Service was great, attentive, friendly! Ordered Pera Pesto and Truffle Funghi and flavors for both pizzas were very good! The crust was nice, light, fluffy but also had a crisp to it. The appetizer was also good, I would have liked a little more basil in it personally. Maybe bread instead of pizza dough would have soaked up the sauciness of the dish too! Dinner paired nicely with a glass of wine too. The only feedback of a suggestion for improvement was that our table wobbled and we tried to apply a temporary fix to avoid the rocking back and forth by placing something under one of the table leg. Other than the table, the interior was pleasant, definitely will be nice when outdoor seating is available!

Service was friendly and we were seated right away. The pizzas were delicious. Perfectly flavored and the dough/ crust has a nice chew. We ordered the pesto pera and funghi one. Both were tasty. We also ordered an appetizer that was like a deconstructed pizza. It was good but a little soupy - probably stick to reg pizza next time

Another good experience at Diavola. They were busy (Wednesday night) so it took a little longer than usual to get our check. Server was very friendly and food came quickly! Food was delicious as always!

My wife and I are both Celiacs and wanted to try out a new to us pizza place. Diavola was average, a mix of the good and not so good. First I really appreciate them having GF crust and noting "allergy" on the box. The crust itself was thin and tasteless. I've definitely had better. I ordered a pizza with extra sauce, mozzarella, peppers and mushrooms, and declined the artichokes. I was surprised and thankful they substituted spinach for the artichokes without me even asking. The mushrooms and peppers were flavorful. The sauce was light and inconsistent on the individual slices. Thought there would've been more since I requested extra. We had ordered ahead of time and the pizza was ready a few minutes early even though the restaurant was packed on a Saturday night.

First timer! I real hidden gem. I live not to far from here and drive past it all the time. I like the vibe set in here it was upscale but still family friendly if that makes sense. Our server was pleasant and gave her recs! I had a delicious cocktail Dolce and the cheesy garlic bread to start. Amazing! Ok then I wanted pasta so I orders the caprese zoodles. I wasn't thrilled but I wasn't dissatisfied either. I'm sure if I revisit I would for sure get a pizza because everyone had a pie and they looked good!

The food was amazing- however I was incredibly disappointed with the service and should have spoke to the manager. My partner and I, who booked reservations for outside a day before for our anniversary, were the only people of color being seated outside at our time of service and were seated in the very back of the parking lot next to a truck DESPITE there being an open table for two. I asked to be moved and was swiftly declined, while the other "booked" table did not arrive until 40 minutes after we got there. I'm extremely disappointed in this establishment and will not be returning.

Shocking that it has taken me this long to visit this place. We had a girls night here and it's perfect. We arrived right at 5, the time that they open. There were several people sitting in their cars ready to go in. Once you go inside you can totally see why. There isn't a ton of seating so I would imagine it will fill up very quickly. Our server was helpful. Since it was my first time I asked quite a few questions. She did let us know that the day I came wine was half off, so of course we had to order a bottle. I'm not super big on Italian food but I ordered the ravioli. It was really good. One of these other ladies I was with is vegetarian and she had several options to choose from. When we were leaving (around 6:30) it was packed so I totally recommend going early or making a reservation.

I know everyone loves the pizza here, but the chicken pesto pasta was calling my name! After scoring a spot on the Top Places to Eat list, I had high expectations and was not disappointed! The pasta was in an oil based sauce with parm, sun dried tomatoes, chicken, and penne noodles. Yum. I also tried got the maialina pizza that has peppers, pepperoni, and sausage on it that was also very good. I've heard great things about the margherita pizza, so that is on my list to try next!

A few friends and I celebrated 2 birthdays here in the Fall. We sat on the patio and had such a lovely time! Their Mushroom Ravioli was everything I could have wanted and then some. So delicious that I didn't have any regrets for ordering pasta over their famous pizza. All of us enjoyed our meals, my friends said the pizza was indeed great and the service was also excellent! Cherry on top was that they offered us 2 free birthday desserts off their menu. It was such a nice treat and rare that we were able to pick them out! Would definitely recommend celebrating special occasions here!

