Bad French fries

Stopped in today, in a corner almost hidden from view. We are familiar with this chain , have gone many times at Fort Leonard Wood. My wife and I shared a rack of ribs , very good. My wife had side of beans and cold slaw, tasty snd I had cold slaw and French fries. Only complaint was the French fries, the clerk said corporate requires them be blanched before frying. They were cold and almost tasted burned. See photo

This place was amazing. We had the burnt ends and they were delicious. The fried okra was really good and the Mac and cheese was just ok to me. Great friendly service and they were fast. I will go back for sure.

This place smells amazing!!!! Yummy fast and friendly - come and get it!!!! Great place for sure !!!

Pulled pork sandwich and loaded potato casserole.

Great BBQ for reasonable price. Come here when visiting family for a quick bite to eat.

Pulled pork, Mac and cheese, iron waffle fries and loaded potatoes. Don't worry! I are it all!

Down right best barbecue in Springfield. I had no idea what I wanted or where to start and the employees could see the confusion on my face. They gave me several samples of different meats and had a ton of options for sides. The food was incredible, service was amazing but the place was so smokey my guest and I couldn't stand it. We ended up having to eat outside and I spent the rest of the day smelling like a restaurant.

The war has begun and Dickey's has entered a very competitive market in Springfield BBQ arena. The two meat entree for 10 bucks, free ice cream and giant pickles, the perfect meal! Great pulled pork, wasn't blown away by the ribs. Very kid friendly.

Delicious Smokehouse Salad!

Right when I walked in i was greeted with huge welcomes and friendliness. The menu options are posted above the counter where you order. They offer a nice variety of different barbecue plates and sides. I went for the Smokehouse Salad topped with tender beef brisket really yummy!! They also have a selection of Barbacue sauces to choose from I went for the spicy hot and it was delicious! The portion sizes are very generous the restaurant is clean and popular during lunch. My Smokehouse Salad had a really good portion of beef brisket on top and I couldn't finish it all as much as I wanted to, but now I think it's time for a nap.

Free self serve icecream!!

We were pretty much immediately greeted and told that we can sit where we'd like. We found a table and had a seat. The waitress took our drink order and went to go do her thing. Maybe 10 or 15 minutes later she came back with our drinks at last. I always hate eating dinner at places that are primarily a bar because the service is usually terrible and that's pretty much how it went with our visit. 45 minutes after ordering our food , we were still waiting on it, even our appetizer, and our drinks were in a constant state of needing a refill with the waitress nowhere to be found. I planned to have a couple mixed drinks while I was there, to try some different things, so they literally lost money by not coming back to the table to check on us. I didn't have the opportunity to order more drinks. The food finally arrived. My sad potato with chicken was nothing special and was pretty small for the price. My husband didn't like his food. I can't recall what he got. The manager was nice when he swung by, but by the time he came, the damage was already done. The whole visit was disappointing. We won't be back. This place really hasn't changed from what it was before they changed names and ownership. It was disappointing before and it remains so.

I will not drag the competition, but Dublin's Pass was the clear winner. I won't use specifics, but you get so much more bang for your buck, purely from a financial aspect. Let me first say, the eggs arrive on a plate with a light breading that adds the perfect balance of crunch yet balanced with the soft egg. All brought to you with a mustard that is the perfect combination of pickled veg and punchy mustard. The meat was cooked perfectly. The combination between the meat, egg and mustard marry one another beautifully to lend to a flavor roller coaster in your mouth. What really sets these Scotch eggs apart is the attention to detail. They taste like they are meant for a flavor rollercoaster. Each element feels intentional. Whether you're a longtime Scotch egg lover or trying one for the first time, this restaurant sets the bar high. Simply put: these are the Scotch eggs other places should be aspiring. Eggs aside, we also had an order of the boneless wings. Not a hard thing to get right, but we had roasted garlic parmesan with garlic aioli, to die for. I am from out of town, and this place is absolutely a must. It will never not be on to do list.

My daughter and I were in the area visiting and read several positive reviews so we decided to give…read moreit a try. When we first pulled up the place looked like it might have been closed, but it wasn't. We were just there at an unpopular time of day. It was around 2:45pm so after lunch and too early for dinner, but we were hungry. When we walked in, we were promptly greeted by a very kind and informative gentleman. We told him we had never been there before and he informed us that because it's a bbq place, they sell out very early. It was also St Patrick's Day and he told us even those specials were all sold out. He proceeded to tell us what they had left and made recommendations for us based on what was available. We ended up ordering the smoked turkey, burnt ends, potato salad and the bbq beans. The sauces we tried were a mustard based bbq sauce and their traditional house bbq sauce. We took a seat at a table while we waited for our food. It's a seat yourself dining room. Our only complaint about the dining room was the lighting and temperature. It was too dark inside and the temperature was too cold, but it was also very cold outside. Our food was brought out pretty quickly and everything was worth the wait! The turkey was so moist and tender and the burnt ends were charred just right. The potato salad and beans were both large enough to share. The potato salad had an unusual flavor because it was made with pickles which we love so it was different but incredibly delicious at the same time. I was so glad we ordered it. The beans were just okay for me, but my daughter really liked them. Personally, I don't get too excited about beans when there's better options to try. I'd rather put those carbs and calories to better use. LOL The sauces were both good but the mustard one had a very strong mustard flavor so if mustard isn't your thing you're not going to like it. The house sauce is just the right mix or sweet and smoky. As I'm writing this review, I'm craving the potato salad so much and the turkey too. If I'm ever back in the area, I'm definitely stopping there again. Nice staff, great food, and good portions what more to ask for.

My expectations were very high since the BBQ was amazing a few year ago…read more The brisket and smoked turkey were very good while the Texas hot links and andouille sausage links were far below average. The texture didn't seem right as I chewed it. Seemed like it had a filler and very little fat. I asked for 3 BBQ sauces in my to go order. When I got home, there weren't any. I had their BBq with an old bottle of store bought sauce that's been sitting in my refrigerator for months. Overall, great brisket and turkey offset by bad pseudo sausage. And a BBQ joint that doesn't give you the sauce is pretty unforgivable.
