This is the best bbq I have tried for a while. The meat melts in your mouth and the bread is buttery and soft. Their coleslaw, jalapeno baked beans and loaded baked potato casserole are amazing. I had the westerner which is a sandwich with 2 meats. I had the pulled pork and brisket on mine. I didn't even need to add bbq sauce to my sandwich. Sundays kids eat free!! They have a limited menu for kids though...chicken nuggets, sliders or 1 meat plate are the choices. My kids of course stuck with their favorite, chicken nuggets. Oh and free vanilla soft serve ice cream with your meal! It is the real stuff, not frozen ice milk. :) You should give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

Had brisket, ribs and pulled pork tonight. I was very disappointed in the BBQ. I grew up in Texas and have had some pretty good BBQ. Maybe I'm spoiled, but really didn't enjoy any of it. The brisket, ribs and pulled pork were very dry and just lacked the BBQ savory flavors. There was no smoke flavor at all. My son even thought the pulled pork was turkey. it was a Monday night so it is possible that slow sales resulted in the disappointing quality. I do like their BBQ beans and their BBQ sauce is better than most. I love BBQ and wish better for Dickies. When I ordered online, I wish the brisket had an option for the point (moist, fatty) part of the brisket. That would help. The flat is too lean for me. Good luck guys! read more

Out of all the BBQ places I've been in AZ so far Dickeys has the best flavored meats. You can choose from pulled pork, chicken, brisket, sausage as your 2 meats and multiple sides- my favorites being potato casserole and mac and cheese. I've also tried their potato salad but wasnt impressed by it. The employees are always nice and helpful to answer questions. None of the meats come with sauce, you get to chose after from regular, sweet and "hot". Now... I'm not a huge fan of fire burning hot seasoning but the hot is still a mild hot to me. I usually grab the regular and mixes in some of the hot for the perfect flavor. One of the down sides for me at this place is that for what they serve their price is a little high. The 2meat plate with 2 sides is around 14 dollars and doesn't include a drink. So be ready for a check of 12-16 $ per person. Not outrageous but just a heads up! This restaurant is great! Don't order from Uber Eats. We placed our order, and around delivery time I checked the app, only to find out that our order had been cancelled. We called Uber eats customer service; USELESS! Love when I'm told there's no manager on duty. I work in Customer Service. There's always a manager on duty, its required. Then I was told they couldn't reach the restaurant, and it would be 3 to 5 days to get my money back. I called the Restaurant and Lauren was amazing and I sympathetic. She said a driver picked up our food, and in fact a sec ok and driver came to get our order. Lauren called Uber Eats for us as well and got the run around. The food at Dickey's is amazing, as is their service. I'm only posting this to warn people about Uber Eats. Hope their driver enjoyed our dinner. read more

