Thank you Dickey's for being one of the few places open during Thanksgiving Day! Called in a huge order to celebrate my Team. We ordered the brisket, chicken wings, mashed potatoes, cabbage slaw and mac n cheese. The brisket was huge in portion, and the chicken wings were sticky (amazing)! The mashed potatoes and mac n cheese were average. Disappointed in the cabbage slaw, wish it was a coleslaw instead. What won our hearts over was their BBQ house sauce, both original and spicy. I would definitely eat here again.

Love this Dickey's! They did a fantastic job on a catering I did for the fire department. They love supporting first responders too! The food was great and the delivery was perfect. They even brought ice for my drinks. Harry is the owner and so great to work with. They are so awesome!

We went to visit some friends for a social distancing dinner and hang out time. My friend had good experiences ordering from Dickey's in the past and saw that they had a family pack for four people, so since there were four of us we decided to try it out. The meal comes with your choice of meat, two sides, sauce, toppings, and buns. We opted for pulled pork, their Carolina BBQ sauce, macaroni and cheese, and Caesar salad. The food all tasted really good. The pulled pork had a great, smoky flavor on its own and tasted really great with the Carolina sauce. The macaroni and cheese was creamy and yummy, and the Caesar dressing that came with the salad was also good. The buns were small slider style and were soft and good with the pork. Really, our main complaint was that while the meat portion was fairly generous, the side portions were really small for four people. We all had to skimp on our amounts to make sure everyone had enough. It's good for calorie counting and probably more indicative of what an actual serving size should be, but when you have four hungry people that want to enjoy a splurge on takeout the sizes weren't adequate. I still opted to go with four stars because the food was tasty, but it's really standing at more of a 3.5 because I don't feel you get as much value for your money with the portions. I will try them again next time I'm in the area and see how the individual meals are portioned versus the family pack.

Delicious takeout.

Easter dinner for one during COVID-19 quarantine. First time in and they gained a new customer. The full menu was available for delivery or takeout. I got the family meal for lots of leftovers during the ensuing week. 1 lb. each of sliced chicken and sliced brisket. Both meats were flavorful and the brisket was wonderfully lean. The service was friendly even in this tense time. Green beans, mashed potatoes, cole slaw and rolls all delicious. Easy access off Colonial Drive in Ocoee. Highly recommended!

Ordered 9 ribs with their Carolina sauce on the side. The ribs are really good, but again the sauce was a let down. The ribs are super tender-fall off the bone and good smokey bbq flavor. The fried okra is a must do. I dare suggest even if you aren't a fan of okra. Not gooey at all and good seasonings. The potato salad is in the mustard realm of most dominate "note". Once was enough. $25+ lunch. Their six ribs could have been enough FWIWorth

Okay-ish. We've been on the hunt for a great bbq place and we're still looking. The food is bland without much flavor at all. I want bbq that you can eat with or without sauce but at Dickeys, you need the sauce because the meat is very dry. With a 3 item platter, they give a tiny sauce cup that was barely enough for one piece of meat. I ended up having to use a bottle of bbq that I had in the fridge to make it able to be swallowed. It was that dry. The sides are bland and I had to doctor them up as well. Not worth it. We'll keep looking for a delicious bbq joint in Orlando.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is practicing social distancing under the Covid 19 restrictions. The dining room is closed and they are requesting that you don't use the outdoor seating area. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by an associate preparing food and the manager/owner met me at the door to explain the menu options. The cashier was super friendly and outgoing. There are lots of options and they all looked delicious. I decided to go with a brisket sandwich with beans and potato salad. I loved everything. I especially liked that the potato salad was very cold and that the beans were not gummy. The brisket was moist and tender. I appreciated that it was not over seasoned with salt and the bun was very fresh.

Unfortunately, it was mediocre at best. There are many barbecue places to choose from, that are much better.

