I made my first order with Janet's today. Let me say how impressed I am with the outstanding customer service. They did not have an item that I wanted in stock so they made some really good recommendations so I could still get an item almost identical as quick as possible. They now have a new returning customer. I can't thank them enough for having great customer service! Russ read more

Absolutely wonderful place! I am finally starting my journey into crossdressing and the staff there was fantastic. They had an answer to all my questions, which were many, and were beyond understanding and helpful. I could have spent all day and all of my money there. The dungeon is very well equipped for all your sexual needs as well. Reasonable prices, too. I will be a repeat customer for sure. read more

The business and the staff is great. I am very pleased with them and I don't have any problems with them. I love the dresses there.

I went to Janet's for a full transformation, I almost did not go but I am glad I did. The associate who did my makeup and helped me choose some outfits made me feel at home and comfortable. She did a wonderful job and made me feel not only comfortable but pretty. The staff is wonderful, and I would not only purchase more from them but go back again for a makeup session. I had a wonderful day and they made my week especially the makeup artist who assisted me for my first time. read more

I am bold enough to write a review (I know there are probably some Yelpers who have been here before) Lol. I saw the ad for Janet's Closet one day in the newspaper that said they sell shoes up to a size 16. I was super excited because I am one of many woman who wear shoes larger than a size 8. So I took the long drive to Wyandotte & found the small place. They have a variety of really cute shoes including thigh high boots, mary janes to 6 in. platforms (aka stripper shoes). They have wigs, lingerie & club wear. It is really a store that caters to cross-dressers (if you don't know what that means check the dictionary), but they have women shoppers & clothing for women (YES I WAS BORN A WOMAN!!) I love the shoes I bought & they were reasonably priced. When you find a store that sells shoes that are stylish & fit, it is a great feeling. Note: (For those who are intimidating by going into a store that caters to an alternative lifestyle) They have a website also where you can order products and speak to someone if you have questions. read more

I discovered this treasure trove a few years ago and since then have taken my mom, sister, friends, and even boyfriend and we all love it. Very affordable and good quality merchandise. Staff is super nice and helpful, and they have the friendliest cats roaming around the store. I've bought wigs, makeup, shoes and have never been disappointed. read more

I had an amazing experience in this store and a huge part of that was the amazing girl who was helping me. I believe her name was Marcela. She went absolutely above and beyond to help me find the right look and made me feel extremely welcomed and comfortable through the whole process. I came to this store before and did not plan on coming back after the experience I had with a rude sales girl, but I figured I would give it another shot and I'm so happy that I did! I am a loyal customer now, even if it's just to come in and say hi to Marcela again, she was so personable, it was like talking to a someone I have been friends with for years!! read more

Went here a few years ago to get some 8W black Pleaser's heels. Staff was friendly and nonjudgmental. They had some cats in the shop too, they were super cute and friendly. Not sure if they still have the cats there today. Overall I can see myself coming back for more fashion corsets / wigs / heels / and such. They're cross dresser friendly too read more

Good sales... Friendly staff ! Janet even makes her own clothing. They are also very discreet and respectful.

Totally awesome store. I was there May 12, 2015 and had the time of my life. If I had more money, I would have bought more stuff. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and so was the store's kitty cat. I can't wait to go back next week. If I lived closer, I would be a dream to work there.
