Now, they are owned by Body Solid so most of the stuff is branded as such. However, if you're not a very particular person (and seeking a specific brand) you should be able to find most of what you need here. For most stuff, brand doesn't matter. For other stuff it does... so check out here first and then acquire any additional items online. What I really like about this place, aside from the affordable prices, is the staff. They have always been very friendly, helpful, and honest. I asked about a few specific items and they guy lamented that they didn't carry it and I'd be better off shopping online. He didn't try to cross-sell me something I didn't want, or pressure me into ordering through them... I like that. It's a way of doing business that is going to keep me coming back to them in the future. Also, they are more than willing to help you carry stuff to the register or out to your car; such service! I'm a big fan of Fitness Factory and will be returning to them again in the future as my garage box takes shape (pardon the pun).

They smiled and immediately greeted me as a number of shoppers came in. The second time I showed up was a bit of a different atmosphere. Two guys (re: kids) running the place and kept to themselves. I started to chat with them and they finally opened up but it felt like pulling teeth to ask them about sale items or what the hot item was. Your mileage may vary as far as experience goes. I went back the second time cause I had a blast the first time. Now I will just timidly go back but if I see the guys working, I might just leave and go elsewhere. They do sales at the end of each sports season. That's my tip to you. Go cheer on your favorite team. Go Hawks/Go Cubbies!

The prices are a bit steep; one of my t-shirts was $35, which usually I would never consider spending that when it probably costs $5 to make. But whatev- sometimes you gotta splurge. The employees are friendly and helpful, but they do tend to follow you around the store, so if you're thinking of stuffing that $35 t-shirt in your waistband, good luck. While I appreciate their efforts to deter shoplifters, it makes for an awkward shopping experience for the honest folk.

Not only did he get to know me as a customer but truly helped me decide what the right decision was for me and my safety in terms of recovery. There were a lot of shoes to choose from and he was there every step of the way ensuring that the choices were not overwhelming. Running shoes and equipment is definitely pricey these days but with the VIP membership you're able to get cash back which I haven't seen at other stores. Gabriel was the staff that assisted me on this visit. He measured my feet and recommended based upon my walking style. My boyfriend stated that he has helped him as well on previous visits. Definitely recommend for the shoes. They sell some clothes, socks, and accessories as well. I would recommend!
