    Margherita Pizza.

We were in town for a concert at Turntable, within walking distance of Bazbeaux. A friend who lives in Indy recommended it, so we decided to try it. From the outside, it looked small but was bigger than I thought, yet cozy. Our server greeted us quickly and did a great job throughout our time there. It was hands-down the best Margherita Pizza we've ever had! The Caesar salad with house vinaigrette was delicious, too. We can't wait to return the next time we're in town.

One picture says it all. PIZZA PERFECTION!!!

I hadn't had a pizza from here in a while because I had a very bad experience at the Carmel location. So needless to say I refused to spend my money with them. However I happened to be near the Broadripple location and it was movie night with the fam, so I figured why not. I placed a carry out order and then handled some other things in the area. Customer service was great both over the phone and when picking up my order. It was busy inside but clean and well maintained. The pizza was hot and fresh. I could barely hold it... when I got it to my vehicle, my grandbaby let me know he was extremely pleased with the aroma and that he couldnt wait to have some when we got home. We stopped to get a few other snacks for movie night and when we arrived home the pizza was still hot. I opened thw box and steam came flying up in my face, the crust was still as I remember it and took me back to when I first tried Bazbeaux. It was loaded with toppings in the right proportions (because that is important to me with a pizza) and it ensured that I will return. I have to say, no one matches the wheat crust. I have loved it since my first taste. If you've not had thw opportunity to try Bazbeaux pizza, take this as your sign to give them a try. Happy yelping!!!

Bazbeaux is one of those places that I feel like has stood the test of time. When I moved to the BRV area nearly 20 years ago, I remember how creative and innovative their offerings were for Indiana. Seafood on a pizza? I've never had it before, but man it was delicious! A Mexican themed pizza? Wheat flour crust option? Yeah! Fast-forward to now, and they still serve excellent pizza, with many of the same specialties that I remembered way back when. We order the Neptune without cheese and the Veggie pizza with half ricotta only, both on wheat crust. Our server was friendly and efficient, and in about 15 mins our pizzas arrived just as we'd ordered. Without the cheese, you really can taste the other ingredients and sauce, which I truly enjoy. It's got such a rich tomato flavor and is so well-spiced. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and juicy! The dining room hasn't changed much over the years, it's what I imagine a typical modern pizzeria to look like with wooden chairs and tables. It was clean with no dirty dishes on tables. The prices are fair for the area and the amount of food we received. We had enough for leftovers the next day. All in all it was a great visit and we'll be back again soon!

We were in Indy this weekend to scout rentals and stopped in Broad Ripple to get pizza for lunch. Bazbeaux was hyped in Trip Advisor, so I figured we should check it out. As plant-based people, seeing that they offered vegan cheese was nice. Our server Eliot was very nice and courteous. Checked on us while the food was waiting. We ordered pizza and then decided to get garlic bread while waiting for the pizza to be ready. Ambiance is nice and casual. The bathroom was very clean and smelled good, so it's a good sign when a restaurant maintains a good restroom. Our pizza was a 12" veggie with vegan cheese. I think it was Follow Your Heart cheese as it melted well and stretched easily. Not too gummy. I love a veggie pizza that comes with artichoke hearts. We were well satisfied with the flavor of the pizza, the crispiness of the crust, and the lack of sogginess. The garlic bread was really good. All in all, the 12" pizza with customization, garlic bread with cheese and sauce was ~$32. I would recommend coming back. The Broad Ripple location is super nice. There's outdoor and indoor seating, and it's right by the canal and the Monon Trial. Bike for a slice.

Ask the Community - Bazbeaux Pizza

Do you serve pizza by the slice?

    Yes but only at lunch.

How many people can eat from the 16inch?

