The men's section is much larger--or at least appears larger--than many other Sierra stores that I have frequented, with a bountiful clearance section, to boot! I got excited when I came upon the Men's shoes section with a sign for Size 14 alas there was not much there both in actual stock and in the prices of what was on offer. The store was clean and organized well, and while we didn't see a single staffer the entire time we browsed the wares, our cashier (who was vaguely reminiscent of a young Barack Obama) was very friendly and engaging.

They smiled and immediately greeted me as a number of shoppers came in. The second time I showed up was a bit of a different atmosphere. Two guys (re: kids) running the place and kept to themselves. I started to chat with them and they finally opened up but it felt like pulling teeth to ask them about sale items or what the hot item was. Your mileage may vary as far as experience goes. I went back the second time cause I had a blast the first time. Now I will just timidly go back but if I see the guys working, I might just leave and go elsewhere. The prices are a bit steep; one of my t-shirts was $35, which usually I would never consider spending that when it probably costs $5 to make. But whatev- sometimes you gotta splurge. You can definitely find some great stuff here, though. The employees are friendly and helpful, but they do tend to follow you around the store, so if you're thinking of stuffing that $35 t-shirt in your waistband, good luck. While I appreciate their efforts to deter shoplifters, it makes for an awkward shopping experience for the honest folk.
