At Bridal Expos and online, you usually get bombarded with the chain Menswear places to do your business with for your wedding day (like I did). The styles at these places were bland and I wanted something different. I stumbled upon Sam Michael's and from my first visit (of probably 5 or 6 in total), I was hooked! Walking in here for the first time, I didn't know what to expected. I explained that I was getting married, and 8 groomsmen and 2 parents that needed suits. I was sat down and shown all of my different rental options, which included suits, tuxes, pants, ties, shoes and other accessories. So many decisions, but I was granted the ability to stay there and think carefully, but also explained to that I can change it as many times as I want up to a month or so before the wedding date. Attached are some pictures of the suit I picked for myself and my groomsmen. It was a brand new suit in their inventory that they personally owned, as well as the color choice for my accents (pocket square and tie). Michael and team were very professional through the entire process. We had multiple texts and phone calls back and forth during my moving of our wedding date as well as when my accent color was discontinued. After the wedding was all said and done, I was granted a $500 shopping spree on a suit set of my choice. That was really exciting and I got a nice blue, checkered patterned suit. Initially the suit was advertised to me as "slightly more expensive" but better quality and service than competitors. After we allocated our wedding finances after we got married, at Sam Michael's, I actually spent LESS than what I budgeted and LESS than a competitor I was initially going to go with. Totally worth it here! Thank you Mike and team for everything! I felt like family every time I walked in. No errors or resizing for any of us during our pick ups.

Although busy, and facing a deadline, she had me perfectly fitted in less than 10 minutes, and promised to have the suit and shirt pressed and ready for me the Friday before Memorial Day. She even threw in the pink pocket square after asking my little sister's favorite color. She assured me that everything would be steamed and pressed, and there was no need to try anything on after taking 1/2" from the sleeves. Sure enough, I received a text at 10am Friday morning to remind me that my purchase was prepared. Everything fit wonderful, and I received so many compliments that it made a tough situation much better. So glad to find a great place like this minutes from my home.

This was the worst shopping experience I have ever faced in the large number of stores I have visited in and out of state. After leaving this complaint of my experience I was contacted asking for my contact information so that the proper person could respond to me. This has been over two weeks and nothing has happened. They also sell a lot of affordable accessories like keychains, tie clips, shaving needs, and cuff links, so it's a great place to go buy a gift for the guys in your life. My dad LOVES Tommy Bahama and Chelsea has a huge selection, so I always check here first. I think I've gotten a gift here for every guy I've ever dated, now that I think about it. I arrived at the store well before 9pm to pick up my layaway. However, due to their long lines and only she and another young lady working, the line moved very slow. At 9:08pm, she announced that layaway and the dressing room was closed. However, due to me standing in line for over 20 minutes I didn't believe I'd have a problem picking up my layway. When I approached her I had two items to purchase and informed her that I was also picking up a layway, to which she replied, "layaway is closed". I told her I understood, but I was in line well before the cut off and would appreciate it if she would get it. After mumbling under her breath, she said, "well you gone be waiting I got a long line of customers and I'm not walking all the way back there to get it right now". I was appalled, but stood back while she called someone over and asked if I could speak to a manager instead. She told me you can call corporate or come back tomorrow at 9am and walked towards the security guard. Rather than identify her name and position, she walked over to the security guard to escort me out. I walked to the security guard and also asked for the manager which he identified her as Sherikka. Shame on you Burlington for employing someone who has no regards for customer service.
