flour, but it was still good. The Veal was the best, but small! The other 2 were very good! I subbed mash for home fries which had sautéed onions and were a great touch, but it needed salt. The sauce helped! I also got a side or spaetzle, which were good but needed sauce and or salt, and did not have much seasoning. But that is German food... I'm not saying its bland, but its sauce heavy! Perogies were absolutely killer! I want a tray lol! Great filling, super soft, great taste! Wife and FiL had the chicken cordon blue, and they were huge!!! They were delicious, but even better with the Rahm sauce. I need a gallon of it lol! Wife liked the Red cabbage, I enjoyed it as well, great flavor. I personally like it sweeter. FiL had the mash and like it. I also got Linzer Tarts which disappeared very quickly lol! Everyone enjoyed them! All in all a great meal, I wish they'd let you know cash only... we look forward to getting catering on Christmas Eve!
