I haven't done a review for Dick's Burgers and I have been going to their joints since I was a kid, so have my friends and their families and their friends and families...(well you get the picture). But why? Because frankly, they don't need it. If you're from the NW you know the lingo...but let me save you out of towner's and new comers some time and some embarrassment possibly...They DO NOT take custom orders, none. You don't like the sauce? Sucks for you...Say what? You want yours without pickles? Nope denied. Did you say no ketchup? Get that weak stuff out of here! And stop holding up the line. Next please!...Go to Wendy's down the street. They never have and they never will, not for you not for the president and they're cool with that. That's why it's a staple, a blueprint that has worked for over 60 years...The service flow, the quickness, the consistency, the freshness, it has never failed. A model that has withstood the changes of time, the hardships during economic downturns...its, what some might consider in the industry, bulletproof. Delicious, fresh and original and that's why we love it. For all of you "Cali" folks or others (cough cough GRANT) that try to compare Dick's to In and Out or any other burger joint stop it already, they are completely different models for Dick's sake.Ok, you don't like it?That's cool but do you really have to go and give it a one star?Just because it didn't compare to a customized option joint? Apples to oranges no? SMH So not your cup of tea? Like Grant a few reviews down?(who feels like he has to write a novel about every place he reviews)We get it man, you don't like it but it sounds like you've been there multiple times, how many before you finally decided you didn't like it? Lol Anyways, there's plenty of burger joints that would love to customize your exact burger, go there and save us regulars some time and spare us having to deal with your 5 minute order time frame. They are fast friendly and the food is decent for fast food that has been around longer then I can remember. I was forced to go in the parking if the Edmonds Dicks last night.....this is where I don't understand the customers nar the staff here. I was driving home about 11:30-12 when I saw the guy creeping up on a lady in 99 right before Dicks.....well I drive around the block as fast as I can thinking she was in danger.....when I can up beside her she was white as a ghost and there was nothing I could do to help her.....well we drive through the parking lot at Dick we saw the guy and she jumped out of my car yelling at him why did he do that to her but now that she is in front of weirdo. You want to have a real conversation now, isn't that what you said talking about me being gay....... Not one workers are customer tried to help she has to be in her fifty's and this young guy and his girlfriend was giving her a hard time for being gay what's it matter she was not bothering them. Ending of story not one person except myself helped her the guy was young with a big white truck I hope he gets his in the end so be careful when out at night cause the customers and staff at Dicks won't help you if your in trouble read more

If you want to get a burger and see teenagers get ARRESTED at night. This will be the place you want to see then. I can't come to this place without there being a heavy Edmond's Police presence. Every time I come here they watch and wait like birds of prey waiting for their meal. I feel like this is just profiling at it's worst. Can't get a quota from adult criminals, so they target the teens. I've been to all of the Dick's locations in the state and this is by far the worst. Some would say the Capitol Hill location, but there I never see the police scoping their next notch. Now for the food. A joke on most nights. The fries & buns are generally soggy after you get to your car. The parking situation is bad. Everyone tends to speed through the lot and making it out of the lot is like watching an old Smoky & bandit movie... They need to fix the left turn issue on the northern part of the lot. I've been in many near misses there because some one wasn't paying any attention coming out. I suppose this is Dick's legacy at it's best. I'll let you decide. read more

I have been eating Dicks burgers since I was in high school in the 1970's and they have not changed one bit. Still the same food and great prices. You can't beat a Disk's Deluxe or the hand-cut french fries, especially late at night. I also appreciate the fact that the pay and benefits for the employees is so good. This just proves you can pay an employee well and keep them around for a long time and still stay in business and make a good profit. Some people don't like the burgers, but you get what you pay for and they are consistent. i have had a better burger at other restaurants, but always come back to this as a staple. It is a good solid burger at a reasonable prce. The french fries are great when they are fresh, sometimes they can be a little soggy, but still have great flavor. I highly recommend this place as somewhere to go when you need a quick and cheap burger fix! read more

