The dressing rooms are so filthy, the dust on the floor is so thick dust there are actually dust bunnies rolling around. Looking up on the the top of the dressing room you can see the pile of dust. I coughed the entire time I was in store, after leaving the dressing room. Not to mention the trouble services I received when I went to the counter to return them, since the store did not have my size. I was told I would have to wait in two lines, even thou the young lady at the counter to order me new ones was not waiting on anyone. She had me wait in line to return them with a cashier, only to call out to the cashier I can return those and order the new ones. After she had me wait for 20 minutes to get to the cashier. As I was walking out I saw a gentlemen and asked him if he was the manager and he said yes. Bought a punching bag and got home to find the spare air bladder was missing from the box. Store phone number is fake. The employee distracted me from reading the box that said extra bladder included ( should a checked ) . Bats were flying around inside the store . Better off with Amazon . read more

i walked into this establishment exhilarated to get my wrist tape. I walk in to the empty, sad, and depressed shelves. That was followed by a man in a pink shirt who questioned me and my friends as we were trying to peacefully shop. He followed us along the store questioning us making me feel as though I was in nazi germany. This experience has scarred me from shopping at this store and I hope it rots to the ground. read more

I called ahead and the representative confirmed they had a youth Detroit Red Wings jersey in the size I needed and had it waiting for me at the front. The clerk at the cash register was quite friendly and chatted with me about the area and how it's changed so much in just 5 years. Great customer service! The bad part about this store is that it's so tucked away in this shopping center that it's a little hard to find. The store is a tiny little store and doesn't have everything you need. I needed a quick pinnie for my sons soccer game so I decided to run in. I must be out of my mind because I remember the last time I was in there must have been 10 people waiting on a single cashier. Whooppps. Same thing. There was only one register open and 10 VERY frustrated people in line. Finally a guy yelled from another register that he could help the next person in line. The next in line ran over and I waited for the rest of the line to start dividing up but no one moved. After a minute I decided to head over to the other line. The cashier told me to head to a different register. I walked to the next one confused. I assumed he was opening a different register but it turns out he was sending me back to the original girl. He then yelled for the next in line again. So I shuffled back to the original line (now behind 3 additional people) to wait again. There was so much confusion with customers jumping back and forth and being redirected that the line just got longer. By the time it was "my turn" to be called back to the other register I was pretty hot. I told him that it would be more efficient to simply open a second register instead of shuffling everyone back and forth. He just huffed that he's just a back up. This location works on a bare bones staff and is constantly a pain to get out of. read more

The only thing wrong with this place is that it is located in a really tired part of town. A huge place, with a selection that I have not seen anyone come close to for sporting goods. We went here this weekend, looking for a particular form of weight bench for our house. My husband had some questions, but finding someone to help was almost impossible. Several employees walked right by us and did not acknowledge us. We finally had to go into the front and ask someone, and the person obviously did not want to help us and wanted to stay in the front of the store at his post. Recently bought a shotgun here and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable in the firearm dept. I believe it was Jacob and Justin who helped me. I was looking for a specific shotgun and got lucky that one just came in. They made the purchasing process go as smooth as possible and helped me with ammo and sight options. In the ghetto. I swear, the clientelle that frequent this stretch of Eureka (the mall, the Meijer, the restaurants, Dick's, etc) need to be rounded up and shipped elsewhere. It's frustrating to walk into stores like Dick's of Taylor, a chain that I've frequented in other cities and have spent a lot of money, and want to immediately turn around. Customers are rude. Product is not where it's supposed to be, mixed up, knocked over, and it seems like the employess either can't keep up or don't care. Add that to the generally higher prices (especially lately) and I'll be back only when absolutely necessary. read more
