Guy who was wrapping them seemed to make the extra effort to squish all 4 sandwiches while wrapping. The other 3 were sloppy, soggy and poorly assembled. Sandwich. Never experienced this anywhere. As for service, when I came back for a refund or remake of it, the man at the counter never said a word, no apology, no acknowledgement of anything. Took to the back counter, pojed at it then looking annoyed, began making a new one. This is when I decided to write a review. TL;DR: I walked out after an employee who'd been mopping and cleaning with filthy water put their hands on my sandwich without changing gloves. I walked in one evening to grab a sandwich. As soon as I opened the door, the smell hit me - some employee was standing in the middle of the store, slathering some really foul-smelling mop water all over the floor. I mean, it's nice that they're making the effort, but that mop water looked (and smelled) like it hadn't been changed out all day. Gross. I decided to soldier on anyway. I ordered my sandwich, but then as they were working on my sandwich the mopper walked behind the counter, pulled out a red pail with similar gray, foul-smelling water in it, and started "cleaning" the surface near the food prep area. Now I was starting to get skeezed out. I figured what the hell - that employee surely won't be touching my food, right? Wrong. The other two employees finished making my sandwich and slid it over towards the cash register. The employee working the bucket squeezed out the rag they'd been using to "clean" the counter, stashed the bucket under the cash register, and then - without changing the gloves they were wearing - *put their hand on top of my sandwich* to begin wrapping it up. With the dirty gloves. Right on the sandwich. I couldn't stay quiet at this point. "OK, hang on a second here - did you just wring the rag out into the bucket and then turn around and touch my sandwich without changing gloves?" I was keeping a level tone of voice, but I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The employee gawped at me. The other two turned around to look. "Wh...what?" We always have gotten fast friendly service from the employees last night was no different. I've been coming to this place ever since I moved to lake Stevens about 6 years ago. Manager Zane runs a polite and friendly sub shop with speed and accuracy. I often see the same employees even after all these years and that says a lot. One day I had my family with me and I wasn't paying enough attention and I accidentally said yes to Mike's way. When we got home to eat I was met with extreme disappointment. However, even with my distaste for all the extra added ingredients such as oil, vinegar, onions, etc I was pleasantly shocked that the combination was in fact delicious. In all of my 65 years of life I have never come across a worker with such intentional deliberate acts of poor customer service and being a terrible person. This guy really gives hard working fast food workers a terrible name. I got to Jersey Mikes about 2:20pm on February 1, 2025. There was a line of about 4-5 groups of people. I waited in line for about minutes and it was not moving at all. They had 3 guys behind the counter. So I thought I would place my order on the app while I was waiting. I waited about 10 minutes and I noticed they had not pulled any of the orders off the printer for the app orders. I waited about another 5 minutes and went up there and asked if they were working app orders as I have not seen them pull any of those orders. He asked me my name and I was really hesitant to give it to them. I eventually did. They told me they work the customers in the store before they work the app orders. I didn't want them to work my order in front of anyone cause I knew there were orders that were ahead of mine. In the meantime people came in and got in line behind me. I told them to go ahead and get in front of me as I placed my order through the app. I didn't think I needed to be in line in order to get my order. So I am waiting in the line behind the people that I just told to go in front of me. We just kept waiting. They finally put their order in which was for footlong. They finally started making her order at which time they still are not making my app order. I can see the order on the counter with my name but no sandwich next to it. They finally got the meat and cheese on the people's order in front of me. We are talking about if they just took the minutes to dress their sandwich they could get them out of here. They still would not finish their sandwich. It is down to 2 guys as one had cut himself. The meat and cheese guy decides to take the order from the family of 4 behind me. Still will not finish the peoples order in front of me or even start my sandwich. He cut the bread for mine about 10 minutes ago. He is still dinging around and then decides to start the meat and cheese for the family of 4 behind me. Still will not finish the peoples order in front of me or even put my meat and cheese on my sandwich. The people in front of me are getting fed up and they tell me they are leaving they don't have time for any more of this. I said yeah me too. Then I asked him for a refund. He continues to work on the family behind me order. I had to ask again for a refund and he said I just need to finish up with this other order. I said YOU MEAN THE FAMILY'S ORDER BEHIND ME????? I told him that's ok I will dispute the charges with the bank and left. I watched him intentionally not work my order. The bread was still sitting there with nothing on it. He knew it was my order and he knew I had questioned them about the app orders. I will say that the app orders that were ahead of mine were all prepared and sitting on that back counter. I write reviews all the time but I never have written a bad review. I just gave them a great review 3 months ago. I got the best customer service there. They were great. They need to get rid of their bad apple before they lose any more customers. I talked a bit with the people I let go in front of me. I was telling her how great this place was and how I started coming here instead of Jimmy Johns. I can say they lost 3 customers today as I am sure they are going back to JJ's just like me! Oh and by the way I have already reached out to corporate. Waiting to talk to them. First time visiting this location and it did not disappoint. Fantastic service from Marissa, Diego, and Zane. Everything was very flavorful, and the rosemary parm bread was very high quality. Love that we have a Jersey Mikes in LS. They have such great sandwiches! My only complaint is every time we have gone in there lately the employees have laptops taking up customer tables. There are only three 4 person tables and they always have one in use with their laptops. Kind of annoying when you have customers wanting to sit and eat in a full restaurant. read more

