We wanted blizzards and went to this Dairy Queen. We ordered 2 blizzards, one snickers with extra snickers and one cookie dough with extra cookie dough. I went inside to order. Horrible customer service & desserts. #1 the lady gave me one blizzard which was filled higher than the rim. I asked for a dome lid and she looked offended. #2 didn't give me the 2nd blizzard until I asked for it. Again, looked offended that I was still in the store. #3 I paid nearly $18 for these 2 blizzards with 'extra'. NO EXTRA in it. The Snickers barely had any candy. Cookie dough had no extra anything. If I spend that much, I would expect that I would at least get what I ordered. People just want what they order and pay for. Is that too hard? THIS Dairy Queen ruined our treat. Smh. read more

Saw something online recommending their soft serve over all the other places with a similar offering, and then saw the 'Original Cheeseburger Meal Deal' on the menu. Haven't thought abt DQ for lunch since I used to go there as a kid but this looked like a good deal for the price. Glad I tried it. The burger was as good as any of the other trad burger joints and the fries were also good. The service was fast, professional and friendly. So disappointed. It started off with a young lady working in the drive thru who sounded like she was having a bad day or maybe she is just naturally rude. I ordered 2 LG pumpkin pie blizzards. When I asked for lids she rolled her eyes. My best friend and I wait all year for them to come out. After getting home, we got to see how what they were like. There was very little "stuff" in either one. In mine I found 2 little crunchy pieces and could barely taste the pie seasoning. When you spend over $15 for 2 blizzards you would think you would actually get what you ordered. I have added pictures. You can see how much vanilla soft serve is there. In fact the entire top and all the way down to the bottom 2 1/2 inches was only vanilla soft serve. I had to dump it into a bowl to find anything else. We will. NEVER GO TO THIS DAIRY QUEEN AGAIN. The last few times that I've been there, the customer service was terrible. The ice cream cone that we bought slide of the cone as soon as they handed it to me and it went inside my car, down the seat. They were like" oh yeah it's been happening a lot lately". Why wouldn't they warn a customer? They were so put out that they had to make another cone. What I noticed was they barely put any chocolate on it when it was dipped. Looks like all new kids, but they should be trained correctly. Second time I went, when we got to the window, I said hi and the girl didn't say one word to us. This place is located off of Evergreen Way and is hard to miss with their gigantic DQ sign outside. The inside is spacious and well lit. Their cleanliness was a tad suspicious but was within the norm of most fast food restaurants. The service was prompt and friendly. In terms of food, I ordered a cookie dough blizzard. For some reason, I did not find it to taste that good, being a bit too sweet and lacking cookie dough. It is possible that DQ changed their recipe over the years and I have not had DQ for a long long time. It is also possible that my palate changed. Yay!! We finally got to try Dqueens other menu items. We see their commercials in Hawaii advertising their $5 lunch... chicken baskets .... burgers..and other menu items. It's not that we dont have Dqueens in Hawaii..we do....They just are limited to dairy desserts and hotdogs no burgers chicken salads etc. The Dqueen here (on the mainland) seemed more of a restaurant than a small snack counter (like in Hawaii) The restaraunt was clean and the staff was really friendly and cool. Poor customer service, lack of consistency with quality of food or blizzards, no option to call in an order and pick it up inside, line of cars 8+ long, constantly. Its not hard to make an oreo blizzard.....every single time it tastes different. Old ice cream? Old oreos? Nearly no oreos? Maybe a bit of random caramel mixed in? A hint of coffee flavor? Cup only filled up 75%? You name it. I drive by this location a few times a week, different times, different days. There is always a MASSIVE line. Their lack of figuring out how to have a protected order taker outside, helping to move customer orders along is ridiculous and poor business. I know covid sucks, it's a bad situation for everyone. If you're going to not allow paying customers inside to order take out....then figure out another solution. I've waited in line, 10+ minutes, 1 single car moved......at that rate it takes an hour for 6 car orders to go through the drive thru. Bologna. This location has always had issues. Their lack of customer service is just oozing during a time when they could have more employees working and a better system in place. We will not patronize this location anymore. Hard to keep trying to give a business money when you can't even drive up and order without waiting 30+ minutes. 10+ times I've had to turn away, not worth trying anymore. P.S. This is a great place for icecream and gatherings with friends. It is an older location that could use some basic maintenance upgrades; however, is clean. The service was friendly, quick, personable and overall very good. The staff working when I visited clearly care about their guests and providing good service. It is always nice to see crew members who have a smile on their face, make eye contact and smile, so thanks DQ for this. The fries are great and the fry sauce is appreciated! What is not so great is the chicken strips. My order contained smaller strips that had a small amount of chicken. I know this is a vendor issue, as it is an issue I have had at other DQ locations. My advice is to visit this location when you want a great "fast food meal"'; however, stay away from the chicken strip basket. The crispy chicken sandwhich meal would be a much better option! read more