This location lost about 5-6 customers walking out within a 15 minute period because they weren't taking orders and struggling to get what looked like a large pickup order out for another customer that also looked bothered. For the one table that was eating next to the line, the food came out staggered, missing sides, told rudely "oh yeah you're gonna have to wait for the sides" -- and then walks off. Meat was alright maybe even good, but the sides were borderline inedible. The delicious rolls were replaced by plain white cheap bread with butter. Best part is for two meals, we paid $40. Might as well have punched us in the face outside and stole our money. Online ordering here is really bad. The food is great, but 3 out of 5 last times we have ordered online we get home to find out they shorted us food. They don't review your food with you or your order with you. Last night I got home to find out my wife didn't get her BBQ classic brisket sandwich and even though we ordered pickles and onions, with the spicy sausage and sliced brisket, and chopped brisket none were included. We also got 0 dinner rolls or spicy sauce. To top that as I am waiting for food, they come over to tell me they are out of the creamed spinach, and would I like another side? At 7 pm? I probably should have cancelled the whole order there, but I said cole slaw. So they gave me a individual side to replace my medium creamed spinach. So since the creamed spinach and the sandwich was for my wife, you could say she was a little let down. In all we ordered $58 The other two times we ordered qty 2 on meats and only got 1. So the other day me & my friend decided to get some food after work. We didn't know where we wanted to go so we just walked around the area for a bit then I looked up restaurants nearby, Dickey's was near & we agreed BBQ sounded good so we decided to try it. The Bad: - Quality of food was basic as it comes. I had the 3 meat plate, my friend had one meat. We both wanted chicken but they were out...? So he had to settle for Turkey. And one of my meats was the same. * The turkey was basically like deli meat you get from a grocery store deli just a thick slice & I'd probably prefer the grocery store brand. * I also had the beef brisket, I didn't even finish it. Not good & very chewy. * The final meat I had was pulled pork, it was decent. * The roll/biscuit thing they have was one of the worst ones I've ever had. * I had Mac & Cheese and BBQ Baked Beans as sides, they were lackluster but not horrible. - They don't even marinate the food in bbq sauce or anything, you get your own. I thought it was supposed to be authentic. And they barely had any left in the pots. - So they were out of chicken, barely only bbq sauces & had no Unsweet Tea or Sweet Tea left... To end of this review...I would not recommend this place unless you wanna have below average food. I will not be going back. I feel like I wasted 30+ dollars. Never going back wish I can leave no stars. After a 14 hour shift at work I sure was hungry and decided here. Well I waited 20 min just to place my order; then it took 35 min just to get it. Before that no one even acknowledged me, and a couple ppl walked out due to waiting. Im a patient guy, I have to be being a truck driver and I get that everyone is short handed right now, but the service was just horrible as well. I wasn't even greeted. First time here. Ordered 2 brisket sandwiches and 2 order of fries. Total came to $23.94. Normally the price wouldn't bother me but the portions were so small! My order of fries had 6 waffle style fries. My husband had 10. Both orders counted included the broken pieces. Our sandwiches looked like they came in a kids meal! The flavor was awesome! My kids love this place. Don't miss out on the baked beans. Or at least that is what my daughter would tell you. My husband would not let you miss the fried okra. This is my third attempt eating at this rib joint, my first attempt the line was too long and the cashiers were either too slow or not enough. Had to walk out. Went in again today after going to a movie nearby not really concerned about the long lines, I was ready to wait 25 to 30 minutes for my meal. Sure enough, it took almost 30 minutes to get to the slow as molasses order takers and cashiers, and when I get to the front they don't have any ribs... I ask for barbecue chicken instead... They ran out of barbecue chicken. There is no sign warning the customer who has to wait 1/2 hour for his food, that they ran out of ribs, and barbecue chicken. It does a disservice to customers wait in the long line and wind up extremely disappointed. Since I invested all this time waiting for the food I got the pulled pork, which is not my first choice instead. The meet was kind of soggy, It could been around for a while. The flavor was passable, but then again it's not my cuppa tea. They really have to rethink the service, and the delivery. How is the food there? Got home to find one of our 2 meat plates was not in the bag, as well as sides. When we called, the manager didn't seem bothered that our ordered was missing and asked us to come back to the store before closing (it was 8:45 when we called and store closed at 9). Been their four or five times food ok little salty, the last two times horrible service, we waited 20 mins and never got waited on, we left. Went back today and not busy at all and when we walked in the assistant manager said that the wait would be 10 to 15 minutes just to take our order, we left and customers said that it was horrible service, I believe their nice just not trained on how to handle more than one customer just bad management. Great food and simple menu! This is a classic sandwich with pulled pork came with 2 side and a drink! My husband got the 3 meat plate with 2 side. You can chose anything from brisket, ribs, pulled pork,smoked sasuage etc. Kids eat free on Sundays which was a nice surprise! They have one of the cool soad machines where there is every flavor possible! They also have fresh brewed tea and fresh lemonade. Another awesome win is they have free ice cream and cones! They just opened here. I loved Dickey's when I lived in Texas. Instead of mesquite, which is big in Texas BBQ they use Hickory. The ribs are tender except if you do a combo you might get the smaller end which is more cooked and smaller. If you order a half or full rack they are tender and very flavorful. The Brisket is very juicy and tender. I was surprised how much I liked the Jalapeño Cheddar Kielbasa. Just the right amount of heat and melted cheese. Pulled pork is nice and juicy also. Side are of average cup size, and have around 12 to choose from. I've ate here with my wife three times this week and the place is getting fuller and busier too.