After many recommendations we finally made it to Diavola and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, service was great and the vibe on a Saturday night was just perfect! Everything we ordered was really tasty and the Aperol Spritz was delicious too! Definitely worth it :)

I've always found that restaurants located in the Broad Ripple area of Indianapolis tend to be much more interesting and trendier than what you typically find downtown or in the northern suburbs. The food is usually better too, and our trip to Diavola reinforced that. We went on a Saturday night; I made reservations for 5pm, and within 30 minutes, the place was packed. Service was outstanding. Despite the large crowd, we never waited too long for drinks or appetizers. The baked goat cheese was incredible, as were the cocktails. We had the Diavola pizza, and it was amazing. It's a Napolitana-style crust, and it was obvious that every flavor was intentional. The interior of the restaurant, although space-limited, was inviting and clean. I took note of how many people were sitting outside, in barely-50-degree weather, just to dine here. That says a lot.

Well, first shout out to Delago!! I hope I spelled his name correctly. He promptly got us squeezed in and seated. Second, if you haven't been here your missing out the food here is AMAZING! A local gem well worth it! Great atmosphere and wonderful service. I will definitely be back.

This place is all wine, all the time. I'm not even sure they offer any other adult beverage! As a consummate wine fiend, I didn't even consider any other kind of drink, because I don't need any other adult beverage other than wine, you feel me? I love Solely's commitment to wine. They have wine to drink, and also, the walls are lined with bottles of wine. Just don't touch them! If you see an interesting bottle, don't take it off the shelf. Just tell the people at the counter about the bottle you're interested in, and they will help you. I wasn't in the market for a full bottle of wine during my visits -- just a glass. Solely Wine specializes in "unique, low-intervention wines from passionate small producers," according to their website. So whether you buy a bottle or get a glass, you know you're drinking a thoughtfully chosen wine. I had a glass of the Grenache Syrah blend and the Cab Franc, mostly because I rarely see these kinds of wines offered in the wild. They were both delicious! My only comment is that the pour is very small. The Cab Franc especially felt like it was maybe 4 ounces! I have weighed my wine at home, so I know roughly what a typical wine pour (5 ounces) looks like, and this felt like slightly less. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my wine! And the ambiance is killer. During the day, Solely is a cool place to grab a glass of wine and hang out. It's super close to the Monon Trail, too, so you can just bop over and get a cheeky drink. During the nighttime, the lights are lowered and the ambiance is very romantic and intimate. A great place for a solo drink, and a great place for a romantic date night.

I also love that they're connected to an art gallery, it really adds to the overall experience. I came here for a Yelp event and had an amazing time. Inside, the space is peaceful and inviting, with comfortable seating, games to play, and lots of natural light and live plants that create such a relaxing vibe. The owner was incredibly helpful. I wanted to try a wine flight, and she guided me through selecting options based on my preferences. The wine flight comes with four glasses and is about $24, which felt a little on the expensive side. They accept cards and also have a rewards system (which I definitely signed up for). There's a wide variety of wines, from dry to sweet, so there's something for everyone. I really enjoyed my flight. There was one red (Gamay) that wasn't my favorite since I tend to prefer sweet to semi-sweet wines, but I've been trying to expand my palate, which is why I love the option of flights. It also said it paired well with pizza, so maybe if I was eating that, it would be better. I enjoyed browsing their wine selection for purchase. I really admire how everything is well organized and easy to explore. They sell Stellar pretzels which I've had before and are so good, but solely had cinnamon dolce flavor that I never had before, neither had Kiara, so she bought some and I got to try the them (thank you Kiara!), they tasted just like a churro, so delicious, like a dessert! I can definitely see myself coming back here with friends or even just to enjoy the space and unwind. Such a great vibe overall.

