I've been at this location several times and service always impresses me. Famous footwear has a great app, with cool kickbacks and good coupons. I had a 15% off and 10 bucks in kickback cash so I totaly scored which makes me happy and to boot scored points for my next kickback 5 bucks for every 100 spent and with two growing boys a girl has got to appreciate that! Upon returning the shirts to the store on Michigan Ave. only the last three were able to be returned because of barcode issues. The 2 identical shirts barcodes could not be scanned. I decided to try the Koles store #0217 on Ford Rd. Two ladies, Marlita and Shannon were determined to solve my problem. They gave me a number to call to give my Order No. and get a number to scan for return. Things worked out fine with one shirt, however, the second shirt that was identical didn't scan because one was regular fit and the other was slim fit. Shopping during the holidays SUCKS. There is no denying that. We stopped in around noon on a Saturday. Not many people in the store. She found a pair of skinny jeans and made her way to the fitting rooms. AE has those annoying fitting rooms where the door locks and you need an employee to help open it. In theory this would be great .... if someone was actually working that department. So we waited .... and waited .... and waited. Five minutes past and still no one came to help us. At this point I contemplated crawling under the door to unlock it. JOY! I see an employee walking towards the fitting room. She walks into the fitting room section .... And just ignores the two of us waiting to try on clothes. Does she not see us there? How could you not see us? I thought it was a joke. She doesn't even look our way and instead walks out to help someone else with a fitting room. At this point I am highly annoyed. Needless to say we walked out without making a purchase. We'll go to another AE where the employees care about the business.