The Vibe: We came on a Saturday and the parking lot was packed, which we took as a great sign--and it was. You walk through a fun outdoor patio before heading inside to order, and the space is incredibly unique--colorful, eclectic, slightly hipster, with dog photos and quirky decor everywhere. The line to order was pretty long, but we noticed a few open seats at the bar. We asked the bartender if we could order there, and she said yes--pro move. Skip the line, grab a bar seat. Drinks: We tried the house lager, which was solid and refreshing. What We Ordered: * Homemade Queso + Flavor Bomb 3 * "Famous" Pulled Pork Sandwich * "What the Fig?" Sandwich Standout Bite: The queso with Flavor Bomb 3 was incredible. Sweet, savory, and completely addictive. The pineapple in the flavor bomb added the perfect touch of sweetness and made the dish really stand out. Sandwiches: Both sandwiches were excellent. The pork was fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. The classic pulled pork was great, but if you like bold flavors, the "What the Fig?" is the way to go--the fig jam added the perfect sweet-savory balance. Flavor-packed and messy in the best way. Sides: Sandwiches come with your choice of Miss Vickie's chips, house-made slaw, or both for $1 extra. The house-made slaw was a standout for me--fresh, crisp, and the perfect complement to the sandwiches. Overall: Great food, fun atmosphere, and a unique experience from start to finish. We're already planning our next visit--and next time we're bringing our pup since they're dog-friendly and fully embrace it. Pro tip: Head straight to the bar if there's a long line--and don't skip the queso with a flavor bomb.

You order at the counter. Everyone we encountered was super friendly. We got help with the menu and some suggestions on options. I opted for the rib dog and side of mac and cheese. I also got a sweet tea. My husband got the brisket with fries and a (canned) Diet Coke. The rib dog was pretty impossible to pick up and eat, but was very tasty. The mac and cheese maybe top 3 I have ever had. The brisket my husband ordered was quite tasty, pretty smokey (not my fave, but he loved it). Meat was moist and tender. It was about $42 total before a tip for the two of us and we both had leftovers for another meal. This place is a little out of our way, but we would definitely stop in again if we were in the area. If I was really craving good mac and cheese might even make a special trip (being honest - I love bbq places for the sides. Its shameful but true.)

5 Stars - Absolutely Stellar BBQ in Winter Garden! Best in Central Florida…read more I've been chasing great barbecue for years, and 4 Rivers Smokehouse in Winter Garden consistently delivers one of the best experiences around. From the moment you walk in (or hit the drive-thru), the smell of that perfectly smoked meat hits you and you know you're in for a treat. We started with the 3x2 platter and loaded up on the Signature Angus Brisket (tender, juicy, incredible bark), Southern Pulled Pork (moist and flavorful), and Burnt Ends (smoky, caramelized, and absolutely addictive). The brisket especially is next-level--smoked for 18 hours and worth every penny of the upcharge. The St. Louis Style Ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with that perfect honey BBQ finish. But then I went back. And that's when things got really dangerous. On my return visit, I went with the 3x combo -- brisket, pulled pork, and burnt ends -- and it honestly blew me away. I thought I knew what to expect, but this combination hit differently. The burnt ends added a caramelized, smoky depth that elevated the whole plate to another level entirely. The only thing that stopped me from going back for a second round was the sheer generosity of the portions. There was simply too much food -- and I mean that as the highest possible compliment. Sides are no afterthought here either. The baked beans have that perfect smoky-sweet depth, the mac & cheese is creamy comfort in a bowl, and the coleslaw provides the ideal fresh crunch to cut through the richness. We also grabbed the Burnt Ends Melt sandwich on a previous visit and it was pure indulgence -- cheesy, caramelized onions, and those chopped burnt ends? Chef's kiss. The staff is always friendly and fast, even when it's busy. The restaurant has a clean, welcoming vibe with plenty of seating and that convenient Winter Garden drive-thru for quick cravings. Portions are generous, prices are fair for the quality, and everything comes out hot and fresh. We've done takeout, dine-in, and more -- never a disappointment. If you love real, slow-smoked barbecue done right with homestyle sides and killer desserts (the cookies and banana pudding are dangerous), head to the Winter Garden location on South Dillard Street. It's become our go-to spot and I can't recommend it highly enough. Pro tip: Get the brisket, add the burnt ends, and try not to embarrass yourself by going back for more. Trust me -- the portions will make that decision for you.
