Love the fake mountain that you can climb on to test out the KEEN hiking shoes. While you are there add some SmartWool socks. These are the best! (I also bought another pair which were on sale at Going, Going, Gone in Florida.) The perfect hiking socks. Since there was a suggested packing list, I also added a new waterproof camera case, a crossbody hiking bag, a small flask style 500 ml water bottle and new hiking poles. Check out their sale section. My KEEN water shoes were 50% off and were shipped to me for free. Perfect for water entry hiking days to see sea turtles, Galapagos sea lions and Blue-Footed Boobies. They also have a great selection of jackets, shirts, pants, hats and gloves. Parking is plentiful. Returns are easy. A great place to shop for the Great Outdoors or Urban Hiking.

A group of people of a different race came in right behind me and he spoke to them in front of me. I was holding a black jacket which I was planning to buy, after being blatantly ignored I returned it to the rack and walked out the store. I expect better customer service, especially when a store is barely hanging on. You would think they'd want to be welcoming to all customers. I'll go to a different location from now on.

My attempt to dress like a cowboy. I'm certainly not a cowboy by any means, but I like the look. So I stopped by on a Sunday about an hour before close and had no problem parking in their spacious lot. First off, I was impressed by how big Cavender's is and the wide selection they have. The name doesn't do it justice. It's a lot more than boots. Clothes, belts, pants, hats, decor, and more. For both men and women. I ended up buying a t-shirt, two button-up shirts, and two belts. The staff overall was good. I was approached and asked if I needed help. I was told about a sale without asking. Overall, friendly and attentive. The prices aren't cheap. I spent a pretty penny. Time will tell if it was worth it. But at least now, I was happy with my purchase. Make sure to sign up for their email list for promotions (and to rack up points for future discounts).

Even though he was busy, he was very friendly and willing to help. He let us know he was assisting someone else and asked another representative to take care of us. Honestly, I wish we had waited for the first gentleman. The second representative, a larger gentleman, came over to help us, but the experience was completely different. My fiancé was trying to ask questions and have a conversation about the products, but he came across as very rude and standoffish. It genuinely felt like he didn't want to help us. Customer service plays a HUGE role in whether or not I spend my money in said establishment. We left without making a purchase. Hopefully, future customers receive the same level of service we experienced from the first representative, because he made a great first impression.

I didn't buy anything but there was some REALLY cute stuff in there. They had bathing suits up (in February ---what!?), lingerie, accessories, awesome belt selection, and all the different types of clothes you can think of. But like I said, the prices is what drove me out of here. I wasn't REALLY in the market to buy anything so I'm sure if I needed something I might have splurged. Even the clearance rack that had old stuff on it was barely marked down from $50 to $40 for jeans. I'd rather go to Lane Bryant where I KNOW the quality will stand on it's own (that's about all I really want to go to LB for anymore though).
