I went in wallet to get ID then realized I'd been out the night before and asked my husband to hold my Id so i wouldn't have to carry a purse. I explained to her what happened the previous day then she told me that with my driver's license all she could do is give me a "current price store credit" which was a few dollars when I know my husband paid so much more only a week prior. Now, while this might be the policy...the girl on trip #1 told me something completely different so as far as I'm concerned, that's what should have been honored ! Instead this girl refused to even exchange a gift for the same thing which to me is ridiculous. It's an even exchange for same Priced item and any other store would oblige. I told her that the day prior I was told all I needed was my ID for it to be done. She basically told me no and to do even exchange I'd still need receipts or card that was used. I was there today, 3/22/2025, around noon and purchased a new pair of hiking shoes. I'm a senior, black male and was dressed casually for a chilly Saturday. At the entrance, some merchandise caught my eye and I browsed the men's clothing for about 10 minutes before I proceeded to the shoe dept. I found the area that displayed my shoe brand and waited patiently for the very busy salesman, who had already acknowledged my presence. He answered my questions and obtained a pair that I wanted to try on. As I tried the shoes on, I noticed a man walking around and lingering, "pretending" to be a customer. When I got up to walk in the shoes, I noticed a woman doing the same thing. I sensed that they were security and as a black male, I'm keenly aware of situations like this. I always feel insulted because, although I am not perfect, for most of my adult life, I have played by the rules. Couple that with the fact that the vast majority of licensed career people like myself, know that misdemeanors & felonies negatively impact one's license renewal. To whomever sent those two security folks to the shoe area: it was so obvious and for what? I won't reveal my net worth but you would likely be surprised because I look fairly plain. BTW, my credit score is just 13 points shy of being perfect! Now, I know that socioeconomic status might not correlate with shoplifting because RICH PEOPLE STEAL TOO. The only department that I have been consistently offered help in is the shoe department. Otherwise, it seems you are on your own. The selection is good. The quality of the items is very good, but their prices are high. I usually only go here if I can't find the equipment we need someplace else for less. They do have volleyball shoes for my daughter, but if you want colors that match the uniform, you'll have to order from a specialty retailer. I find their clothing to be especially expensive. Luckily, I can get certain items like polyester athletic shirts that wick away sweat equally well for a fraction of the price at Sam's Club and Wal-Mart. I think Dick's should offer a better bike selection and some higher end brands. Since there are no bike shops around Parma anymore, Dicks's and Wal-Mart are the only shops that sell bikes. Wal-Mart sells low end bikes, which leaves you with Dick's as the only option for a moderately priced bike in the neighborhood. However, if I'm buying a bike, I'm probably going to make the trip to a nearby bike shop anyway, to ensure I get a quality bike. The Diamondback brand they carry isn't exactly the best quality bicycle on the market. The store is usually spotless so cleanliness isn't an issue. They do mark down team apparel items at times. I am in their rewards program, but I never seem to receive coupons when I need them. Therefore, I have almost never been able to use a coupon to buy something. This is mainly due to the coupons expiring. Why can't they just keep a running rewards balance and apply it to my next purchase like Sears and Kmart? If you've got the money, Dick's probably has what you want.

So after work and after my sons football practice I drove up checked in mind you it was not in my name but my husbands they walked out and said what's the last name?