I'd say it depends on toppings, who is eating, if you want any leftovers, and how hungry you are! Thin crust - so 3 or maybe 4? But we always get one of their yummy salads to start, so eating pizza only could change this :)

No pizza place from my home state can't compare so Giordano's is always something to look forward to during our 4 day visit. Meat and more meat! This was our table's pizza that was split between 4 people. Honestly can't complain, I love all of their pizza but since we only visit once a year, we always order deep dish style. Never fails and always leaves us full! Carnivore? Then you should definitely order this dish! Make sure it's the biggest one too! Calabrian Chili Honey Chicken Wings Ok so I can't be entirely biased with Giordano's. We wanted to try this out since it was a limited chicken wing flavor and honestly it wasn't the best. I mean it's a pizza joint? They specialize in pizza but we were so hungry that we figured to try it out. Hey, if you love chicken wings or just an enthusiast for wings in general, by all means give this one a shot if it's still available! Overall Always excited to come to Indiana cause I KNOW I'll be eating some damn good pizza. Deep dish style isn't for everyone which is nice that they have their Tavern Style and Thin Crust Pizzas. But since Giordano's specializes in deep dish pizza, it's highly recommended to order deep dish style! can't wait to visit again next year and see what new pizza they'll have! And can't forget about the awesome servers doing their best on those busy convention nights! Y'all the real MVP's! Ambiance is warm and inviting with a bit of high noise since it's also got a bar but it never phases me, if anything it's relaxing since I know I'll be indulging into pizza goodness. Just remember to come hungry and you'll guaranteed to leave happy! See you next year Giordano's!

It could use some improvements, but nothing major. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and warm. Food: Really good deep-dish pizza! BIG portions, standout flavors, and superior ingredients. I have to laugh that my first review for this location of Bazbeaux, an Indy pizza icon since 1986,…read morewas actually my 300th Yelp review. Now, I'm over 1800 reviews and Yelp has become a huge part of my life. I was attending a nearby event related to Indy Shorts Film Festival and decided I wanted to visit Mass Avenue a bit once the event was over. This was early afternoon. After looking around a bit, I opted for a long-awaited return to Bazbeaux. Of course, a lot has changed in this area in the last few years. Parking prices are up (way up), though it's pretty plentiful with nearby street parking (metered) and parking along Mass Avenue. You also have a couple nearby parking garage options. Finding an accessible spot is fairly easy - curb cuts remain solid in this area and there continue to be some (but not all) crosswalks with audio. As was true nine years ago, accessibility on Mass Avenue can be challenging. That said, I think it has improved. I entered Bazbeaux and immediately noticed some improvement right away. There are two sides - a dining side, a bar side (with tables), and an aisle you can use for carry-out. The interior is warm, calming, and surprisingly intimate. The bar area is a bit louder, it's a bar area after all, but it's still pretty quiet. Service here remains strong. The hostess offered the bar area or a booth. Tables are not all wheelchair friendly, however, there are quite a few accessible options. My server, Samuel, was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. He paced my meal nicely - I ordered garlic bread, my usual unsweetened iced tea (I think they still serve Mighty Leaf - an unusual choice that I love). I ordered a small (10") pizza with one-topping (pepperoni). I lingered a little bit, though not excessively so like my last visit. This time around, I was alone and my meal time was more traditional. The prices were definitely higher than last time, however, what price isn't higher than nine years ago? They were on park with the market these days and I had no issues with it - I think my meal came in at about $19 for the pizza, garlic bread, and iced tea (and I did get my always desired refill). Bazbeaux is unique in that every location (Mass Ave, Broad Ripple, Carmel) is located along the Monon Trail. They all have outside dining options, as well. They serve beer and wine, sandwiches, pizza, and more. One thing I have to say - accessibility is improved. I was noticeably bothered by it the last time I was here. This time around, I was comfortable and could easily function (I did not try the bathroom). While I could still see it being a bit difficult when packed, I arrived at an ideal time and was quite comfortable. The food was good, the service was very good, the prices were fair, and the atmosphere was nice and peaceful after a busy morning event. It really hit the spot. So, yeah. Last time around, I gave Bazbeaux a 3-star review. This time, I'm forking over that 4th star.

As my slice was being heated in the oven, I had the opportunity to look around as well as admire the pictures near the entrance, which featured memorable sporting moments as well as some with the owner. Giorgio's has an acceptable number of tables with seats in the dining area to give you a chance to enjoy your meal onsite while it is hot and fresh. Prior to tasting my white slice, I could not resist smirking, as I smelt its garlicky smell and glanced at it in my lap which prompted my mouth to salivate.