The food here is simply amazing! The staff is not only super friendly but also lightning-fast in their service. Plenty of space and easy parking make it a hassle-free experience. They even have special meals for kids, like plain burgers, which is a thoughtful touch. The prices are surprisingly inexpensive for the quality of the food. Warm service with a genuine smile always adds to the dining experience. It's a go-to spot for nice staff, fast service, and food that hits the spot. My personal favorites are the Deluxe Burger and Fries, Deluxe Cheeseburger, and the classic Dick's Deluxe. Can't get enough of the deliciousness! read more

I am a big fan of Dick's. Everyone knows this is an institution in the city. This is the first time, however, that I ate Dick's burger and fries cold. My friend bought the burger and fries for me for lunch but got delayed and I received the food a few hours later. They sat in the bag for a few more hours and I ate really late in the evening because I was hungry and nothing else was available. The burger and fries were delicious. I am pleased to report Dick's is good even after getting cold in the bag for about 10 hours. read more

Dicks Burgers have a great selection, great burgers, fish, chicken, fries, onion rings, pizza and special orders! (If you eat at Dicks in Spokane.) This offshoot of a family war where the Seattle Dicks got the Dicks in name only, loses out big time. Do yourself a favor, next time you travel east on the 90, when you get to Spokane get off on Division St, go north one block, turn right into the real deal, genuine, best Dicks anywhere. You'll thank me for it later. read more

I know Dick's is an "institution" and they have good fries, but I just walked away from the window, jeans LOW AND LOOSE, because for whatever reason, they refuse to sell a burger without the abomination that is tartar sauce. "We only make our burgers one way," he says. I say, "great, but all I want is no sauce, you can't just not put the sauce on? It's not too complicated." "Sorry, we only make our burgers one way." Burger Master, here I come... Dicks. read more

Not impressed, severely lacking in the taste realm. Doesn't compare the the freshness of the other locations. I've never gotten a decent/ fresh batch of fries. The parking lot is generally full of little kids and their "lowered rides" running and revving, especially late night. Doesn't seem like there's much control over that but not sure if the companies issue or not? read more

OK you people who knock Dicks don't know what the rest of us Seattlites know. Their Deluxes are the best cheap hot burger anywhere. The fries are fresh, huge and salty. Their shakes are fresh and mixed each time. They have always treated their employees well and even give tuition matching if you go to college! Snobs can go elsewhere. read more

Nothing better than a bag of Dick's food at 1:30am. Always get the same order... Deluxe, Cheese, fries, 2 tartars & a chocolate shake. AWESOME! I love the cheese they use on the cheese burgers. (almost always have to eat the melted cheese off the wrapper!) So glad they FINALLY expanded to another location! Hope to see more :) read more

Very fast but quality sucks compared to when I grew up in Wallingford. It shouldn't be that hard to find good help these days. I feel like the food I bought was made by a blind hateful frat boy. The only reason it's 2 stars is because I know they can do better. read more

Basically the greatest thing ever. Cheap food that tastes like our great lord of lightening Zeus handcrafted the meat from his own personal cattle. And the buns created put his his own. All around good food. You won't find better food at this price. read more

missed those burger very much . . read more

This is almost as good as it gets! The reason it is not 5 star is that for some reason this dick's is not as good as the ones in Seattle. Maybe a different process in how they cook the meat? read more

I love this place good burgers basic menu moves customers along fast, a long line but it's worth it. Yum Yum. I don't indulge much so when I do I make it count. read more

Good food fast and reasonably priced. We love this place and will visit atleast 1-2 times a month. Stop in order and eat. Love the new location. read more

These burgers taste about as good as last nights garbage, I hope I'm never forced to eat this garbage in my life! I hate dicks.

There no place like dicks. These are the best because they're the perfect size and they're cheap. The fries here are the best!
