My husband and I ordered 2 loaded bakers (potatoes) and they were so HUGE we took one home and shared the other. Loved the choice of toppings: bacon, green onions, sour cream & cheese. Also added chicken on one of them for an extra charge. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. I asked for a lot of things while we were there & Tawney never seemed like I was too demanding & always had smile and good attitude for whatever I needed. Loved the many choices on the bbq sauces also to put on the meats & favorite is the sweet one. The restaurant/bathrooms are clean and loved the ambiance. We stopped in here after a day out with all the kiddos. We had a fairly large order for 10 people. Everyone had a nice variety of food and sides. The baked potato is the size of a football !!! All the choices were pretty good. The brisket was dry however. We have an exec chef in the mix and he totally nixed the brisket. Ribs were good, the polish kielbasa was yummy. Best in the bunch was the pulled pork. I had that on my baked potato and it was so delicious. Honestly, that baked potato was big enough for three meals! Kiddos all had Dino nuggets. To be clear, it's a fast food bbq chain, so my 5-star rating is based upon similar, competing restaurants in the class, such as upscale burger chains. The food met my expectations, but the staff and facility exceeded them. This restaurant is clean and calm. If you know anything about bbq joints, you know they tend to be sticky and gritty with tables and chairs steeped in the saucy residue of 10,000 prior customers. This place was clean, sleek and shiny. The staff were friendly and efficient. I had my food promptly. This was my first visit to this location, so I don't know about past experiences people have had. I was told they were under new management since a week before my visit. Considering pricing is competitive with many other fast food outlets, but the service and atmosphere much nicer, I was surprised there were so few customers. A plus that it's on an outparcel for a Walmart superstore, so you can take care of your errands in the same visit. I will definitely return to this location. Keep up the good work! read more

Brisket was ok , nothing to brag about and the pulled pork was dry and flavorless. Ordered one sandwich with sweet sauce and one with regular , Got no sauce on either. I placed this order on line, checked in at counter when the order was to be ready and was told they would get started on it now. I got some brisket beans to eat while I waited , 15 minutes later I went back to the counter and my order is just sitting in a cold table. No one let me know it was ready. Not honoring the coupon was no big deal but treating customers that walk in the door the way he did is absolutely unacceptable. oh wait, it gets better... just try and get a hold of customer service, the message (833)326-0606 says leave a nand and number and then hangs upon you before allowing this. the corporate email bounces back and the online form won't let you submit it without selecting an address from the drop down list, the drop down list that is blank. so no way to submit a comment. After visiting Dickey's for the first time, I must say their great tasting bbq is well worth the drive and I highly recommend!! What a delightful place! Nice comfortable atmosphere with plenty of seating. I'm very impressed by their customer service! It is rare to find a restaurant that actually makes their customers feel welcome and valued. Dickey's does just that! Superrrr fast and efficient service! I walked in, the staff helped me almost immediately. So glad there was no wait. As soon as I finished ordering as takeout, I went to pay and my food was already done at the same time. I actually expected to wait for a bit but Nope, these guys were lightning fast as well as multitasking. They simply made my takeout experience so much easier. All of the BBQ choices are excellent! This place is legit when it comes to bbq smoked slow but served in a fast casual atmosphere. I had Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket and Pork Ribs. The meats were well cooked and very tender. They were absolutely delicious, as was the Mac and Cheese. The coleslaw was also a perfect combination of flavors without too much dressing. I definitely like everything I've ordered from there. Avoid!!! The new owner is chasing away regular customers by not honoring specials and prior commitments. Even worse the quality of the food has suffered. Prior owners food was made to order quality. They would slice the meats for each order and trim the excess fat and gristle off before chopping. This insured your meat was moist and served properly. I ordered the extra large meal for some dinner guests. I ordered the sliced brisket and it was chopped but that was still good. Just not what I ordered. It said it feeds up to 6 people but we got 5 ribs. Wouldn't you think you would get enough for the amount of people it's for? So one person didn't get a rib. I thought the chicken breasts would be chicken breasts but it was chicken pieces and it was so dry even with adding the sauce. The rolls were as hard as rocks and I'm not exaggerating. The green beans was about a half a cup and there was no bacon in them as advertised. The other sides were just ok. I paid $100 for this meal and it was so disappointing and not the best experience with guests. My recommendation would be to not use them! read more

I've visited Dickeys twice now. Walked in, workers are teens that don't seem to have a clue. No adult supervision or anyone that seems to care or is in owner/management. Both times I had to wait about five minutes to get waited on, got lots of curious looks, as 3-4 teens behind the counter seemed to be in a daze. Finally I got to order, "slab of ribs please" and the response was the same both times, "oh we are out of ribs". How's can a rib place always be out of ribs and remains in business? I've always liked Dickey's, this location was average to dry. They close early at 9pm and only take to go orders near closing time. They were out of ribs and the other meat was a little dry, the baked potato casserole sides were good. I have had excellent BBQ at some Dickey's locations in the past so I keep going, often it's just average or below, this time it was average, I'll go again but maybe not this location for dinner, I might try here for lunch sometime. read more

Got here right before closing but they welcomed us with a cheerful smile and open arms. Don't let the quick-serve style fool you. This place is phenomenal! I'm pretty picky about my brisket and theirs was to-die for. It's shredded in its own juices and so tender and flavorful. I love the seasoning, quite salty & peppery, and how they don't drench it in sauce. The sauces are self-serve which is perfect because mine was so good it didn't need any. Andy had the pulled pork and topped it with the spicy bbq sauce. The side options are plentiful and each meat plate comes with 2 choices. I got the green beans and coleslaw for mine. I like green beans but often times the ones at fast-serve places are boring and seem like they just come straight out of a can but not here. They were super yummy! The owner asked if they were too spicy for me but I didn't think they were spicy at all; they were perfect with a nice smoky, peppery flavor. The coleslaw was too sweet for my taste but Andy enjoyed it. He got the jalapeño beans and mashed potatoes for his sides and said the jalapeño beans were really good too. We will totally be back! I could just sit down and stuff my face with a whole pound of that brisket. Maybe I will since you can just order the meats separate by the half pound read more

Food is absolutely delicious! Staff is always kind and courteous. We've met the manager a few different times who seemed to be a really stand-up guy. One time our order was wrong and they charged us for a larger order than what we actually asked for. They were very helpful and willingly fixed it for us!