Keagan Fife (Manager) - A team player, receptive to feedback and conscientious. We had a issue while there and he was able to step in and problem solve with me and come up with a solution that really won us over. We had a moment where it was feeling a bit "why did we come here" but his customer service exceeded expectation. That's good management. (He's the gentleman in the video below.) Let's get the negative out the way 1st. The first waitress asked if we wanted anything to drink. I told her we hadn't received menus. She came back sat them down and walked away. We never saw her again. A new waitress came and she seemed pleasant enough. Once we were all seated she began to take our orders. She made a point to say she needed to write it all down or she was get it mixed up. She then did not write anything down. Our food came out extremely slow but that wasn't a huge deal because we all were mingling. A lot of her team had to step in and deliver our food, give drinks, check on us etc. She was pretty non existent. Two of the ladies never received food. This was after we had been there for 2 hours and everyone else had received their items. At the end when we asked for our check they were all mixed up and confused. The waitress then blamed us for adding things and moving around. We never moved once and she only came around the one time when she originally took our orders. We never got a chance to add things. (it was quite comical that she tried to say that) I ended up asking for manager because she seemed overwhelmed and a bit bias about our group. Assuming that we wouldn't want one check and splitting them because she figured we would want it that way and then blaming us because she did it when we never asked for split. There rule is parties over 8 have to have 1 bill and we never asked for an exception. There was just her assumption that a group of black women wouldn't want to do that. (I digress) There were a few more things but I will end it there. That was the big negative. Now the positive!!! Ambiance 10/10 - great views, great music, great location, umbrellas on roof were great although a but wobbly and scary. Also, they come around with complimentary sunglasses while dining. I thought this was a nice and luxurious touch! Food 8/10 - most food received was delicious Service 9/10 - everyone except for our server was great! Everyone who pitched in to help was awesome! Ended up tipping a different server who basically helped us the whole time. Bless his heart because I know he was super busy. As stated above management handle the situation well. I would definitely go back! I try to give people a chance. I think our server may have been overwhelmed and had a past experience that left her bias against our group but hopefully she can grow and get better. Her actions don't reflect the restaurant as a whole! Go and enjoy the vibes and views!

You have a glass (OK, two glasses) of a nice Barbera d'Asti, and savor a couple of nibbly things. Everything is sparkly and right in the world on this beautiful Wednesday afternoon. All this and more can be yours when you visit Wine & Rind. At least, all that and more was mine when I visited. This is my ideal restaurant: wine focused, with a succinct menu of beautifully presented and thoughtfully created food. Plus, it's located right off the Monon Trail in Midtown Carmel, so it's a prime space for people-watching. This little restaurant is a great place to get a charcuterie platter, but I was feeling like bruschetta when I visited, so I ordered the Bruschetta Sampler, which is plenty for two people. It comes out like artwork on a wooden platter: five beautiful bruschetta toasts consisting of traditional tomato; fig and bleu cheese; capocollo and a herbed ricotta; blueberry and lemon ricotta with sugar sprinkled on top; and strawberry and cannoli cream with balsamic. The last one (strawberry and balsamic with cannoli cream) was surprising and might have been my favorite, because it tasted like cheesecake. I love being surprised! I also ordered the caprese salad, which was a wonderfully tasty platter of tomato, mozzarella, basil, pesto, olive oil, balsamic glaze and Maldon salt. It was so fresh and light. Another surprise: It was sprinkled with sprouts! I would have never thought to add that to a caprese, but it 100% worked. The service here is top-notch. The server was super nice and attentive, but also disappeared and only reappeared when necessary. Wine & Rind is a Carmel gem! Even if you don't like cooked carrots (which I don't!) they are sooooo good and there's no other way to describe it. You just have to try it yourself. After the carrots, we thought it would be hard for the rest of the dishes to live up to that but our daily soup (always vegan) was so yummy! It was made with leeks/root vegetables and forbidden rice - absolutely delicious and very earthy! I was so pleased with just those two items, I could've stopped there and had a perfect experience. We both ordered the mapo tofu - and it was not like mapo tofu you'd get at a korean/chinese restaurant. It wasn't a saucy dish at all - in fact, it was intentionally dry - practically charred. It included rice cake which was interesting. I appreciated the charred/crispy texture with the chewy inside. I wouldn't order it again but if you like textured, spicy dishes you might enjoy it. Luke offered to get us something else but we were already full, so we declined. He also gave me a complimentary blueberry sorbet which was delicious and sooo fresh, and wished me a happy birthday!