The #7 Turkey Provolone, I do "light" Mikes way otherwise by the time I eat it for lunch at work it would be soggy if I didn't do light. Herbs and blend with the Turkey and cheese is just delicious. And the #17 Mikes Philly Cheesesteak is to die for. Perfect blend of meat and peppers the flavor is just tasty and textures are perfect. **This updated review is strictly for service** Jersey Mike's continues to be one of our favorite spots to get a quality, packed sandwich with fresh ingredients. Unfortunately for the owner of this specific store, this location has issues. We came in around 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon. There were only three other customers in line ahead of us but we left close to 30 mins later with our to go order of 3 regular sandwiches. There was one gal on the back grill that was obviously new and doing her best to read the cards and make orders. There was another guy cutting meat and cheese and one other girl making sandwiches. For a busy town, on a weekend, they were clearly understaffed. The girl who made our sandwiches, although nice to us, kept saying "I'm not listening" to the guy who was clearly the shift leader. (That doesn't do much leading or helping as far as we could tell) She made a great sandwich but probably one of the slowest I've ever seen as the line behind us kept building. She also complained about how busy it was having to work a 3.5 hour shift which we all laughed. Not once between any of the ringing up or other tasks did we see hands being washed. Also saw many items touched with fresh gloves on that shouldn't have been so that's fun. We all wondered why the guy didn't ever jump on the line and start throwing some Mike's way on sandwiches but instead he cleaned the grill and kept just pushing sandwiches into a big line. Even helping ring people up would have been a better option. Both of the people with me ate a bag of chips in line because it was taking so long ha. Two of us coming from quick serve management positions years ago agreed that there is a lot of improvement to speed, customer service and cleanliness that could be done here. I apologise in advance for the misspelling, I'm fuming. First off I love Jersey Mikes and I have never had an issue with the Lake Steven's Jersey Mikes before. My wife called in the order like so many times before with no issue, this time my sandwich came home missing over 1/2 the vegetables that had been asked for, the order was a # 44 add every veggie you have except for jalapeño. What was made was a #44 that had 9 pieces of shredded lettuce, 2 tomato slices and nothing else. I called the store and spoke to someone that at first was very empathetic until she realised that she had taken the order, as soon as this realisation was made, she immediately became aggressively defensive, like a tweenage daughter gets when they are used to being right and refuse to take or accept responsibility for something they had done wrong.... with this sudden change in demeanour, I came within milliseconds from losing all composure...... after I allowed her to place all blame on my wife and then watched her throw my wife under the Jerzey Mikes van and proceed to drive over her, I paused for a moment and asked for clarification, I asked her, so if I ordered a sandwich and asked you to add every veggie you have hold jalapeño, that means only put 2 slices of tomatoe and 9 slivers of shredded lettuce? she repeated that she took the order and my wife never asked for any specific vegetable and she put the vegetables on the sandwich that are listed on the recipe...... Heres the best part, I never asked for anything or demanded anything, if the person had just simply said, oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, when I heard every veggie, I thought it meant every one that came on the sandwich the way it is listed on the menu, I'm so sorry. I would have smiled over the phone, while thinking, wow the world isn't in self destruct mode, this person just acknowledged a mistake while recognising how the mistake was made and is just simply owning it. Then I would have said, you know what, I appreciate your genuine nature and even though my sandwich was not the way I like it, there was nothing wrong from a quality of ingredients just the lack of and her time listening coupled with genuine ownership of the error was more than enough to restore my faith in our deprived social economic society, I would have told her she showed great emotionally intelligent leadership traits and to have a great rest of her night. BUT she didn't do any of those things and for a third time blamed my wife so I thanked her and began submitting this review along with formal complaints. Wow !!! I was impressed by their subs. The bread was so fresh which is the biggest part of the entire deal. when I bit into it, it was far beyond my expectations . I thought it would be your basic sub. I am pretty picky about sandwiches especially when the person has to handle it. Stopped into this place on Sunday with the fam and was very happy to see the enthusiasm of the food making staff. They talked about their favorites and because this was my first time at a Jersey Mike's they were patient while I looked over the menu and were quick to answer all of my questions. The sandwiches were very good. I had a regular hot Mikes favorite Philly cheese steak that was pretty good. I've been to Philly to have real ones so I can't say it was great but not bad for little ole Lake Stevens. I was also impressed to find out how much Jersey Mike's donate to Veteran groups and as a Vet that's a plus in my book. I will be visiting this place again for sure, there is a lot to try out still. First time trying Jersey Mike's. Received some coupons so decided to try it out. We were in the mood for a hot sandwich. I got the Chipotle and my SO the Big Kahuna cheese steak. Texture of the meat was weird and melted processed american cheese was all I could taste. We both finished but for the $20 spent it could of should of been better.
