Went in this past weekend to pick up an online order. Of course the sign says to log into the website and go through the process and then an employee will bring your items to you. Don't understand why we have to go through the whole process. When I hit the "done" button and employee who was standing 10 ft from me came up and gave me my items. Couldn't I have just walked up with my ID and order number? Would have saved a lot of time. Very expensive store. They do have a great selection but everything seems way overpriced compared to other sports stores in the area. Staff is very nice and helpful when they see you. read more

I ordered a new set of golf irons on June 14th 2023 ( paid in full ). Dick's cancelled the order on June 16th for non payment? No phone calls or emails from staff or management. Called to check the status of my order on July 12th and the employee told me the order was delayed due to backordered components. After 8 weeks I dug into the situation with the manufacturer and found out my clubs were reordered on June 28th. The store manager had instructed employees to lie to me, He had also actually committed credit card fraud. The manager had actually taken my money, bought gift cards in store to resubmit a new order ( all without my being notified ). I can't even say if he pocketed money by discounting the order because they didn't allow me to see the new receipt or order form. Corporate wasn't fully helpful with the situation either. Your standard sporting goods store. They carry clothes and equipment for just about every sport and camping as well. I went in today to buy my son some soccer cleats and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were not overbearing as well. The store was also very clean and all staff were wearing masks. read more

I'm pretty sure the majority of the staff shouldn't be in customer service. Helping people seems to be the last thing they want to do. Since this location is in Mentor, i would normally just chalk it up to racism, but that wasn't the case. The sales floor staff was equally rude to everyone that asked for help. read more

Well stocked store. Merchandise is everything I would expect. Service is inconsistent but can be very good in the right circumstances.

Visited Dick at the great lakes mall. The customer service was not just poor, the people where rude. I returned my item after the package was damaged at check out. Done with Dicks! read more

Great location and really great staff. It's easily the nicest around! The checkout process could be a little better though.

This was store was great! Customer service was splendid and i got great deals! My one complaint is that a red Kia parked a little to close for comfort to my 2015 Subaru Legacy. I hope that won't be an issue again. read more

My boyfriend and I went in today to exchange some snow boots for a bigger size. The two men we asked to help at first didn't seem interested in helping. We ended up walking around after they brushed us off and found the Columbia boot isle. Paige walked up and heard us talking and helped us from start to finish! She was wonderful and patient. So I had a terrible day at Dicks Sporting Goods. I went with my younger brother to buy a small pocket knife for opening packages and stuff. Went to hunting lodge to purchase firearm have been looking for. Only one left was floor model. Scratches on barrel, bluing coming off. Associate said "hold on I will see if they will take 10% off". Called his manager and answer was no!!!! Why in the world would anyone buy a damaged product at the regular price. Old manager gone. Way to not get my business new management.