Where to begin with this place? They say a fish rots from the head down and that's certainly the case with this family owned franchise. My child worked here for several months and told how the owners were so cheap they'll reuse cups that have fallen on the floor. They're never on time with their blizzards of the month due to the cost of signage and ingredients. Look at when other DQ's publish their monthly menus, then look at this place, they're always behind. The father/husband is a bully who yells at his teen workers and threatens them regularly. The wife is powerless to stop him, and only the son (who helps out part time) is pleasant to work with. No one who works there smiles, none of them offer pleasantries, nothing. And that's a direct reflection on the training and management they're under. During this corona pandemic the employees aren't being given gloves or masks or taking any precautions against skin to skin contact at the drive thru window, however every other place I've been to has. I hit the drive through tonight with a $20 order and the ONLY thing the kid at the window said to me when I pulled to the window was the price. He handed me my food and that was it, no greeting, no goodbye, nothing. And it's like that with all of their employees, just terrible customer service. When I asked why he didn't flip my blizzard before handing it to me he said because of corona virus concerns. Huh? This is the worst DQ I've been to. They do a terrible job at making stuff (inc blizzards) and they make their sundaes noticeably smaller than other DQ's. The other night was the last straw. I purposely ordered a large strawberry sundae because their mediums are so small. The large was far from it. The strawberry sauce was disgusting (much more fake tasting than it used to be). It was $3.99 for that damn sundae. McDonald's sundaes are better and so much cheaper! Their fries aren't good here either. Stick to ordering the basic soft serve cones at this DQ. read more

Have you ever wondered why all of the Dairy Queen's in Seattle have dissapeared?? I love me some DQ. I happen to live a few blocks from this one. Granted, i dont eat a ton of fast food, but Dairy Queen is one of the better choices. Their onion rings are better than any other chain, i love that they serve hotdogs and hamburgers, as well as some delicious chicken choices. I also noticed they offer a fish-wich now too. The number one reason i come here? This location serves FRY SAUCE. Yep. im a fry sauce afficionado! They charge 15 cents for it, not as good as the original (Arctic Circle) but the closest thing ive found to it. Came here to pick up dessert on the way home. I was greeted by a few employees and asked if I was ready to order. Purchased two large blizzards for almost $10. And since they weren't served upside-down, I inquired about the recent advertisement stating if they aren't served upside down, the next one was free. It seems like the girl that gave me my treats was in training and acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. She stated that since I got lids that it would be hard to serve upside down. I repeated the advertisement and said it shouldn't matter with or without lids. I walked out chuckling. I don't like to be THAT person, but if you are going to advertise something, then at least follow through. As I was about to leave the lot, an employee came up and gave me a punch card and said, "here's a free blizzard", but nothing else. I said thank you and drove off. Later on I looked at the punch card... "purchase any five combo meals at regular price and get a sixth cobmo free" This has nothing to do with blizzards. It's a fast food joint... Not sure what you expect. We stop here for their blizzards on occasion. The drive-thru is always busy (at least when I go) but it's better than going inside (because it's not always the cleanest place...) How on earth do you mess up a blizzard? Mix 2 different ones and "forget to add the mint coloring". One of the easiest things to make in fast food and Dairy Queen screwed it up. They mixed the turtle pecan with the mint mouse pie.... Not what I ordered. JUST a mint mouse pie. Then the kid proceeded to throw mint chips and coloring and mix it together... Went through the drive thru ordered a medium vanilla cone, some girl in dark lipstick was talking into my cone like it was a microphone to another co worker while she was waiting for my receipt. When she handed me my cone it had dark speckles on it from her lipstick. I told her i didn't appreciate her talking into my food and dropped the cone on the ground, she said i was rude. No i was mad. The food here is always really awesome. But every single time i go through the drive thru i get pissed off. The drive thru crew is either extremely new Everytime i go, or not very experienced, or please excuse me for saying this, but air headed and just not that bright at all, or they are distracted and not listening ever. They messed up the people's order in front of me, and when i was ordering I was talking and it was like the chick wasn't even listening! I had to repeat myself multiple times. Then she was quiet and all of a sudden this dude starts talking to me, and guess what? I had to repeat my entire order again, lol and what's even funnier, is that he made me repeat a few things too! Ugh! And this wasn't the first time or the second time I've encountered this here. I usually never ever complain like this when it comes to drive thru cause I've worked drive thru, i know how difficult it can be, but I've also worked in customer service for 7 years in the past and i know for a fact these people should be experienced by now since the first time that happened to me because that was months ago. They could have at least sincerely apologized to my face, but no one did. The guy was more focused on his job, i don't think he even looked at me, didn't ask how my day was, it was like he was reading the steps on what to do at drive thru in his head. I'm really sorry for complaining cause like i said, i feel for you guys. But after experiencing that 5+ times, it's a little ridiculous, and it's even more ridiculous no employee tried putting a smile back on my face. I got a slushy, they handed it be me DRIPPING and it was spill all over myself, and my car. I decided to let it go, I open my chicken strip box only to see that there's a smeared liquid (like a sauce from another persons meal) all over the outside of my box from when they closed it with the liquid all over their hands.
