Passed up on their dogs but decided to try milkshake instead. Great milkshake nothing much to say.

I've driven by this place frequently for 20 years, but never stopped. It looks cute from the outside, but I figured they did not have any veg friendly items besides fries and drinks. It does often look busy though, with a drive thru and a couple tables to sit at outside and a small area to go in and order. I've heard good things about their chili cheese fries and milkshakes. Their hours are later than most. Recently they added veggie dogs and now it is a new favorite. I've only been twice so far, but I tried all 3 of the veggie dogs and have been telling everyone about it. The field roast dogs they use had me checking my food to make sure they gave me the veggie one so I really appreciated that they marked it with a green sticker so I can feel a little more confident. My favorite is the Chicago veggie dog, it even comes with sport peppers which may not be for everyone, but are super cute. I appreciate that they have been willing to make modifications for me as needed. I'm hoping to learn on my next visit if they will let me sub the veggie dog on some other options to make even more delicious food. I definitely want something with kraut. The polish sandwich also looks interesting. It can be a little difficult to eat on the go, but I do like the container they pack it in which helps eliminate mess and its the perfect food to take to a park. The southern lemonades also sound delicious. The fries were nice and salty, but a little too crisp, but I will give them another go.

So was sitting minding my own business on a fall Saturday morning watching football while my wife was out running errands and when she returned surprise I get two chili dogs form you know who, I love my wife she gets me, anyway mainly she has been getting chili dogs from here for years and when I've been good I get some too must have been a good boy. So enough bs these chili dogs come on a steamed bun the chili is without beans so it's chili real deal not too spicy savory with a nice amount of ground beef, the dog is kinda on the smallish size but oh well it's cooked well and the whole thing eats well. So I'm sitting here on the couch wanting more so I check out their menu and guess what they have a bunch of options I didn't know about burgers also if you're into vegetarian options they got them also fries and shakes. So I'm gonna be checking out the menu oh they have their chili in a can so you can create your own chili dog at home. This restaurant has been around for along time and been off my radar for too long if I remember correctly there's sit down dining but mainly it's a drive through I know my wife will be backbut I will too.

For many years,I have never stepped foot here thinking it's mainly a sit down place that features German sausages that caters to people who is into German food.. boy, was I way wrong! It's a quick and fast burger and hot dog drive thru... like a Dick's burger that features a smaller not so messy style burger. The service at the drive thru is definitely quicker than if you purchase at the counter. We ate at the parking lot..there's more spots in the back but you would have to get back on the road and loop back into the lot if you want to park and eat. They have some outside seating.. Their burgers are classic and the stand out is the homemade buns it's a soft and pillowy bun that doesn't fall apart. If you want a decadent big burger then go to Nick's next door. The hotdogs are your standard size small hotdogs but they are still good. I had a hamburger, a dog and a large fry to share. The dog was good with all the tangy and fresh toppings on the Chicago dog which is how I liked it. There are a couple others like the Cabo dog and some other one.. also features chili dog and corn dog.. Compared to Dick's, their fries come in a large soda cup and though it's not the softer freshly pressed kind,we really liked this hot crispy skinny fries. It was very addicting. The hubby's chocolate milkshake didn't disappoint. Very good he said like Dick's. My pineapple lemonade was sweet and tangy and it had bits of pineapple chunks.. I thought it's way better than having pop. Super cheap, fast (not Dick's fast), scrumptious it's nice to have a break from McDonald's..Wish they have more locations!

Email from Wienerschnitzel inviting me to enjoy 2 for the price of one! Bogus!

I received an email from Wienerschnitzel inviting me to come in for a two-for-one Luau hot dog. Unfortunately, the website will not allow you to apply the promo code and for you to get a free hot dog it can only be done through the website so it was explained by the manager at the establishment. Extremely poor service from the manager and bad excuses to go with poor quality dogs is a recipe for bankruptcy. I definitely will not go back.

Chili cheese dog, chili cheese burger, chili cheese fries...

So, my one complaint is that there is only one location and its 1-1/2 hours away. Works largest hot dog chain? Open more stores... I grew up eating Wienerschnitzel. They are all over in So Cal. Why not up here in Washington? Well, still damn good junk food. Kind of a treat I guess. Reminds me of when i was little. Chili cheese dog, chili cheese burger, and chili cheese fries. Can't go wrong...

This Wienerschnitzel has been here my whole life and I've eaten here many times. It's consistently delicious. I can genuinely say that every single item I've ever had was fresh and hot. I feel pretty lucky to have this so close by - I only realized recently that the only other location in Washington is in Fife! The staff that works here are always very friendly and do what they can to keep the drive thru line moving as quickly as possible (it can get backed up to the main road). I definitely recommend stopping by if you haven't yet and even if you have! You can never go wrong with a Wienerschnitzel chili dog!

It definitely worked on me - usually specials are relegated to a small corner of the menu, but here they are front and center. I couldn't resist and so I got the Pot Roast Dip. It's a sandwich that has a good amount of pot roast, some bacon jam that's glued together with provolone and Swiss cheese all on a Giuseppe roll (From Macrina Bakery? It's a crust roll). The bacon jam and sandwich dressing makes the sandwich really sweet, but the Angus sauce is very salty, and so when the sandwich is dipped it all balances out interestingly enough. It was good to try, but I think I'll order something else next time. I also got a Mocha latte- very smooth and delicious. I would get this again!
