My Uber order was missing large chili. I called the location and was told they were out of chili. I wanted to know why there's a charge and was told I had to talk to Uber. I asked for a manager and was told there was no manager. The girl was rude and hung up on me when I asked for her name. I called back went to a voicemail message which states it's not set up. I am not sure if the employee listed on the receipt is who we dealt with, no one had a name tag. The person who rang up our order seems to have manually punched in our meals and overcharged us compared to the pricing on in-store signage. One of the meals was somehow misplaced between the beginning of the prep line and the cash register. Entire transaction took a long time, food seemed to have been sitting all day. Both people working were not friendly, seemed mad about being there, and actually came and sat in the dining room at a table nearby us to talk and play on their phones while we ate. I tried to reach out on Facebook and never got a response when their online contact form didn't work. Finally got it to submit today. It's pretty clear why the reviews online for this location are so bad. I will not be back. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE. Let me preface that I have been in customer service for over 15 years and the CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. In regards to that. This was my first and ONLY time ever going to this establishment. I spent over $50 to feed my family and my entire meal was wrong, incomplete and the beans were rancid . I tried calling the location to receive a refund or a remake of my order. I called for over 30 mins and no one ever answered. I drove back up to attempt to get my missing food. Yasmine the "manager" said she will not remake or refund the order without bringing the other food back first. Because "that's not how we do things around here" when I asked if this is corporate policy. Then I asked her why nobody is answering the phone so she pulled out her personal cell phone saying nobody has called and after I showed her my call log of 10 calls over the span of 30 mins. She didn't want any part of it and said if I don't bring back the order then she isn't going to do anything about it. I drove home AGAIN (30 min round trip). I brought the order asking for a refund for the inconvenience and she then stated "I'm not taking this back because the way you put it in the counter and if you don't leave I'm calling the cops". At that point I was flabbergasted. I have never been treated or talked to that way by someone in customer service . Mind you this is my THIRD trip back to the store when I placed my order at 6pm it was now 8 pm and my now I have nothing for my family to eat. Finally she got Sam (the owner?) on HER cell phone. He told me that they will process the refund in 5-7 business days and to take his "word" that they will do it. After 5 mins of asking when can I expect the money he said "this is a multi million dollar business and your $60 doesn't mean anything to me now your starting to P*** ME OFF!!" And then hung up. I walked back to the counter and yasmine gave me the picture shown took a picture of my full name and phone number and said "don't worry this is all I need." Place looked closed. The entry door was covered in plywood. No one greeted. I was ready to order but they weren't. Woman made eye contact and continued chopping; after a minute she looked up and asked if I was ready. Ordered the chopped brisket and two sides. The brisket was room temp and ok. The mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were slightly warm and descent. Everything needed the microwave to kill any bacteria that grows from unregulated temperatures. Water was tinted pink. Ice cream machine is out of order. Floor and tables appeared cleaned. Restroom was out of toilet paper in one stall. Automatic light went off while I was in there. No soap at the sink. How are they cleaning their hands? Wanted to charge me .50 cents for a different barbecue sauce. Offered to give the other one back in exchange and the young girl did. Wow. Stop in after lunch to get some yogurt next door. I believe it's run by same owner since the cashier was wearing the Dickeys uniform. This would explain my service the other day when the cashier could not be found. Everything as far as the yogurt was fine today. I decided to sit in the restaurant and was disappointed that the tables all seemed to Rick back and forth. This caused me to keep picking up my cup so that I would not tip the table. Let me start by saying, Dickey's BBQ did not stand by their word in supporting Law Enforcement (Dickey's presented a group of Dallas Law Enforcement officers with certificates for a free BBQ Sandwichs) So today, Aug 1, 2017, I'm in uniform, since I just got off work. I stop at the Dickey's, Desoto location. I order the sandwich, present the certificate for the free sandwich only to be told that they will not honor the certificate. So why would Dickey's present theirself to a gathering of officers and hand out certificates for food, making their restaurant appear to support law enforcement and then not honor the certificates. My first visit and it was horrible. This place should close if there're not willing to serve customers with courtesy and respect. L walked in and the entire staff was in the dining area eating or on their cell phones. No greeting. No smiles. No acknowledgement. Just want you want. Ordered a special with a dessert pictured on the website and server argued that I couldn't get it and said it had to be a brownie. I pulled up the picture on my phone and asked the cashier. She quickly sided with the server and said they didn't have any more of that dessert. I pointed to the dessert that was clearly displayed and reiterated that it was the same one in the picture. She asked to see photo on my phone that's when the server repeated with an attitude that the dessert had to be a brownie. The cashier after verifying the picture finally agreed that it was the dessert on the picture and switched out the brownie. That didn't make the server happy. Cashier took my payment and no thank you. No come again. The staff went immediately back to sit and get back on their phones in the dining area. Poor poor customer service and the pulled pork was just okay. Hire people with people skills or the struggling business with not be open for long. Disappointed!! First time visitor. read more

Hi, I recently went to their Grand Opening under the new management. This place has really changed in new management. They have 3 big screen TVs, New drink fountains, Ice cream machine and the dining area is really organized and clean. They also have free WiFi. The advertised menu showed XL family meal for $49.99, when weI went to pay it rang up $59.99. I questioned it the young lady said 'I guess they must have changed the price.' Yes however what's advertised is $49.99. Obviously that's what I wanted. She said she would ask the manager on duty, the meat slicer guy, he re-rang up the order and it was still $59.99. We had to wait about seven minutes to call the owner to see if something could be done to correct the price. The young lady came back and said 'yes, they did change the price.' BUT NO ONE CHANGED THE SIGN!! What kind of manager changes prices and doesn't change the sign or inform their staff. Ridiculous! For all you know all the prices are wrong. Big disappointment. We left and went to Chicken Express, family meal deal was half the price, customer service was excellent and no manager was called because the advertised price was right!
